  • Beach Barbeque Blast, aka Australasia - Fun at the Beach, is another expert park in the RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 Wacky Worlds expansion. The objective is to attract 2500 guests by the end of year 5.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 are Theme Park Management Simulation games, created by the legendary Chris Sawyer. In this video, I am playing OpenRCT2, a modded version of the game that introduces some bug fixes, cool new features, and quality of life improvements. If you own RCT2 (or both RCT1 and RCT2), you can play OpenRCT2 as well!
Wacky Worlds is the first of the two expansions RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 recieved, the other being Time Twister.

Would it be possible to occasionally get some carnage in these videos? 😈 Like, maybe after you win, you take off the safeties on a coaster and launch it into some peeps?

Haha that would be hilarious. Some viewers appreciate that I don’t, though, so I’m reluctant to…

@@azungu1190 I dusted off my RCT1 install disc the other week (because of your videos!) and I felt HORRIBLE when a guest perished in the lake while I built my pirate ship. I named the ride Guest Seventy-Three's Revenge in honor of him.

pro camera tip. for the most part sticking to a shutter speed of double your frames per second is a good way to set your shutter speed. there are exceptions if youre aiming for specific effects but for the most part yeah, shutterspeed double the fps and youll be good.

Thanks for the tip! I just gotta figure out my settings to get the best picture quality on manual mode. I think my problem was a faulty picture profile, and too much light, solved by a variable ND filter

60 FPS is not necessary for your live action channel the movements youre recording aren't fast enough to warrant it. I would second the experts opinion, for live action you want 24-30 unless you're filming something like a racecar flying past you.

Good point. My camera can only record 60 fps at 1080p, and its 1080p is soft for some reason, compared to other cameras. 4k 30 fps is probably the way to go

@@azungu1190 Yup for sure it will give the best results for what youre aiming for. Oh also for RCT2 scaling to 1080 I personally wouldn't bother. Record at 720 and export at 720, the video on peoples screens will be the same size youtube will scale it for their resolution. I find with RCT1/2 lower resolution is better as the graphics were designed with 800x600 in mind anyway.
