Fun fact, it's said before joining the order, he was referred to as the Tarnished, the Chosen Undead, the Bearer of the Curse, and the Ashen One. According to lore, he let chaos take the world when tasked with mending the Elden Ring. Upon burning down the world, the dragons return. Centuries later, he was captured in Lordran and imprisoned in the undead asylum to rot and go hollow. Upon being freed by Oscar, he proceeded to travel to Firelink Shrine. Upon reaching Firelink Shrine, he was tasked with ringing the bells of awakening to summon Kingseeker Frampt. Upon doing so, he is tasked with obtaining the Lord Vessel in Anor Londo. Upon doing so, he is tasked with obtaining the Lord Souls needed to fuel the Lord Vessel to gain entry to the Kiln of the First Flame where Gwyn stands guard. Upon defeating Gwyn, he refused to link the First Flame. He was then cursed by Kingseeker Frampt and exiled from Lordran. After wondering the wilds for centuries, he came across a shack that told of an Eastern land called Drangleic that would cure him of his curse. Upon traveling to Drangleic, he is tasked with obtaining Great Souls, which are required to gain access to Drangleic Castle and gain an audience with King Vendrick himself. Upon reaching the castle, it is revealed by Queen Nashandra that King Vendrick left the castle. It is also revealed that he needs to obtain the King's Ring in order to access the Throne of Want where his curse would finally be lifted. Upon venturing to the Undead Crypt, he finds Vendrick hollow. With the ring in hand he ventures to the Throne of Want and battles the throne's guards as well as Nashandra. Upon seeing that the throne will not truely cure him, he leaves Drangleic and ventures back to the West. Centuries go by and our hero grows tired of searching for a cure. He then has himself buried in the Cemetery of Ash in the now Lothric (Lordran fell after Solaire linked the flame in our stead). Our hero is then awakened from his slumber by the new Firekeeper as the fire is fading. Upon reaching the new Firelink Shrine, he is greeted by the Firekeeper, referred to now as the Ashen One, and is now tasked with obtaining the Lord Souls needed to gain access to the Kiln of the First Flame. Through his adventures, he learns of a future where the fire fades and the world falls into darkness and where he would finally be free from the curse. Upon defeating the Soul of Cinder (a culmination of chosen undead who linked previous fires), our hero chooses to let the fire die. Interestingly, as the age of fire dies as well as his curse, he does not. As the world is reborn, new races emerge and the world takes form of Nirn where humanity is born of dust. As the last surviving member of the old world, he deems it his mission to rule over the new world. However, the other races do not share his views. As such, new kingdoms arise. Centuries later, the Three Banner War starts. From the shadows, our hero forms the Order whose mission is to overthrow the kingdoms at war with each other. At this point in the story our hero faces off against an Elf, a Nord, and a Brenton Assassin. Whether he survived is unknown. However, his body was never found.

@@CreativeUsernameEhI suppose if you want to be technical he Is half imperial half Breton but that mix is still just called a cryo Breton at the end of the day
"If you remove your helmet, then you are a Breton no more."
Sounds like a Mandalorian.
*This is the way*
This is immediately what I thought of. Warmongering soldiers who never reveal their face? Martial badasses spanking spellslingers and dumping on the world's best armies? These dudes are mandalorians, and this is their idea of politics XD
🤔So how’s he take a shower if he can’t take his helmet off?
So basically, this dude is Apollyon from For Honor. That just makes him even more badass in my book.
You know the people behind this trailer are amazing almost got me to play eso again
it's Iron Tarkus, obviously
TARKUS TARKUS TARKUS
TARKUS TARKUS TARKUS!!
Hell nah, Tarkus would fall off this roof
@@NiCoNiCoNiCola But he did fall through the roof.😉
TARKUS TARKUS TARKUS
when you're a side character thinking you're the main character, then you run into the actual main character
actually that knight is whiterun guard cousin who fight the dragon, he maximimize 100 dual hand, 100 heavy armor, 100 one hand,
its the fact he survived a sword to the guts and a 300 lbs bridge falling on him not to forget fell like a king on a throne
"IM STILL STANDING!"
So an agent of chaos working in the shadows? Letting their presence known while maintaining anonymity? A faceless leader with spectacular combat prowess taking out strong characters by himself? What else? Are we eventually gonna see him strike a pose and say _I am atomic_ ???
Love the reference to shadow
STRIKE A TAUNT PEPPINO KINGHT!
Literally Apollyon
@@RahmpageChicken he said it's wolfing time
nah he is just a very lost alpha legionnaire
Bro took down a lore friendly nord holy crap
The knight inspired the design of one of the most memorable fights in one of my d&d campaign, where the party fights a singular soldier who damn near handed their asses to them without casting a single spell, owning any titles or even being named.
Because yes, the mighty and famous might seem strong, but the reality of life is that sometimes, the random soldier is just better. He's a killer, and there's a goddamn good reason he's getting paid to be one.
That trailer really manages to sell that a purely martial character isn't outclassed in world with magic in it.
True agents of controlable chaos. Jigallag should take an eye for them
Divide and conquer.
JyggleDemTigObitties
He is the protagonist we want as playable character
Everyone can be a Trailer Knight, he is inside everyone of us.
I saw him with free bird in the background so fire 🔥
Hate it or hate it, he is a Breton.
COOL
@@allinonestories9012 Indeed, probably half Nordic and half Breton because usually Bretons are keen to magic thus being born of half high elf, makes sense to me
@@johngaelnox5447 The original Bretons were half Atmoran as well as far as I know.
@@johngaelnox5447dude really? it's obviously a Female full blooded Altmer ... can't u see the build n frame of that body? thats the body of an female Altmer
@@johngaelnox5447The Ascendant Lord is actually a Cyro-Breton, so he’s half Imperial. His Breton blood extends back to when Druids ruled the Systres Archipelago.
He is the incarnation of the first Imperial Guard from Oblivion.
He's probably the Ebony Knight from skyrim.
this guy better become the playerable charecter of elderscrolls 6
He's name is Joe.
Rogan
Joeman.
@@ribbit6845we love you joe joeman

The main characters: we have you surrounded!
The lord ascendant: all I am surrounded by is fear and dead men
"This is the way."
-mysterious trailer knight
Nah the dragonborn just got bored of being a stealth archer, maxed all skills and went back in time to cause mischief.
Atleast thats what my dragonborn would do.
Your Dragonborn doesn't even get to the Cloud District very often.

So you can have maxed out stats and kill Alduin on grandmaster difficulty by lvl 20 in skyrim. 😂😅 skyrim was the most broken elder scrolls game ever made.

My skyrim character: Hold my 50 cheese wheels.
Hes the guy she tells you not to worry about.
Whoever he is is , he’s a badass !
He’s just a very well trained Breton lol
Imperial
@@CreativeUsernameEhbreton
He is champion of cyrodriil smh half imperial breton at most
@@Meteorknite exactly, my statement stands
@@bowsreal7079 Imperial. His model is an Imperial and lorewise he's an Imperial with breton ancestry.
Making him an Imperial was ZoS oh-so-clever way of hiding the fact he was the Ascendant Lord. They wanted to make it obvious, but not that obvious I guess.
When i read the name on this video, my mind went and added "park" so for some stupid reason now he is the "Trailer Park Knight."
Sir Bubbles, Trailer Park Knight, Ascendant Order of Sunnyvale
“I fear no man, but that thing it scares me.”
That's actually some sick lore. Very interesting villain motivation.
"Remember. I only let you stand as tall as I lift my foot off of you."
He’s clearly the main knight from for honor, Warden
The medieval madolorion.
“I am not questioning your powers of observation. I am merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is”
"Someday, love will find you! Break those, chains that bind you!"
You got me singing and my family looked at me like I had three heads
They're literally like: "if you're not going to fight each other, I'll make you fight"
The MC: I’ll be the one to destroy-
This random knight: you dance in the light because I allow it…
that knights fighting style is how i picture my fighting characters
"He is the one who knocks"
So basically, he’s the ESO version of Appolyon from For Honor 🤷🏽♂️
Yh copy paste
Not really. Only in aesthetics.
@@LordMarcussb How is it copy paste lmao
Not really, different goals, similar methods. Appolyon wants perpetual war because she likes war, he wants war to cause enough devastation to overthrow the monarchies.
@@basilhound6720not really even in that, I mean if we wanna make that comment then apollyon was just a carbon copy of every other knight with a helmet before her, which is a long list, being badass with a two handed sword and armor doesn't exactly make you the same as every other character
For some reason when I look at this knight, Sabaton music plays in my head.
the trio: we out number you 3 to 1
knight: you will need 3 body bags in that case \
he is him
He's the embodiment of chaotic neutral
This guy has cosmic chad power
Bro really doing 1 v 3 even bros helmet is too small but destroys every character
So he’s just a straight up menace to society
Ah yes he later evolves into the Ebony Warrior
