Would be great to add another rhd that could make a pair to rival the Sanderson Zub pair for minutes. Internal competition is always the best.
I am the one who messaged you guys about Todd Nelson.... the guy is a winner everywhere he goes.... that's what this team needs. But I fear that our "Best in Class" owner is gonna go... We know Gruden (regardless of the fact his team was mediocre this year) and pick him just because they have history...that would be a big mistake.

The NHL is truly a coaching carousel
Sadly, it could be the gold team elimination watch. Remember Boston collapse last year. We got to be careful. This reminds you back to the Pens. Ottawa beat Pittsburgh by a touchdown and that made them go back to MM. you pay the price for running the score. This could be the same for Toronto. Walsh was the difference last night.
Hard no on Todd Nelson. The Sens NEED an NHL experienced coach. I'm closed minded to these AHL coaches. Sens have been there and done that and not once was it good
Balls... there are guys with NHL experience... DJ Smith is an experienced NHL coach... experienced in losing. Nelson is a winner over and over and over.
@steveking2144 doesn't matter. We need an experienced nhl coach that knows how to win in the nhl. Nothing less.
I thought last season Zub looked scared of the puck so I'm really happy to see he shot more this season than any other (per game played). As a defensive defenseman too, he's still maintaining that 6% shooting pct which is impressive because he's in the same ballpark as our offensive defenseman. 17 goals as the Sens #1 defensive defenseman. I love Zub.
