- I did some edition in some season which is not 100% from the original theme.
Gabon was re-edited by myself so that all castaways are in their tribes. The official intro in ep1 was not divided into tribes.
The 'closer looke' of Samoa was removed.
Fabio is used instead of Jud in Nicaragua. The official ep 1 intro the name was Jud and in ep 2 Wendy was voted out and cut. - Krátké a kreslené filmy

I'm part of the younger generation and I wasn't even born when Borneo was on TV. I love Survivor though and I've watched about 15 seasons in under a year now. Sadly I was spoiled of a lot of the winners and my country is starting S30 about a month or two from now. Let's hope Jeff is still on the show for a long time and we can have a legends season before some of the old guys become too old.

I miss the full opening themes. Since they've added Redemption Island(and other concepts), they no longer play the full theme. To me, that's what set the mood for the show.

something about the first season. just iconic. but to me of the OG era all stars is the best hands down. mash up of first 7 seasons give me chills hearing that one to this day.
I feel like the 1st season has the most powerful intro, with all the names being introduced, and the music to back it up. I know the second one is similar, but this is the best.
frozenturtle16 The Pearl Islands intro seems the most powerful to me because of all the facial expressions during the names. They are really dramatic and full of emotion, nearly all of them. The music itself is a very epic theme so it lends itself really well to any remix.
Please, bring back the full intro.

The song just inspires you to keep pushing forward, it reminds me everytime of how I have fought for my life to fight against suicide and beat it everytime. The best reality TV show to ever air.
I was a kid, like 12 when s1 came out. I am 36 now. Colleen was a huge success back in the day and modern people forget that. I think colleen could have returned to survivor many times but it did damage to her where she now ignores it completely.

Whenever I hear the intro to Survivor I truly get happy. The type of happy I feel is like a best friend came by to visit me on surprise. This show captivates me and I love it so much!
The first cast was CLASSIC. I was 9 years old when this show came on the air--my mom almost always made me late for my swim practices because of this show--and it was the episode where Gervase was sent home after sharing his pizza that got me hooked!
One of the best adventure's opening themes. One of my favorites is The Australian Outback Theme.

I've grown up with this show, never in my life have I been without it.
When I was born the show had been in the process of planning, when I was six the show was twelve seasons in and I would sneak out to watch it with my mom at night after bedtime, course she couldn't keep me away and eventually it became a weekly thing twice a year. Then when I was nine we would watch every episode on Wednesday night as a family time.
Then this year I just entered high school and I'm still watching it every Wednesday night.
And it's not just that I've grown up watching it.
This show has literally changed how I think compared to that of other people my age.
I've become a survivor fan and survivor in figurative terms because I grew up watching this, parts of my brain that none of my peers have yet to use have already been used for literally my whole life.
The Africa theme always gives me chills, especially the beginning. Nostalgia overload!

Fun fact - the survivor theme song is actually an adaptation of the Russian Folk song called " поеду выйду на улицу "
I haven't heard this theme since the very first season. I remember the finale they preformed the theme live it was so moving it made me cry.
It sucks because they never play the full song in the newer seasons of Survivor. Last season they played the full song for the premiere and finale. This season they haven't played the full song yet.

Survivor: 20 (Heroes vs. Villains) Best Intro, Cast and Season, by far!! Should have had more contestants on there, including, Corinne (Gabon), Shane (Panama), Ami (Vanuatu), Yul (Winner of Cook Islands), Yau Man (Fiji), Natalie (Micronesia), Erik (Micronesia), Jonathan (Cook Islands), Fairplay (Pearl Islands) and/or Danni (Winner of Guatemala).
Being my first season, China's theme absolutely does it for me
I like how Palau still had WW2 remnants and they incorporated the war drums into that theme
Yea I still watch survivor. I don't think this show will ever get old despite some of its repetitiveness in challenges. Other than that, every season is fresh

As I see, Survivor has a lots of fans all around thd World so the producers should take an "international survivor" into the consideration. Like 4 tribes (europeans,africans,asians and austrailans). I would be the first person who would apply :D
Brings back memories of my 7th grade survivor unit/competition. Such good memories. The tention was huge when we were finding out who got voted off. 😊

I hate the fact that the latest seasons are DIMINISHING the duration of the theme. It really makes me so sad. I want the unique theme music and the entire theme BACK.

Not a lot of people like her, but Jerri Manthey's my favourite Survivor in all of the series :D A bit gutted she got 4th in Heroes vs Villians. She could've won.
Yeah she became a lot more well liked in that season. Compared to all stars, where she got booed at the reunion, when she was brought up in heroes vs Villains, people cheered for her.
Pearl Islands will always be the best season

After Nicaragua (S21), I thought the show was gonna die cuz it took a real big dip in entertainment value and viewers. Thank God Caramoan (S26) finally makes it fun again.
That's my favorite one as well. I love Survivor to death and the intro is a big part of it. Too bad that lately they've only been editing it with after effects, no re-singing it or anything. Oh and now they hardly even play it.... :(

Nikki Villemaire I liked Russel, he played the game well, his only issue is that he was too cuthroat. Though he managed to intelligently outplay everyone, everyone hated him when it came time to vote.
+Baxter Rhodes yeah - he forgot that it was a social game. He never really cleaned himself or apologized for being an asshole. He had a legit chance to win both seasons if he had worked over the jury at final tribal council. But he fell flat on his face.

Um, there's this thing called a social game. Russell did not play a great game because he had one of the worst social games in the history of the show, which is exactly why he lost both times.
