Forgot to mention that you have to HOLD the start button down when you plug in the usb to enter edit mode! Sorry for the error
You can go into config mode by holding down the start button and x+y for 5 sec approximately without having to plug in the usb every time :D
the 192.168.7.1/settings can't be found the site says so
Thank you so much for guiding us set these!!I can tell you know this GP2040-CE very well❤
My pleasure! Thx for the comment!
This is dope i literally just got my T16 today, i didn’t even think to make the button under right kick to be another forward!
Just make sure you set the second forward to left analog stick because that’s the tournament legal settling. Just out of curiosity, what convinced you to buy the T16?
@@Chris_F I’m not the biggest fan of the ds5 and i already had a brook wingman for using a ds4 but the micro usb ports on them aren’t good and break easily . I was already interested in trying out some sort of stick and landed on haute. Bought the T16 instead of buying a new ds4 because i have bigger hands and it fits me perfectly. I feel like if i had bought one of haute’s smaller version it would’ve been more akward to use for me. I also play majority of my non fgc games on PC and the carryover from kbm while not exact, is still definitely there so adapting isn’t as bad as i thought.
This is great, thank you for the video. Got a G16 that I am trying to learn on, and hoping that this will help.
Thanks!
Should help for sure, the G16 is more or less the same other than button type and height
Great video. Thank you so much
Glad you enjoyed it!
Could you post your pin mapping for tekken? I have difficulty understanding what your saying thank you
thank you very much
You’re welcome!
That a interesting hitbox
It’s a haute42 T16
Can you set a button to be a modifier for others, so that when it's held it's effectively a different button? Can you have two modifiers?
Do you use a parry macro or did you just get really good at not accidentally plinking?
Not sure about the modifiers. I set both DI and Parry as a macro
Could you make a video detailing your Tekken 8 mapping for every button? I know movement and 1234 are standard but not sure what to map the rest of the buttons to
Busy with Akuma and sf6 season 2 stuff this week but I’ll try my best
Tks for the guide. I had a question about your t8 setting?
Did you pinmap the 18 and 19 pins as back and forward, or did you change the direction ingame? I have a ps5 and want to see how i can get your set up to work
I set forward and back on the left analog stick to pins 18 and 19.
It works on ps5 bc those are the setting I used in tournament at evo japan a few days ago
@@Chris_F how did you do that though? theres no option for that in pin settings
Do you know how to map PIN 26? Since I've updated my firmware, Extra button add on in gone, but in pin mapping it still shows as "assigned to addon".
Thank you for the video!
Try switching it to PS4 mode in the general settings page
Hi ! thank you so much for your tutorials! I want to start playing with a leverless for T8. What exactly do I need to take to play on PS5?
Just need something like a brook wingman ps4 -> ps5 adapter
@@Chris_F Thx 🙏.
hi i just want to ask. if im playing on pc should i use ps4 profile. or just keyboard? and if i want to use your same settings. do i need to do it on the browser settings? or i just need to go straight in tekken 8 configuration. thanks for answering in advance. you earn a new subscriber.
I use ps5 settings then I set everything in the browser
On my setting I have my haute set to left stick, and i chabged the same buttons to left and right but the inputs still read analog stick. How do you get one button to be directional d-pad and the other to be directional stick i have a T16
DDI left and DDI right
Sick guide I'm using the TO16. How do I easily change profiles and mappings for different games?? Right now, I have the PIN 18 (the button above left/medium punch at the top) mapped to left analog stick left for tekken and the bottom button (pin 19) set to left analog stick right like how you have mapped for tekken and love it. How do i make them available buttons again for sf6? sf6 registers them as left and right and wont let me map them as buttons for other inputs like light & medium kick for kens quick dash, does my question make sense?
I’ve been meaning to get a video out on this but I have 2 more videos I need to get out first. For now, check out their official discord bc that’s where I learned how to donit
@@Chris_F i got it working!
Where you have the 'PLAYED BACK SAVED STATE' IS pin26, how ever in the pin mapping page says: Assigned to addon. I have it the same way but PIN26 is mapped to anything. I would like to map PIN26(M2) to mirror LB(L1). How can I do that?
Disable add on in the main settings menu, I think that should work. Also make sure you are on PS5 mode AND you have firmware 0.78
Great video. I have the standard settings for movement on tekken 8 on my ps5. Is this the same as what you have? I cant tell, i just got the t16 today😅 i really wanna learn how to wavedash quick and do electrics
Check out my levelers Mishima guide, it has everything you need!
This is super helpful. I take it you just have a profile for each game? How do you switch between profiles?
You have to set profile settings AND a profile switch macro in the bios settings
@@Chris_F Alright sounds fair. I’ll have to look into it once my G16 arrives. I may be back with questions lol
Also what are the extra buttons mapped to by default? I can’t seem to find an answer for that
@kylehunter don’t forget to ask in the official discord. I’m not sponsored by them, I’m just a dude so I don’t know everything about it. I’m still learning too!
@@Chris_F Leverless has been soo much fun to learn and see what tech is there that I didn’t even consider. I’ll hop in the discord too!
can you explain what did you do in web configurator to assign left analog stick to the buttons? I'm trying to read the documentation but to no success.
I’m not home right now and I can’t remember the exact steps off the top of my head. Ask on the official haute42 discord and someone will be able to help
I also need help with this
Did you figure this out?
@@Lounginq nope. I don't think it's actually an option. You can bind same direction to two different buttons but I don't think there is a functionality to bind analog diagonal to a button.
@@MrBartuzi i figured it out he has them set as Ddi left and right for number 18&19
Wait, how did you get passed the “ASSIGNED TO ADDONS” issue when mapping button26 ?
I have it set to ps4 so I never came across that issue. I also disabled addons IIRC
Would the magic x adapter from mayflash work on this for xbox? If so do you recommend this one or should i try the mini keyboard one for tekken?
Sorry I don’t own an Xbox so im not 100% sure but I think it works on Xbox. I’m a tournament player and tournaments are only on PS5 or sometimes PC so those are the only systems I’ve tested on
I confirm that Mayflash Magic-X works for Xbox Series X. Pad Haute42 M16 (default X-input mode) + Magic-X plugged into Xbox + usual USB cable between adapter and M16 = success.
Most tournament controller configs only require you don't have one button mimicking multiple inputs.
Having a button assigned to the SF6 DI macro input is OK, having it set to input HP+HK is not, as an example.
All of these settings are tournament legal
what is the specific name of the additional left/right/up/down buttons. (unsure if I should bind 2 buttons to literally the "left/right" buttons due to legality) Is there a bind for L stick movement?
I assumed DDI left/right was it, but when I bound those the buttons did not work.
For now, Im just binding left twice, which I think its not the best for some events with the 1:1 button rule
DDI L/R is correct, but you have to enable dual directional input in the add-ons menu (separate from pin mapping)
@Chris_F ahhh. Awesome, that helps alot!
Thanks
how do I edit the rgb so it doesnt make the old input button glow when I click them?
Delete the secondary color in options
Your video was really insightful but for some reason I still can't get my Haute controller to map properly for my PS5. Can you do a longer video that goes in depth on each step BUT for mapping the controller to work on a PS5 instead of mapping the controller to work on a PC. When I finished the steps and then tried my controller on my PS5 all of the buttons were still the same as out of the box. I successfully put the latest drivers on the controller, but for some reason the changes I make to individual buttons don't go through and it plays 100% out of box instead of with the changes that I have made. I may end up doing a video so that you can see what I'm talking about.
As much as I’d like to I don’t own a PS5 so I’m not going to be able to make that.
Ask the people on the official discord for haute42 since they’ll be able to answer your question!
Do you know what the input for down forward, back forward, and the touchpad is?
Sorry, I play on PC so I don’t know. You should ask on their official discord
Hi, I can't map the pin26, the button on the left of the jump button. It says assiged to addon. I'm using XInput. How can I change the button to say parry in SF6. Please help.
Disable addons - that should help.
It’s under the main settings page IIRC
@@Chris_F sorry to bother, I still can't find where to disable the addons for pin26 on the setting page. I' know I'm missing something.
@5eun729 I use ps5 mode and have firmware 0.78 try that
How do you make a pin to the touchpad button on ps5 so I can restart battle during practice?
Not sure, I’d ask on the official discord
I still can’t get my oled to show all my buttons unfortunately, btw got master today, went on a 12 or so win streak then lost a few then a 9 win streak, my final match was a little scrappy as I was full of adrenaline but we got it man👍
I haven’t tried to get all the buttons either haha. Great job and congrats!!!
@@Chris_F man i need to figure it out😅
how do i assign a button to the stick instead of dpad?
Same as any other button iirc
does anyone know if there is a shortcut to switch profile without needing to open the web configurator?
Thanks ♥
I too would love to know this.
Yes there is, I’ll make a quick guide
@@Chris_F has this been made yet?
Can you take a Pic of the pin mapping page for tekken 8?
Check out my leverless Mishima guide for settings
czcams.com/video/vHYML50urw0/video.htmlsi=LwsqQxnFcxEdzpgO
Can the left input be used in 2 different places?
Yes, but you’ll have to follow my steps if you enter tournaments to have a tournament legal layout
For ps4 it’s asking for 3 files to upload where do I get them?
Sorry I’m not sure, I don’t play on PS4.
You should ask in their official discord!
Did you figure out where to get the files?
@@RellikFGCyes sir!!!💪🏾
Great to hear!
cant we pelage and play on PS4 & PC ? do we have to do all that ?
You absolutely can plug and play! This is for us sweaty tournament players who are tying to optimize as much as possible
@@Chris_F thankyou brother for the feedback
@imohbalu my pleasure
where do you put parry in sf6?
Do you mean me, personally?
You can put it wherever you want, but I keep it on the top row beside HP and I push it with my ring finger.
I put DI below the MK button
The ip link doesnt work for me, tried on multiple browsers too.
Did you hold down START before you plugged in your controller? Do that, then go to the IP link
@@Chris_F Yes I just had to switch up the USB-C.
This is not clear for Tekken8 you say something about the "right kick" key but this could be different depending on the mapping. I have this mapped to LB. My Why not say the name of the actual key like ABXY?
Because what are PC players supposed to call it? PS5 players? Too many names so I just picked what is common sense in the FGC
Wanna ask its legal in turnament ?
that a lot of button
Absolutely legal as long as you aren’t running multiple input macros.
@@Chris_F i have read longtimeagon you can have 12 atk button its that always the case ?
@leesangpayab29 not true. A PS4/5 controller has more than 12 attack buttons and they are tournament legal
@@Chris_F Hmm, i count 10 maybe i miss some ? 4 trigger 4 button 2 joystick what i miss ?
