My very first deity win was byzantium where I got a relic from a tribal village, got religious settlements and settled ik-kil, and built Stonehenge turn 27. First opponent was the Zulu (is there Any worse civ to take your cavalry against?). Except I was at the edge of a pangaea and had to go hunting 19 tiles away for the first city.
It was super tough to get the first few conversions because they were bordering 3 religions (nubia, Arabia. Brazil). But Basilisk (my religion) finally found it's way to the Zulu and led to an extremely satisfying first deity win.

Hey, boes, fyi there is a mod in civ workshop that allows you to delete districts and I would recommend that for games like this where you are restricted. Also, it does cost too much production to delete them either.
