I think an important mistake was not getting on the fish immediately. The dock is basically a second tc in the beginning. after you get a few ships out you just move all your citizens onto wood and gold and you upgrade the ships when you age up to fish better. Also watch out for early forward builds like that guy was doing it was super obvious when he started building houses right outside your base. Early on you can tech up and get your hero's out to stop the shinanigans
You're right! It's entirely a skill issue 🤣 there's another game on this map that will be uploaded where I build a dock
Also IIRC, the Norse regular infantry also double as their builders so it's really easy for them to get map control by having their armies dump out watchtowers and hill forts everywhere if you let them snowball, especially since their resource drop point is a mobile unit

Can’t turn off the narrator voice. Can anyone tell me how they did this?
If youre talking about the text to speech narrator I too was really pissed at it. Go under settings go to Accessibility tab and scroll all the way down. Theres a section called narrator, just turn off all those options down there.
