Lendl won a lot more than the 94 titles he's credited with.
Back in the day there was a split between the regular Grand prix tour as it was known and the WCT tour.
During this period in regards to career titles some tornaments are counted and some aren't.
Even playing less tournaments, Novak seems to go deep and often vie for the title so I won’t be too surprised if he does reach the top here too! Tall task, but he’s been dominant for so long it’s not too far a stretch.
Only 5 players have won 90+ titles:
1. Connors - 109
2. Federer - 103
3. Djokovic - 98
4. Lendl - 94
5. Nadal - 92
I think that would be the final numbers of top5. Not sure Rafa and Novak can pull out one more title
@@TuanAnhPham-rf6id It’s tough enough to win 50+ titles with only 12 players having done that but 90+ is crazy. Nadal with 92 has 15 more titles than McEnroe at 77. I doubt if Nadal can win another title but Djokovic isn’t done yet.
Djoko is concentrating in big tournaments. So it is unlikely he will reach many more tournament wins.
I never doubt Novak level, but I think he is playing enough matches to stay sharp and competitive. For that reason, even winning a 250 tour is too difficult for him not to mention 500 or 1000 tours

Hm, at this point He Had to be Happy to get the 100. And i say that AS a supporter, but sinner and alcaraz getting better and better
One year ago i would have said that he will break it. But time runs fast and right now i don't think he will break the record.
Conners won quite a lot of tournaments which only had a few players in the draw so really he shouldn’t be included. It’s the big three that have all the records.
Poor Nadal , even here Novak is better

@@jr140785 well, I know for sure it must be difficult to be always no 2! Its a competatve sport plus he said it himself .... if you are looking from your perspective of average person that you cant even imagine that world...
