I saw Fleetwood Mac in Greensboro NC in 1972. The Eagles were also performing that evening. Best concert I have ever been to. Lol, Joints were being passed throughout the Coliseum, nothing said. Those were the days of great musical talent. I'm 70 now and reflect back to those days often. Keep rocking Fleetwood Mac but I miss Lindsey.
I will always love Fleetwood Mac. First record I ever owned and still have is the double album Fleetwood Mac Live. Thank you to my brother for giving me the gift of Music at Christmas that year. Played it non stop.
I was at this tour in Melbourne Australia and had the pleasure of meeting Mick Fleetwood in a hotel. He is a humble and generous man. I will never forget this tour. It was special to me personally. Saw a number of Fleetwood Mac members in the hotel a truly magical experience.
Stevie and Fleetwood have helped me get through alot in my life. I'm 25 and was raised on the best music ever, my parents gave me that one gift that I can never thank them enough for. Eventually I became a huge fan girl, of stevie in general but Fleetwood as well. I saw them live here in Washington years ago, and I hope and pray I get to see them again. I'm going through a breakup with a man i was with for 8 years, and it took me all this time to really see it for what it was... a toxic manipulated soul sucking 8 year loss. Everytime i start believing he's actually sorry, and I miss his uncomfortable comfort... I turn on Fleetwood mac and remind myself just who I am. "Back to the gypsy that I was" So I'm back to the velvet underground Back to the floor that I love To a room with some lace and paper flowers Back to the gypsy that I was To the gypsy that I was And it all comes down to you Well, you know that it does, well Lightning strikes maybe once, maybe twice Oh and it lights up the night And you see you're a gypsy You see you're a gypsy To the gypsy That remains Her face says freedom With a little fear I have no fear I have only love And if I was a child And the child was enough Enough for me to love Enough to love She is dancing away from you now She was just a wish She was just a wish And her memory is all that is left for you now.... Anyone in an emotionally abusive relationship, remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel ONLY if you are strong enough to make the decision to end it. If you make a decision like that, & you were strong enough... its probably the right one.
Stevie's "Landslide" kept me from committing suicide, so I feel you. I tattooed "Landslide - March 8, 2015" (the date I saw them in concert) on my right wrist so I always look at it. It keeps me going...
Good for you that you're finally out- it is difficult for people who have never experienced a toxic personality (narcissist, socio path, psych path etc) to understand how it can happen. It always happens to healthy, trusting, giving and sane people. Whether or not they ever trust again is determined by a lot of things - probably the biggest most important one being no contact with the X. Even the slightest hint of weakness and they have their foot in the door, at the very least to keep it (their options) open. Another Stevie song on your side is "Smile at You".
The greatest band that ever lived just brought tears in my eyes took my wife to concert for birthday 2006 she loved them her favorite song was tusk She passed away in 2013 every time I hear their song I cry for her just like now To my wife Candy 😘❤️🌺Love John
Very sorry for your loss. No words can ease the pain but music brings us back to times shared in love and harmony. Maybe there’s strength in remembering... I sincerely hope so.
With all very much due respect...Thank you for the music...Thanks for the in the day memories...and most of all for your so very hard earned, dedicated love of music...that gifted us all....
We just saw Lindsey Buckingham live 3 nights ago here in Charlotte NC, and he killed it. Absolutely fabulous show. Lindsey Buckingham was the cornerstone of this band, no matter what anyone says. He added the fire, the tension, the passion, the angst. It's the band's loss. They need him, but from what I saw Sunday night...he didn't need them.
Fleetwood Mac has always been my favorite group 4 yrs there harmony is great and Stevie Nicks what can I say her voice never changes keep singing Stevie
And I can't listen to FM, especially with my favorite singer songwriter musician performer & wonderful guy Neil Finn. I hope Lindsey gets back together with FM so Neil doesn't.
Neil Finn & Mike Campbell are outstanding musicians and songwriters in their own right. The possibilities are endless but from this performance, Stevie Nicks is done.
Fleetwood Mac is wonderful! Whenever I hear one of their songs on the radio, I keep thinking how cool it will be to hear Mike Campbell playing those great guitar riffs! Hope you all have a great tour!
Be grateful that there is still an incarnation of this classic act. In 5 to 10 years, the greater likelihood is that it will be impossible. The last hurrah can't be far away. Good luck to them all, past and present.
If you did or did not like this new Mac..what I found quite refreshing was all the young people in that audience clearly enjoying it and so excited that they got tickets for the tour.
I love Fleetwood Mac, I was a little boy first time when a listen Big Love and then full albumTango In The Night, today 30 years after...they are fabulous. Greetings from Perú
@Wayne Bishop I may be not a Fan of Stevie these Days anymore BUT she is 70 Years old and she aged very well (with a little help). She looks very good and she is not ugly.
Will always love Fleetwood Mac .I watched Lindsay's performance on Jimmy Kimmel and thought it was the same as this.Stevie seems a little lost without Lindsay and I thought same about Lindsay.I think what we r really missing is the magic between these two.Whatever happened ,I don't know Lindsay has never defended himself. I wish them the best of luck and hope that we will get to see that magic again.
I loved Lindsey, but how would have he made this version any better? This song and version is perfect! What is there not to like. Christine and Stevie never looked better!!! I've never seen a better show person then Stevie!!! Does anyone know what year this video was recorded?
Give them some slack!! These are some of the most heartwarming honest and passionate people in the music business. They all walked the edges of the stage like a commando at the front for the last 40+ years. Stevie Nicks is nearly 70 years old, that's the most beautiful 70 yr old I've ever seen. And Mike and Neil are both superb performers and you can just tell that they feel like they belong. It's the same americana, folkish, inner termoil love songs that they played with their bands. When I first saw this I thought ''wow twice the personnel, half the sound'' but you gotta look at the whole picture here. I'd love to see them live after watching both Ellen performances!
Robin Hage give me a break.. at this stage of their life why would they want to replace the most valuable player in the band Lindsey Buckingham.. ...they had to bring in to guys to replace him... Linseys guitar playing and voice are so unique ..and it’s him and Stevie together they create electricity and excitement... it’s over now...
Robert Miller - Stevie is the Queen of Rock, but she doesn’t sound as good as ever IMO. Compare her vocals in the late ‘70s, or even as recently as The Dance, and then to this fiasco.
The woman is 70 years old and counting people give her a freakin break. I think they sound phenomenal for all being lifelong rock stars in their 60’s & 70’s... Fleetwood Mac is timeless, if Lindsey didn’t want to be apart of this tour then as disappointing as that is, IT IS WHAT IT IS. Obviously any fan would prefer him to be there. But any true Mac fan would also be thrilled that they worked in a couple of talented additions and kept it going... at this point they don’t have time on their side. If they were going to tour it needed to happen NOW and they couldn’t wait around for one difficult member. A member who has seemingly always been the difficult one of the group. I’m 25 years old, Fleetwood Mac is my all time favorite band and Stevie Nicks is my all time favorite musician. I’m so pumped to go see them live in March and will remember it for as long as I live. I would give anything to see them in their prime years ago, but that’s not possible so this will do. All this judgmental negativity is so pointless... Pretty soon we won’t even have a Fleetwood Mac at all so just sit back and enjoy the gypsies that remain...
Cote DeRota - Well said! I was a teenager when they became famous, and I share your love for the group and especially for Stevie. She still takes my breath away with her grace, beauty of spirit and soul, incredible voice, and authentic talent.
Lindsey planned to go on tour with them. He was ignored by his band members. He found out from the band’s manager that because of Stevie, he was no longer in the band.
She doesn't deserve a break...she shut Lindsey out and encouraged the band to sue him. Sorry, Stevie, we loved you for decades...you no longer deserve the drama queen status.
Duneedon I’m only fourteen I grew up listening to them through my mum and I recently got back into their music for nostalgia now I listen day in day out.But my mum tells me there was a really good one who left because of drugs in the group
Hey, that's cool -- yeah, if you get the chance, definitely go see them. The new guys in the band (Finn & Campbell) are class acts, and have made their own names for themselves in music, for sure.
mmmmmmmm I love this band but Lindsey really always added such a magic with his brilliant guitar fills and unique voice. it's really unfortunate that someone fired him :/
jonthediscobandit Ok but that's not what she asked. She didn't mention Lindsey (though I, too, miss him) so why blow up on her just to get your frustrations out? If you want to do that, just make a new post. Really easy to do. Simple click of a button.
Well done Neil (my favorite singer/songwriter/musician/performer/most generous to his fans/general good guy) but I don't ever want to hear him with FM/Nicks.
When I heard him playing the guitar on songs like Never Going Back Again or live versions of Big Love I actually had thought it was two guitars until I saw the videos.

One of my favourite Fleetwood Mac tunes…. Love Stevie Nick’s Voice… one of a kind
The song isn't the same without the epic outro guitar solo.
Or Lindsey’s amazing finger-picked guitar fills.
Right !!
I'm pretty sure they had to do an abridged version due to time constraints.
Buckingham is a superior guitarist to both the guitar players up there
Man, I love seeing fellow travelers, true Fleetwood Mac fans all screaming in unison......bring back Lindsey!!!!!!!
So glad my dad showed me them. This is one of my favourite songs by them alongside dreams and seven wonders x
Lindsey is irreplaceable!! He is the Vital Force of FM!
Gypsy is a time machine that can immediately bring you back to the 70's ...
I will always love Fleetwood Mac. First record I ever owned and still have is the double album Fleetwood Mac Live. Thank you to my brother for giving me the gift of Music at Christmas that year. Played it non stop.
Lindsey is such a unique guitarist when he plays it sounds like 2 players at once. His technique is one of a kind
👍
He is not there ?
@@jaymasterscrapper301 Yea that's what I'm saying, and pretty sure they kicked him out a while ago right?
one of my fave Fleetwood songs ❤️❤️
I saw Fleetwood Mac on their last tour of Australia in 2013 . They were bloody brilliant. Every song a classic .
I was at this tour in Melbourne Australia and had the pleasure of meeting Mick Fleetwood in a hotel. He is a humble and generous man. I will never forget this tour. It was special to me personally. Saw a number of Fleetwood Mac members in the hotel a truly magical experience.

"Back to the gypsy that I was"
So I'm back to the velvet underground
Back to the floor that I love
To a room with some lace and paper flowers
Back to the gypsy that I was
To the gypsy that I was
And it all comes down to you
Well, you know that it does, well
Lightning strikes maybe once, maybe twice
Oh and it lights up the night
And you see you're a gypsy
You see you're a gypsy
To the gypsy
That remains
Her face says freedom
With a little fear
I have no fear
I have only love
And if I was a child
And the child was enough
Enough for me to love
Enough to love
She is dancing away from you now
She was just a wish
She was just a wish
And her memory is all that is left for you now....

I'm sorry for your loss, John. She must have been a great lady. Sending you love from Aberdeen, Scotland.

Very sorry for your loss. No words can ease the pain but music brings us back to times shared in love and harmony. Maybe there’s strength in remembering... I sincerely hope so.
God bless you John.

Remember the look of joy on Micks face whenever he played with Mac. Here he looks as if he'd rather be elsewhere. :(
Its just a job to him.
One of those songs you never get tired of, brings back alot of memories. Thanks Ellen!!

Suzie Reinhardt well they don’t need him clearly .
Suzie I agree with you 💯
Timeless and always live performance
Fleetwood Mac has always been my favorite group 4 yrs there harmony is great and Stevie Nicks what can I say her voice never changes keep singing Stevie
LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!
Fleetwood mac n crowded house two of my favorite bands but can't go on without Lindsay music feels soulless
And I can't listen to FM, especially with my favorite singer songwriter musician performer & wonderful guy Neil Finn. I hope Lindsey gets back together with FM so Neil doesn't.
Such an alluring song 💗 Mystical & magic..
I saw FM is 2014 and seeing them in November 2018. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE FM!!!
This is a cure for INSOMNIA
Neil Finn & Mike Campbell are outstanding musicians and songwriters in their own right. The possibilities are endless but from this performance, Stevie Nicks is done.
Just simply the best. I wish I would've seen them in concert.
one of my fave songs of all time!

Love forever Fleetwood Mac 🎤❤️🍂🍁
Love Fleetwood Mac!
My heart!!
My favorite song!!!
Great performance of my favorite song.
so no killer finger-style outro solo. I love Mike, and he's talented as all get-out, but that Lindsey solo is iconic.
If you did or did not like this new Mac..what I found quite refreshing was all the young people in that audience clearly enjoying it and so excited that they got tickets for the tour.
good point.
I love Fleetwood Mac, I was a little boy first time when a listen Big Love and then full albumTango In The Night, today 30 years after...they are fabulous. Greetings from Perú
Awesome live show guys...
A shadow of their past performances of this song.
One of the greatest bands, ever.🤘🤘🤘
I disagree
Not any more sadly.
It’s not FLEETWOOD MAC ANYMORE!
Once
That was fantastic !!
Soooo amazing
This band never gonna die! Love u guys.
@Wayne Bishop I may be not a Fan of Stevie these Days anymore BUT she is 70 Years old and she aged very well (with a little help). She looks very good and she is not ugly.

I love this song
There is no Fleetwood Mac without Stevie Nicks
No outro solo? That was my favorite part of this song
They needed 3 guitarists to replace Lindsey. lol
Funny, but to be fair, the last tour with Buckingham had two extra guitars as well.
And a keyboardist?
hahaah youre right !!
I loved Lindsey, but how would have he made this version any better? This song and version is perfect! What is there not to like. Christine and Stevie never looked better!!! I've never seen a better show person then Stevie!!! Does anyone know what year this video was recorded?
Cause Stevie was acting like a cry baby woman
More please. ❤🌵
soooo beautiful, this is the band of my childhood and family :')

Stevie **IS** 70 yrs old and I'm in total agreement :)
Robin Hage you are a breathe of fresh air!

Stevie Nicks is just so awesome. Still rockin it
i love you, stevie nicks
Excellent! Time for the next tour.
A New Zealander in Fleetwood Mac. Its unheard of !
As if two Americans weren't bad enough! 😁
So proud of Neil Finn from little old New Zealand. He's still the MAN!
Stevie Nicks sounds as good as ever and so does the band. Stevie is the Queen of Rock !!!
Robert Miller - Stevie is the Queen of Rock, but she doesn’t sound as good as ever IMO. Compare her vocals in the late ‘70s, or even as recently as The Dance, and then to this fiasco.
No she doesn't sound as good as ever.
fleetwood mac are so amazing
My favorite
Great !! Sounds good. Very curious towards their show in MSG next March ...
I probably would be thrown out of the audience because I'd be holding up a sign reading "We want Lindsey!"
pure class
I love that group💗

Lindsey planned to go on tour with them. He was ignored by his band members. He found out from the band’s manager that because of Stevie, he was no longer in the band.
Lindsey is no spring chicken either. Does he deserve a break too?
She doesn't deserve a break...she shut Lindsey out and encouraged the band to sue him. Sorry, Stevie, we loved you for decades...you no longer deserve the drama queen status.
Buckingham can play twice as many parts as the other guys in his sleep.
Yeah , Stevie Nicks !
Really love this song
Seriously fantastic ...they have made my life ! ❤❤ New FM brilliant! BIG LOVE
We have tickets in Tampa to see FM in Feb, After watching this I would rather see the tribute band Rumours ATL they are GREAT!
Beautiful
MAGNIFICO
The things I’d do to go see Fleetwood mac😩😩💛truly an amazing band
I'm pretty glad I saw them the last time around, with Lindsey, in 2015. This isn't horrible, but...it's just not the same.
Duneedon I’m only fourteen I grew up listening to them through my mum and I recently got back into their music for nostalgia now I listen day in day out.But my mum tells me there was a really good one who left because of drugs in the group

Love Fleetwood Mac, but it just isn’t the same without Lindsey Buckingham
That’s because it isn’t the same ..
Yeah, it’s better without his toxic behaviour.
It's true but on some songs it's not an issue others yes
This sounds more like the knockoff version without Lindsey Buckingham, as he's one of the top lead guitarists in the world
@@harrietsrhapsody Nobody knows the real issues behind his firing, but in my opinion, Lindsey Buckingham is absolutely irreplaceable
Saw them in Houston 👍. Great show.
I Love It
mmmmmmmm I love this band but Lindsey really always added such a magic with his brilliant guitar fills and unique voice. it's really unfortunate that someone fired him :/
yea well when he physically abuses another
@@dragonboy718 bs.
It’s hard to hear the guitars with the drums turned up so much. Well, it is his band I suppose. I wonder whether Lindsay woulda let that happen?
How could anyone not like this song?
kirsten I tell you who! Me! I disliked it! 1) Because they fired Lindsey, and 2 they skipped his solo. Complete shit without him!
Love the song. This performance though ... 👎👎👎
Oh I love this Song. But this Version was awful !!!
One of my all time favorite songs but for me - this just sounds like a bland cover version.
jonthediscobandit
Ok but that's not what she asked. She didn't mention Lindsey (though I, too, miss him) so why blow up on her just to get your frustrations out? If you want to do that, just make a new post. Really easy to do. Simple click of a button.

I LOVE YOU FLEETWOOD 😍
Fantastic lineup of super cool talent
Take your bow Stevie! Time to bow out!!
GREAT PERFORMANCE!
always nice to hear at anytime of the day, yes everyday
Awesome! Welcome Neil & Mike! Love Stevie! And the Mac! See you at THE FORUM! 💖🤗
Outstanding! Yes, welcome Neil & Mike well said, Teresa Turner, can not wait to see Stevie and the Mac!!
I will be there also
Well done Neill, everything changes and we all move forward, this is a great match, can't wait to hear more!!
Well done Neil (my favorite singer/songwriter/musician/performer/most generous to his fans/general good guy) but I don't ever want to hear him with FM/Nicks.
Drums sounded great. Solid track!
FLETTWOOD MAC kinggggs
stevie nicks is everything that is right with the world
One of my top 5 fave bands..😁
Stevie❤
Lindsey is so good whenever he leaves the band he is replaced by two people.
When I heard him playing the guitar on songs like Never Going Back Again or live versions of Big Love I actually had thought it was two guitars until I saw the videos.
No way. It is not performed like Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey.
Awesome
love Love LOVE ✌️💖 🎶🙏
Awesome band. Fleetwood Mac forever
Stevie is my favourite person in this world
USED to be....no longer.
Mine to. Can I just be her in my next life?
I love it.
You go girlie 70 and rockin
