- A relaxing unboxing with plenty of ASMR triggers throughout (crinkling, tapping, etc.) of the Sony full frame camera gear that I upgraded & switched to, for both channel & wildlife photography / videography purposes. Included in this video are the Sony A7 IV, Sony 24-70mm lens, Sony 200-600mm lens (my first ever zoom lens), a few accessories, and test photos taken over the course of two days.

I work in the camera department at a rental house in LA and I while I was quality checking and cleaning some lenses I thought about what a good asmr video it would make. Then here you are doing exactly that. Can’t wait to see some shots you take. those Sony G master lenses are great!
It’s nice to finally see one of these huge cameras up close and in a lot of detail. It’s amazing how much quality these huge machines can make!!

At 01:07:40 - I love how you can see the shadow of the bird's head and neck, cast onto the back side of the wing that is in the foreground. Stunning!
Put that on a tripod and photograph the moon when it's crescent and aim at the craters for some awesome detailed shots. A tip is to manually lower the exposure so that the image doesn't go too bright.

I was heavy into macro photography back around 2005. Gave it up with the start of a family and CZcams. Now I'm back into birds/wildlife in general. Maybe macro again, who knows, but one thing at a time. Forgot how much I missed this passion.

1:03:35 That is an Osprey. It's a kind of falcon that feeds primarily on fish. I live by the Chesapeake, and I occasionally will see them dive for fish.
Any other unboxing of this stuff would have $10000 in the title for clickbait. This is just a dad who wants pics of chipmunks and I’m fully on board.

I bought my first ever camera (other than basic digital camera) second-hand from my friend with two lenses. I can take ok photos of life and events, and view, but mostly portaits and INSANELY sharp macros 😍 Just in time for cherry blossom, I am so happy. I plan on getting a separate lense for landscapes and to zoom in to see the birds from far away. So far I have felt so happy, energetic and peaceful these two weeks I've been going around photographing nature in spring
I really like these chill, non lore, talking about yourself, something new in your life or otherwise. Really relaxing and allows me to actually just listen instead of wanting to watch for the costumes and lore and such, great work ER

Being a fellow amateur photographer, I did not fall asleep on this one. Serveral of your ASMR vids I have never made it to the end of. You are a world class whisperer sir. Not like those drop dead gorgeous girls who talk too much. You leave spaces. Low noise recordings too, kudos

Oh I love this video and especially the end talking about your test photos with the little mouse clicky sounds throughout. Hope you can do a longer video of that 🤞🏻 showing off your cool photos and perhaps take us through the process of editing the photos

I bought my a7IV a few months ago! Been absolutely loving it. I do more videography but I wanted to have a camera that could shoot “4k60” and still produce high resolution pictures. Having come from a crop sensor a6500 I can still use my apsc lenses for the 4k60 mode! I really think you’re going to love this camera

I was just wondering what equipment you were using so this was really cool to see. I recently got a Panasonic G95 that I use for recording video. I always enjoy your work, definitely one of the best!

@@EphemeralRift The Moon shouldn't be too bad, depending on your tripod. You can also get some amazing long exposure shots of a lot of nebulae for pretty low investment if you're into that.
Drfinitely wish to see another video with just rhe lens and rhe sounds it makes. That clicky button snd the lens cap made amazing sounds. Just need it set down so its easier to do more of it. Oh and rhe reflecrion was great too.

Your an ASMR God
This is great! I never was into Sony (except my Xperia 1 III phone) and am using a Canon R6 for filming - but wow, this looks great!
Absolutely the best camera money can buy for a professional and hobbyist consumer. Sony is a fantastic brand (camera) and the fact that my favorite asmrist is using my favorite camera is pretty badass.
Btw you can buy adapters for the Sony lens mount for other lenses like old canon lenses or even really really old lenses if u wanted to experiment with a more vintage style.
Also be careful while using your 200-600 on a tripod if wind starts to pick up and u don’t have a sandbag for your tripod it will most definitely blow over… I would know but with a much much cheaper setup lol
