    19,789 actual miles. Wow! This car is in amazing original condition. One of the best survivors I've seen. I was in the shop where this car was being inspected, 4 of my workers were raving about the condition. A Woman bought this car new, she didn't like to drive. She passed away and the daughter hung on to the car for sentimental reasons, she didn't use it. The car was literally parked in the same spot from 1985 until 2014, 29 years! A collector bought the car and pulled it from hibernation. The car was is dry storage but had an inch of dust. In one of the pictures you can hardly tell what color it is. He put in fresh fluids, new tires and battery. The car started and ran perfectly. He put 500 miles on the car over 3 years and traded the car in to us in 2018. We sold it to a customer of ours that likes low mile originals. He babied it and drove it to shows. He also put on the new polished Torque Thrust wheels and BFG tires. The original hubcaps and rims are included. The body has zero rust. The factory paint is remarkably good, sharp color too. The chrome, trim, glass is amazing. Still has 4 original T-3 headlights. Rubber seals and weatherstrips are still soft. The interior is outstanding. The dash area sparkles like brand new. Seats had plastic covers, the white upholstery is pristine. Never smoked in, the ashtrays and lighter haven't been used. Everything inside this car is a 10! The original trunk compartment looks new. The mat shows no age. Has jack and spare. Motor compartment is very clean. I told the guys not to spray paint, leave it original. It has the big 425-300 hp mill and features power steering & brakes. Under the car is rock solid. I also said do not spray paint under the car. It is all original as it left the factory. Several assembly line paint markings and tags are still visible.100% rock solid, it has factory undercoat. It has original spiral shocks, original u-joints. It has it's original Turbo 400 Hydramatic trans. It's a dream to drive. Nothing drives as good as a well preserved original that hasn't been taken apart. They are only original once!

    I'm 25, and seriously... I only like cars from 50s, 60s and 70s.
    This car is in my top 3.
    If only I had the cash (or when I will have it), I would for sure buy one like this.

    DYNAMIC 88 !
    425 c.i. Rocket
    7.0
    A great engine with great history;
    1. first post war V-8 and
    2. first OHV mass produced V-8 in 1949 and
    3. the 425 continued until 1990.
    Sorry JAY, I told you several months ago my old man was an Oldsmobile man and I got fired up when I saw this video.

    Jay . What a magnificent motor car! I know l've never seen this model before , it 's a very attractive and elegant piece of history when the American motor industry was at it's hiatus.
    If l lived in the USA l would have to have this car, they just don't exsist in this time warp condition , it's immpecable. This really is of museum quality and you should put this in yours ! The only thing that is more unbelievable is the price , you're giving it away ! It has to be worth 50 at least , surely ? Where are you going to find another like it ? NO WHERE! .......".Mr. Davey ?" .. ...."Yes nurse " ....."lt's time to go back to your room now " ........"yes nurse" 😂😂😂 Thanks Jay.

    In 1971, at 16, I learned to drive in my dad's '65 Dynamic 88 convertible. It had the 425 2-barrel single exhaust that, according to the owner's manual, made 310 hp. The 425 4-barrel dual exhaust made 360 hp.
    Three times I crested a hill and had all four tires off the ground... Dad never knew.

    May I ask Mr. Grams, where do you come up with these awesome finds?? Wow, this is absolute perfection! And a 100% survivor! (Where else but at Volo?) Love those mid-60s Olds bodies. And these colors are perfect for this one .... And the wheels bring it together perfectly. Well described, presented and VERY well priced indeed! Thank you for another great find and video. P.S. I had to jump back in to comment on the end of the video where he's backing it out ..... Listen to the awesome Olds sound!!

    Holy shit man. Never even heard of it. Looks a lot like the 67 442's I've seen. I have no idea but I'm wondering if that's the precursor to the 442 or another model altogether? I have really fallen in love with this body style this year. The Roadrunners and GTX and the 67 Chevelle and the Coronet and the GTO and others that all had that body style at some point.

    • @markg7030
      @markg7030 Před 3 lety +1

      I think GM started this "coke bottle" style in 1965. Some full sized Pontiacs look like a huge GTO. then Dodge and Plymouth copied the look in 1968-70. The Camaro/Firebird look from 1967-69 was later copied by Dodge and Plymouth In 1970-74 Challenger and Cuda. The New Challenger has the same classic style.

      @@markg7030 damn, that's a good point about the Camaro and Firebird look on the Challenger and Barracudas. It's funny, I just looked at a 67 Camaro just last night and thought how it had that kind of look but I never put much thought into it. Thanks! I never liked that style before at all, and weird I never liked the Challengers and Barracudas from back then either. Not quite sure why, but I just didn't see the right ones. Then as if a few months back, I saw a few that hit me just right. It's much like jazz music (not shitty smooth jazz but like Miles Davis bebop jazz) and Grateful Dead. I didn't like them either and I kept trying, and one day I finally heard it just right and now I have no idea how I ever lived without them. Thanks for the info. I know a lot of cars copy a lot of cars, but there are still many things I do not know as I'm trying to learn about these old cars. Thanks!

I'm glad to see there are people who specialize in these beautiful cars and that they look brand new. That's all I want to drive is old fast, loud, nice muscle cars and pick up trucks.
