Tifa's always felt right for Cloud.. she's understood him since he was a kid. She's loved him since then as well... While Aerith is a very kind soul, her love was with Zack... and I find that it doesn't feel right for her to love Cloud as well. It's always felt natural that Cloud and Tifa belong for eachother.

@@minnasouen7460 The couples are already canon, but Cloti has always been mistreated by the English localization team, so there's always been ambiguity, even if they are basically a married couple.
They provide for each other and they have adopted kids.
It would be amazing if they put a separation between the two couples, Zerith is Zerith, Cloti is Cloti... also because I'm tired of people saying Cloti is not real and I'm sick of feeling almost there, but there's always this annoying obstacle, which keeps us from seeing the couple actually blooming, with no restrictions anymore.
Nojima made it canon now with Traces of Two Pasts hooray!

This is so different from other MV’s I have found so far and this has very unique charm to it. I especially love the dialogue. Some might argue but I definitely think Cloud and Tifa are destined soulmates. He didn’t “move on” to Tifa, his heart always belonged to her.

I'm a "ship and let ship" kind of person, but I do agree that to deny Cloud and Tifa's connection is bogus. Especially in the Remake. I got serious Zerith and Cloti vibes for endgame, but we'll see what Square Enix decides to do!
SassyUnicorn 7 It’s the truth selective people deny even though it is quite obvious when you look at their dynamics at a deeper level. I just hope the coming parts will show, clearly and unambiguously how important they are for each other 💖The Remake has done a good job at planting the *seeds* here and there, even one particular event become non-optional (flower 💕), I am looking forward to have this beautiful connection blossoms into a wonderful romance 💗
@@andrewcarlton6196 I agree that it was somehow shown in aerith's novel that she moved on from zack...she was in the lifestream trying to help those she left save the planet. :O I didnt really read it properly but the vibe I got from it was that she preferred cloud more now, over zack. :O
I dunno how true...but i saw somewhere that the team in square said in an interview that tifa was the childhood friend you grew up with in school, and aerith was the transfer student coming in the middle of the year and would leave eventually...or something hahaha i cant phrase it right. I hope you guys get the point 🤣

I'm 1 year late to this but man... This hits home, the words used to describe Tifa were on point.
She's knew cloud is a troubled person and accepted him as her hope was to fix him & allow him to become a better person. She plays in a "soft" way that doesn't make cloud feel uncomfortable, when Tifa started crying on his shoulder was, we saw a glimmer of the real Cloud as his heart slowly opened up to her.
Screw my dreams man, my wish is to see both of them ending up together & marrying each other. Then I could die in peace knowing it happened.
I have never seen such a beautiful relationship between two characters in a game. They r not lover. They r soulmates ♥️♥️

This is sweet and beautifully done. I love Cloud and Tifa together, I'm just super partial to their stories and compatibility. I love Aerith for who she is, but for some reason I resonate more with Cloud being with Tifa, especially the idea that they've always known each other and always will be there for each other. It really is personal preference.

It feels so calm... Cloud and Tifa are my OTP, i've been looking every video i can find on CZcams, and this is one of my favorite 3! Yeah, i saw A LOT videos and only 3 are my favorrites, those videos makes dream about they being together and happy, they deserve it!

I came back to watch this again bc someone posted it in our FB group after a conversation we were having about Cloud and Tifa today. Watching this again just now got me shook. My emotions are all over. The set up for the video, the words at the beginning and the juxtaposition of the video pieces and the way you transition from scenes, young Cloud and Tifa against older Cloud and Tifa, like the angles of showing Tifa's hair, etc. I can't get over how beautiful this is. This is always going to be my favorite ship for so many reasons, I love them and their story so much, and the way you brought that to life in this short but very beautiful video just makes my heart sing.
Thank you so, so much for sharing such a heartfelt comment! 💕 The story of FFVII has always been very near and dear to my heart, so, as you can imagine, I feel the exact same about the characters. Cloud and Tifa especially. Their bond is just beyond couple goals, and maybe even beyond soulmates, and it's so crazy that we're getting to re-experience their journey in HD thanks to the Remake!
A fellow Cloti told me "Relationships with people who can fight through anything with us are important. I think we all need someone like that in our lives," and I wholeheartedly agree and believe this sums up Cloti beautifully. They're fighters in every sense of the word, and seeing them fight alongside each other as well as for each other is just so endearing. Truly is the ship of all ships 💖

I love Tifa... I love Aerith... and this 23 year ship war has been more intense than ever before, lol. It's really riveting how each word, each touch, each interactions can sway you to the left and to the right, sometimes a little too far left or right.
You can't deny the chemistry between the 3 characters, and how the awkward tension can cut an elephant in half.
What I'm trying to get to is that, based on facts and the journey (aka how old I am), lol... I was there in 1999 (I played 7 after I played 8 :-P). I loved Tifa and then Aerith came into the picture so I was conflicted... Ahhhh!! When did they ever introduce a triangle in a game? Even at the end of the game (and the disappointing ending) I was conflicted with how I felt about Cloud's feelings. I shipped both ships. We were left to our own devices and imagination. Final Fantasy had never been "remade" before and so we never thought that Square would ever touch base with FF7 ever again.
Then Advent Children came out in 2005. To be honest... I remember FF7 to be so emotionally draining, I never watched it. Couldn't.
When Crisis Core came out in 2007, I jumped ship and bought a PSP just for that. The OG talked about Zack so much, I needed to find out EVERYTHING I could about him. I was a 3rd class petty officer in the Navy then. Let me tell you I cried like a little b*tch in my rack. Okay? Tear soaked pillow and lip quivers. It was ugly. If you want your heartstrings played, look no further. It changed how I felt about Cloud and Aerith... and yes, I still shipped them but it's like, I don't know. Look at the facts. You can't un-see and un-feel those feels.
Finally, this crazy ass year... I remember getting news in my feed about FF7R's delay and how they wanted to make fans happy. I always act tsundere (ツンデレ) when it comes to FF releases (ever since disappointing FF's came out after FFX) so I casually didn't want to buy FF7R. However I knew I'd still take a hard look at some point. At the same time, I suddenly developed an eye infection 2-3 weeks prior to the game's release date and stopped all personal activities to rest. That made me bored, which is how I ended up downloading the FF7R demo a week prior to its release date. The demo sold me on the combat system and character design. For 20 years, the glimmer of hope in the demo, they did us good.
Needless to say, Remake is a hit worldwide and revived the longest ship wars and brought many new fans, fans that never played it, or hadn't played all the games in the series, and fans that weren't even alive back then.
After playing all the games in succession and yes, I recently sat down and watched Advent Children for the first time... which I think hits even harder after playing all the games. It's clear to see how things unfolded. I cried listening to Hollow... I cried watching the movie -- Summoning everything within my life experience... I still love Tifa... and I still love Aerith. But CloTi is real folks. 👫

When i was new to the fandom i was too young to understand relationships and i really thought cloud and aerith had a thing based on few comments here and there, quite normal bcos she’s the main girl.
While finding it really cool with tifa and cloud being ‘friends’ in Advent Children. Or so I thought.
But then i got older...when i see them... it’s hard to unsee the deep connection they have with one another.
I wont say what’s real and not, but in real life settings, from my humble experience, someone like cloud with a tifa in his life, would definitely see it for himself.

I liked the short film.
In this remake you can see the feelings and development that Cloud and Tifa have, we have seen this situation in FF7 Crisis Core (short conversation between Zack and Cloud). I respect the people who ship Cloud and Aerith, but we all know why Aerith is attracted to Cloud ... (whoever played the original). Also, that Kitase said there were gaps that he wanted to clear up in the remake.
He really will clear up in the remake about Tifa ,Aerith and Cloud relationship.I am so happy to hear this.

I’m new to the FFVII community. Started my journey with the remake and then went on to consume everything on the internet after finishing it because I needed answers/information. For what my newbie opinion is worth, it seems that the devs put some extra focus on Cloud and Tifa in the remake compared to the original and, based on the remake alone, there’s no doubt that Cloti is real and the devs were purposeful. What makes me scared is that (spoiler), what they’ve done now with this new ending, they are going to change fate and swap out Aerith for Tifa as a sacrifice and that’s why they’ve built-up the relationship so much with Tifa and Cloud in this remake so the impact will be harder. I hope they don’t go that route.
Anyway, I just wanted to say, after watching every video on CZcams about Cloti and Clerith, yours is one of the most well-edited and impactful ones out there. You have a real talent.
I'm sorry I'm just now seeing this, but thank you for the love! And I wouldn't worry. The Lifestream sequence is one of the most pivotal moments from the original game, and they can't have it without Cloud and Tifa. There'd be no point for Tifa to die other than shock factor, and that's the stupidest reason of all for writers to kill off characters. These guys have been fleshing out the story of FFVII for 20+ years, so I'd like to give them a little more credit than that, you know ;)
