    Ur wiring looks good but little over kill for what ur runnin but better than not enough

    The gain is to match the input voltage of the amp to the output voltage of the pre amp of the stereo just so you know great video tho

      You are right. I actually use an oscilloscope to find the peak of the radio or pre-amp - once that's set I then use it for the peak gains on the amps. I also leave the sub bass boost on the sub amp at 0. I was trying to keep it simple here. May make another video on how to properly adjust gains, but there are so many out there already :) - thank you for commenting and providing good added info!

      I don't listen to hip hop. I listen to music like Rush, Queensryche, etc.. So, this gets me what I want. One sub would have been enough but I got these practically for free. I just finished replacing the amps with a Focal FDP1.900 and a Focal FDP-4.600v2 which drive the Morels much better. So I would say much better than factory. My cars get driven around 1500 miles a year tops. So for the little time it's driven, I'm content - and in the end that's all that really matters for me. Not trying to wake the neighbors or compete with the younger gen :)
