Awesome video. Chief Igwe was a tough RDC for sure! And Staff Sergeant Thompson- great teacher. OCS is awesome. Makes you a better person.

I went through OCS in Newport back in 1956. The Navy drafted some of us and we all went through boot camp after college graduation. Many opted to become officers instead on staying in the enlisted rank for two years. My class had about 700 candidates, no women. There were two part Hawaiians, two Chinese and one Black. The rest of the class was White. The times have changed. Oh yeh, I was one of the part Hawaiians.

I went through A77006. Once in a life time event. Looks to have changed somewhat but the value is beyond calculation. I was the oldest OC when I joined and was older than my Company Officer.

I wanna do Special Forces and I wanna be an SO (SEALS) so would this help me become a Navy Seal Officer so that way I know which ways are right to use when leading so would this help me out so I was wondering if this would help me with that and I have only one reason why I wanna be a Navy seal and that’s to fight for the fallen brothers and sisters that are dead from the bombing blast 💥 on August 26th 2021
