A lot of my Barry videos seem to be getting taken down, I'll put a link with ALL episodes by the end of the series
Stay tuned for that.
I love that we made it all the way to the finale with James still calling Gene "Eugene" lmao
Eugene, Sarah, and Bill are my favorite characters from this show.
the ending shot of this episode always gives me chills, i really can’t wait to see the horror movie bill hader is working on.
Hank checking the boxes full of heads always makes me chuckle
Dude, you should think about Mr. Robot as a series to potentially cover / react to.
The plot is rich for interpretation, but it is the look, the feel, the vibe is straight up your alley. You would dig it.
absolutely, i hope he hasn't watched it yet
@@littlenegrito2568he said he planned on watching it on the channel
The actress that plays Sally is a phenomenon.
My interpretation of "that scene" was that Sally was having a mental break. The voices were a mix of her traumatic memories and hallucinated fears. Stress, substance abuse, and despair could easily cause her to have an episode of psychosis
Hader has a pretty good apprehension of the reality of Hollywood; corrupt from top to bottom.
I wonder if James will get Sally's name right first try by the end of the series
It's Daniel Day Lewis. That is understandable.
Hey if you come out of hiding for Daniel Day Lewis to play you, I'd be happy and sad for you. Also, that great oner with Fuches and Hank was a mix between GTA V & Coyote and Roadrunner humor.
The last episode but with Sally wasnt her rampaging around the house. It was the guy she choked and got fired locking her in a room and ramming their foundationless house off kilter with a truck. The voice she heard was in her head.
Yo I JUST got off work hoping you were gonna drop these videos when I got the notification. Sad it's ending but it's been a blast watching this show alongside you bro I've learned so much. Can't wait to see you do The Sopranos ngl. Love
that scene with Hank trying to blow up the house is what i'll always show to people who want to know what the Barry show is about 🤣
This show truly is the closest thing to a GTA show we will ever get
I was entertained by this ending, but I feel like the "someone else gets blamed for Barry's wrongdoing" was just retreading old water. That, and the money seemed to be a weird sticking point for Moss. I'm sure they purposely made him act more irrationally, but it felt somewhat out of character.
Agreed, it felt very odd for Moss - the master of psychological warfare and getting into the core of his enemy's minds - to become so COMPLETELY convinced that 1. Barry is just a victim/puppet and 2. Gene is somehow the true villain. Especially since he had BOTH men in his garage, and interrogated them both fully.
It was honestly one of few details of the final season that felt like the writers sacrificed significant character consistency in favor of making a thematic point (about Gene's need to center himself and his own ambition) and having an ironic twist (that Barry once again manages to escape full accountability for his crimes).
@@dlweiss the best way I can understand it is that they were also trying to make a point that Moss' obsession is unhealthy and that's why he did irrational things.
Could you please do a reaction to the movie, ‘71 (dir. Yann Demange) I think you’d really like how it was shot
I'm confused, people don't like this fast forward? I love it, it was amazing
What the ... how can you say these three things in consecutive order:
1) We just had a time skip
2) It's great when they show you "how" the characters become their end form
3) Barry's doing an excellent job
If I'm watching Good Fellas, and then three-quarters of the way in they switch and give me something akin to Tim Burton's Willy Wonka, it's BS. It's trash. It's "I don't know what I'm doing ... so, it must be art." No. Get out of here with that nonsense.
What the ending felt like was one of Bill Hader bombing comedy skits, which only he and a couple of his buddies know the inside joke and find it hysterical, while the reality is, he's simply wasting the audience's time. He did all of this for himself, and not the show, and not the viewers.
You not liking a piece of art does not make it bad. You’re allowed to just not like it for the reasons you said, while other people enjoy it for the exact same reasons.
If you think the final episodes are a tonal shift comparable to going from Goodfellas to Willy Wonka, bc of a time jump, then your media literacy seems highly questionable at best, undermining your point
LOL what an embarrassing comment.
But there are time skips in Goodfellas
Good. Artists should do art for themselves and not for fans, viewership, or studios. I watch Martin Scorsese films because I am a fan of Martin Scorsese, not a fan of myself or the general audience or other fans.
