The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.
I find the actors in this series as well as in others, to be great in their portrayal of the real life criminals. Their acting deserve praises. They do an awesome job, very well done.
Yes they make it seem real don't they...well said..
This show was so well made it is still edge of the seat stuff after all these years.
Truly brilliant TV.

I usually listen to fall asleep but I’m freaking out about this family living. Man the episode around the 1:00:00 mark hit me in my feels.
I’m so glad everyone survived, but my heart breaks for the trauma those little babies endured.
I fell asleep during the bank robbery episode and dream t the weirdest dream. The names and places the narrator was speaking made it’s way into my dream. 😂
That happens to me all of the time😂 I love falling asleep to these shows.
Yes, I know what you mean bcuz that happens to me too, especially if I eat food late then fall asleep
Same!! LOL
@@IZRElLO747😊😊
I have done the samething.
Imagine fbi files did a episode covering the Alex Murdaugh case that would be epic ❤
lol these are probably Alex Murdaugh cases.
Anything current events
I saw an Alex M. case, awhile back and it intrigued me I got stuck watching the whole thing, thinking, darn these make bad or sus decisions or have really bad luck and almost felt sorry till it sounded so bad, it was like wow don't these people know most people are not gonna believe a thing you say at this point. And all that was before they actually filed charges on him and he he was found guilty, the heartless bastard!! I didn't watch all that because at this point he's proven how guilty he is of being dumb and and the rest was like shooting fish in a barrel. You tube is on 24/7 in my room and I keep having to switch videos because it's on him about every 5 videos cuz I follow you tube crime shows down the rabbit hole and straight into get a big drink and several snacks were going down and checking out the real monsters of our world lol thank God for good story researchers and story tellers !! Thanks!! Keepem coming!!

I often listen to The FBI Files even though, here in the UK, I have no knowledge of the actual crimes or people involved. A story well told is always interesting.
Well there is that. All that glitters is not gold!
There's plenty in the UK too, or I think there is,
Google it cause I'm betting there's a lot closer to you than you realize, but hopefully not
Rrrrr
I'm the same with British crime shows! I feel like I'm learning some detailed English geography.
And some very fun accents!
That alligator legit killed his role in the first episode. First take too!

I used to watch this show as a kid in the 90's.
Good times. Better times.

Flag of State of Tennessee: “Oops, wrong courtroom. I’ll show myself out”.
You guys don't miss a trick 😂. I never pick up on any of that stuff, but I don't usually watch. I listen while working or going to sleep. Although if I did watch, I probably wouldn't notice anything.

Anyone else stay up way later than they intend to watching this?
How did the medical examiner miss two bullets in someone’s head?
That happens very often in that industry.
The episode mentioned that the ME didn’t preform X-rays during autopsy. Ruled the fire an accident.
Because he was an american examiner who was too occupied eating Mc Donalds- s*itfood that he would miss those even in his own head...
Loved that the EDSA machine worked so well in the last case. That dude was sick.
I miss this show, I remember back in day watching every week. I wish they would come back with new shows done just like this. I've probably seen every one. Awesome show.
The first one was crazy wow.
This show is right up there with "America's Most Wanted" on the list of tv shows they need to brink back. They brought back AMW for six SIX episodes and two of the people they caught were all the way over in SPAIN!
We get this show in the UK and have for years, the quality of acting and the real cop interviews are absolute top drawer !
Keep the files coming. Loving the episodes educational nature and detectives hard work paying off.
Boom shakalaka
Could you imagine if the dead farmer was cremated. Investigators would have not found the bullets that killed the farmer to prove murder instead of accidental
All I gotta say is that I love how that its supposed to be In 86 87 and the van taking human remains is from the mid to late 90s. Great job guys on the accuracy.
I really love how intelligently you all solve crime I wish law enforcement in my country could adopt such intelligence and dedication.
They rarely are this dedicated anymore. Too much crime to even think about keeping up with. Which country are you from?

I freaking love this show. Originally watched their episode on The Unabomber and for some reason like two years later it popped up on my recommended and i remembered this one character i have that's an FBI Agent and i was like "Meh this might be a good thing to watch for writing shit" and I LOVED IT! They need to bring this show back big time.

I love watching 👀 our US 🇺🇸 neighbours, the FBI detective's never giving up until the perpetrators are caught and brought to justice. Crime never wins nor pays 👍👌🇦🇺
Tell it to the maffia....
we're not their neighbours
Tell that to the January 6ers.
This is a similar situation that happened to me and my mom one day 🥺 Thank God we complied and are still alive🙏🙏

CZcams finally got their algorithm to suggest something I'm actually interested in!! I love true crime & I live in South Carolina. I moved here after our in-laws several years ago. We love it here. We live in Murphy Estates. More commonly known as Murphy Village. Contrary to what you may have heard, this is a great place to raise a family. It's very safe. We know our neighbors. We've been in many of their homes & see them at church & family parties. I guarantee you won't find homes more immaculate or kids better looked after. I hope everyone who reads this has a very blessed day. 🍀🍀
ME TOO ❤
Oh wow these are old aren’t they ? I used to watch these all through college they came on from 4 am until 8 am and then it’s was more crime shows .. being in a true crime community it’s crazy to think how forensic files was the very first show of a kind that was on television, and I remember the controversy being that it was showing the killers how to get away with murder, by what kind of forensic work that was going on because back, then nobody knew the terms were the different techniques or materials And tools they had to solve a crime. That was the first time Luminol was ever shown where they had a chemical that they could spray, and even if you cleaned it up, it would still show all the blood splatter, and it would show the bleach where you cleaned it that was amazing to see that. My roommate and I used to watch these shows new detective, forensic files they also would throw in Law and order later in the morning . American justice with Bill Kurtis was always my favorite. Most of these shows all started playing regularly on ID channel but they started on A&E and discovery channel even TLC . Snapped was something started playing and vanished or missing I think I still remember Maura someone Who was studying to be a nurse and was dating a cadet and she is wrecked her car after a night of drinking and she told her professor she wasn’t going to be in school for a little while and she took off and no one’s ever heard from her again and her dad was looking for her every day. I still think about that girl .
❤
Don’t tell people how great it is in MV. You might get neighbors you don’t want! 😂
I wouldn’t be telling people on CZcams where I live in general. Please be cautious.
I passed by Olanta last December. The Chinese place next to the Post Office is highly recommended.
If only Mr. Jeburk had learned to direct his energy and creativity to doing good…
Love your videos. It’s like watching a movie but it is real. My grandson went and watched the movie Cocaine Bear. He said grandma you need to see it. About a true story. I said what happened to the bear. He told me and I said that wasn’t real. I told him I knew the real story and had known for a long time. I had seen the story on FBI files. My grandson was surprised and impressed. His old grandma was one up on him. Lol
A well informed grandma 😁

😊 From one gramma to another your bear story gave me a smile. Aren't grandsons awesome?!
@@annfisher3316 Thank you Ann Fisher. Grandkids are the best meds for depression, anxiety and whatever else bothers you. I absolutely love and adore them to death.
We do have lots of stories. My grandson is in the Navy and I try to keep up on news. I watch stuff about his destroyer and when I talk to him I quiz him. He says Gma you know more about this stuff than I do. You have to stay sharp. Lol

I live in the area the first case happened although i wasn't born at the time. My daddy watched this with me and he remembered when this happened (he would have been a teenager). My grandma worked at the Bishopville prison that Prince was sent to.
So all so real to you and your immediate family., sad.
I would love to had seen an episode about Robert Hanssen !!
THANKU so much, this is the very best true from stories ever on TV.The narrator is spot on,clearly and seriously well spoken
I like the old feel to FBI files.
I can not believe that he almost scaped for 3rd time. Shows how incompetent the jail in SC are
Having worked in a state prison and other high theft security locations , I am always grateful that our security services always placed our safety in the highest priority at all times.
Detective did good job 👍👍👍👍👍
I wsill call out one significant misconception: No 24 hour wait is required to declare somdeone a missing person (at least in most states. If SC has such a requirement, good on the deputy for deciding to pass it by and do the right thing).
It has taken years to change that law and I'm pretty sure it's only in certain states. Back then it was nationwide
It used to be back in the 70s and 80s and even in 90s. Thankfully now it’s changed but this show was made ages ago is so it was probably still practiced at the time it was made.
Our justice system will never ever be accurate
the guy who voice overed this show is the David Attenborough of crime what a voice for narration thanks for the man many years and episodes of outstanding work. As horrific as some of these crimes were i find this so relaxing just listing to it to go to sleep as well as riveting when im watching properly. Thanks for sharing all these episodes with us for free FBI files. By far the best crime shows ever created cant show enough love and appreciation for all the work that went into these
These Shows Always Have Me Glued To The Couch... Love Watching This. Only One Thing Please Make Some New Episodes Please.. Cause I Know I've Seen All 300 EPISODES 😊
Niceee, three more stories from the former head of the FBI's New York office
"New Yock" you mean. Lol! I love these shows.
I’m waiting for an episode that he had worked on. Does it exist?
Fantastic show and Rest in Peace James KALLSTROM. U were truly a DECENT HUMAN BEING, keeping SCUM off the streets, I recognize this even tho Im an Australian and the FBI have no jurisdiction here Down Under, yet recognition is warranted 4 the stellar work the FBI does, not 2 mention the late, great Jim Kallstrom.
Did… fbi did .. now it’s just A political nightmare
Whenever you are thinking of putting pineapple on your pizza just think of the Nu Yok Ahffice. He's coming for you. Eventually.
Life plus 5 years?? So they have to keep him in jail for another 5 years after he dies??!! 😆

Yup
"Was able to break the glass with the butt of his mp5 submachinegun"
The reenactor throwing a whole ass M16 through the window got a giggle out of me. Then again the fixed stock model of Mp5 is only a pound less.
I don't mean to imply any fault on behalf of a victim but I see an awful lot of these murders that could possibly have been prevented by the best security system anyone could have, a dog. It can be nearly any dog, big or small, all they have to do is bark to give you those few extra precious seconds to flee, fight or seek help. In my case I have a 2.5 yr old male German Shepherd in peak fitness who would be eagerly waiting for them to come on in, he's friendly & a great dog but hyper protective of his family & home. His ears are always twitching at every sound outside, I don't see how that kind of security can be replaced by anything. I don't ever want him to have to defend our family & home but I sleep far easier knowing his senses are 10x better than mine & he never stops listening. As I'm typing this he is sound asleep next to me with both ears vertical.
Specifically referring to the first case where the old man was asleep & the turd all sneaky like crept up & shot him.
@@jonhildahl9982you are so right. We had a pit/lab for almost 18 years. He wouldn't harm a flea but I swear he could hear a leaf falling outside. Those ears stayed perked so often idk how he ever got any rest. He's been gone a year and I miss him so much. Best friend I ever had.
I remember case of Larry Eugene Bell. I even remember seeing him on television in a SC courtroom. I was a kid and, remember him saying he wanted to marry Sherri Faye Smith and, he laughed. I was a bit older than his other victim. Back in the 1980's, after Adam Walsh parents were on the alert about their kids.
I remember it all like it was yesterday as well… I’ll never forget Adam Walsh’s Story ever … I tell it to my kids too when they were young
Larry “GENE” Bell as we called him. I remember this well. I was terrified of that man
@@dddddadadad1796 I live in North Carolina and, I was a kid but, I remember seeing him on TV. His laugh, I can understand why he would frighten you!! Those poor girls Sherri Faye and, Deborah Maye. I was slightly older than Deborah. Such evil in this world.
That's how our justice system used to work.
Sad how bad it's become now
It still works mate, is just your brain has been washed by internet and movies

You are talking the informant inside the prison ? What a good catch. I love this show FBI files. Thanks for all the dedication of their job.
Love this show
5:56 I know he's just an actor playing out a scene, but I love that his expression of finding bones looked like someone going, "Yep, those sure are some human bones that someone tried to hide." and not "Oh CRAP! Someone was killed!!"
Hahahahahahaha!
@@mikaelasvensson1590 ❤@@❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤@😊
Yes, the actors and the dramatic descriptions are creative. And the poor soul playing the perpetrator Mr. Bell; the FBI goes to his home and overturns the nasty mattress to discover the father's missing hand gun and a porn magazine!! Now there's some official FBI smarts. It turns out to be the kid's babysitter who lives nearby? And the parents just forgot about him, never checked for their gun after their daughter's abduction? Quel surprise!
“Quel surprise” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Judge should be held responsible for anything that happens after the fugitive ran.
I like how people refer to body parts as "human remains". As if they're the parts that didnt get up and walk away.
Kind of funny how you stated it. I often wonder who decided to call a dead body that. However, it's pretty accurate as you stated. It is the part that didn't get up and walk away. You are witty. I believe that you have a way with words!!!
@@deborahwilliamson5655 thanx lol Its like, "You and these other bones stay here. Me and some other parts are gonna go get lost"
That's kinda a stretch, like it was somewhat chuckle worthy, but you're trying too hard to interpret the words literally for the sake of an otherwise totally half-assed joke
@@Atari2600Gamer I'm not the one that called it "human remains". "Whats left of a human" would have been more accurate.
@@siggyretburns7523 lmfao that's pretty much what the term "human remains" means
The way he was running Jeburk made me think his leg was really hurt😂
Are there still new episodes on the way, or just remixed old uploads?
All the security cameras in the world do no good if the film and equipment are of low quality.
19 years for 10 bank robberies is crazy. He needed be there for life
For a millionaire dude's definitely not too bright to trust someone he only met in a prison environment is literally an amateur mistake a freaking naive school kid would make?
Guy looks just like a cop to me. How could you trust anyone with a ridiculous scheme like that.
This episode underscores the incompetence and ineptitude of our criminal justice system judicial and prisons system. It makes the compelling case for the death penalty, especially for murderers and criminals who cannot be rehabilitated and the need for absolute need for the loss of all legal rights, freedoms, and control by incarcerated murder convicts. Our prison system is a romper room nursery school joke!
Perhaps it's that I am a Minister that I caught a missed opportunity for Larry Gene Bell's confession.
Her soul seems to be what he believed was his trophy of her. Had I been the family's clergy, I would've offered to come to his interrogation & with a few ceremonial items to free her soul.
We all know he didn't really have it, but the fact is HE believed he did. Whether or not he confessed, his reaction to having his trophy taken away would've been very damning evidence.
It’s killers like Larry Gene Bell South Carolina should have never got rid of the electric chair death penalty.
I'M FROM SOUTH AFRICA I ALSO LIKE THE CRIME SERIES, OUR ARE HOPELESS IMO
WOW! I am from Edgefield South Carolina
Great episode of fbi files interesting one.
It’s hilarious how these rich folks always hire someone else to do all their dirtiest deeds.
I like how all of LE is wearing gloves except the Postmaster.
Not our state flag with the judge. Blue with white palmetto in center and white crescent upper left.
Every episode
Police getting nowhere and have no evidence then walk up to someone who had the smallest roll in the crime…
Person of interest- thinking…”I could go to jail?!?!?”
Police- Umm yea you committed a crime
POI- okay I’ll tell you everything!!!
BAM!!! Case solved 🤦😂🤦😂
I remember the larry gene bell time vividly. It was an awful and frightening time for everyone around Lake Murray.
this first case... they ruled a normal death. when the man was shot and he had very obvious business enemies. this is just pure incompetence
is it tho.....?I mean maybe people over there in that part of the country really are dumbies it seems lmao gosh just hearing their accents during the interviews made myself feel like i was losing it!
@Timothy for these people specifically its true, but ive met plenty of scientists with the same accent lol
That’s exactly what I was thinking…I know a .22 doesn’t leave a very large hole, but you’d think the coroner would’ve seen it or at the very least, whoever did the autopsy. For them to say it there didn’t seem to be foul play was just completely ignorant. Bullet holes in his head, house burned down, no gun found on scene….yeah….nothing suspicious at all…😂. Not the first time SLED or SCPD showed complete incompetence; And prob won’t be the last….those small towns are run by a select few in power. Everyone else is a slave to them, and takes the fall….
Probably paid off the original coroner in my opinion.
@@barbaragarb9453 Usually the Sheriff is the medical examiner. Not every state or county has a trained coroner and as for expertise and independent thinking, well, it's possible? Paid off? It's part of the job responsibilities. Seems to be a lot of placing of untrained, uneducated, puppet individuals in higher positions of authority in our country. It's looking like a trend. IMO.
We need this right now. We’re not watching something telling us all these things we we don’t like about everyone and blah blah, pressure everywhere . This is just a good old throwback crime show we all liked because it was us against the actual bad guys. Simpler times. And yes I agree 💯 with this whole comment section…BRING IT BAAAAAACK!! It is a real shame the FBI doesn't do their job anymore!!!!!!!!!!
It’s funny how people think they can get away with anything 😂
in the bank robbery case they say they found a .38 cal. brass, but the guy had a revolver, which means the idiot robbery suspect would have had to remove the spent case from the revolver after the accidental discharge and left it for the FBI to recover.
HALF OF A MILLION DOLLARS AND NOBODY QUESTIONED THIS DEATH ???????????? YES IT WAS BACK in the late 80's but still yet!!!!! That's still crazy !!!:
if the man was killed only a month earlier, why are you showing dry bones that look like they’ve been in the desert for a long time?
Having to re autopsy a body and find bullets in the head! Tells me the doctor that did the first one may have been in on it! At the very least, he should have to pay ..the doctor that is, for the exhume and autopsy. But I'm sure he or she didn't. Good ol' tax payers.
