Sitting on the roof used to happen 30 years ago. That does not happen in India anymore. This is the thing he was trying to say at 25:00.
More than 85% of the railway routes in India are electrified.
Below AC classes are not recommended for foreigners. Also, the toilets are much cleaner in AC classes.

India is really developed and have just gotten better and better over the years, to find loopholes in my proud nation is definitely a task, as it is progressing even though it is home to 1.5 Billion people that is a huge huge number, along with that its home to multiple religions and castes all staying happily and freely on one land, its the land where every individuals hold equal rights and there is no autocratic government rule here, people can completely explore their own interests and build their own legacy with their potential with almost zero interference, yes there are few challenges we face, but we are just growing stronger and faster. I think that the scene of people traveling on roofs of trains is more common in Bangladesh than in India. Or possibly in Pakistan. In India, there are probably lots of train and other travel options available to people despite the largest population in the world. So, even if train travel on rooftop were visible it must've been in an era past.

Lovely couple. You two are very loving and caring. Piege is very sweet girl. She cares like Indian girls, small small things what's actually matters a lot unlike British girl I have seen as of now. They care too but different way. In sort western type of caring and Indian - Bharatya ways are too different . Only those have experienced can understand.

It is prohibited and is unlawful sitting on the roof of the train.
Of course agree but such things happened during British raj in India.
Do visit Bangladesh where such practice is being follow.
In Mumbai the local trains are electric train and if anyone dares to sit then he us inviting his death by himself.
