Instead of like me, I live in Alabama and we dont have any major sports teams. That is why college football is such a BIG DEAL here! There is nothing else for us to root for and go to the games and stuff unless we want to take a 4 hour drive to Atlanta or Nashville.

The tension and stakes for those games had accrued for a few years and the level of play was high. It was an early afternoon game too. As decibels go I’m sure it didn’t break records but in real time I just cannot describe how loud it was. In fact part of the steal itself was because just prior, it was still so loud then that Williams kept looking back at Coach K to hear the play. I’m biased of course, but for a few hours, the earth shook.

the game wasn't at the georgia dome. is was at the Coleman Coliseum which is where Alabama plays. i was at the game and it was so amazing.
