Jaipur Rickshaw Driver WON'T ACCEPT "NO!" 🇮🇳

- I thought I was safe from scammy, hustler types of rickshaw drivers when I downloaded Ola, an Indian ride hailing app similar to Uber. Then I met this guy.
He didn't ask me for my OTP; the code that the passenger gives to the driver to initiate the ride transaction. Instead he started driving and tried convincing me to hire him for the day for a temple tour. I already had a good plan for how I was going to spend my day so I wasn't interested at all.
He pulled over and (pretended to?) talked to his wife on the phone, then turned around and asked me to cancel the ride on the app. His English was bad so I wasn't sure exactly what was going on. Did he want me to get out? No, it seemed he was still willing to drive me to my destination for the price stated on the app.
I just wanted to get to my destination and was getting a bit annoyed, so fine, I cancelled the ride. I figured he was trying to earn a bit of extra money by cutting out Ola from the transaction and scamming them out of their commission.
That's when he turned the hustling up a notch, thinking he could win me over by letting me drive his tuk-tuk. I was hesitant at first, seeing how crazy the traffic is in India, but it did seem like it would be fun. I still wasn't going to hire him for the day though.

He didn't actually cared about the money. The fact is the passage connecting these two forts is not easy for everyone. He was trying to convince you to take auto instead where he would have guided you better.

He wasn't being scammed. He was offering a reasonable price but he was persistent that he visit all in the rickshaw rather than walk 6.5Kms.
You are right brother the rickshaw driver take money only 105 on cash and 15min videos just driving and just rouming like 6 to 7kms and Just only 105 money this is called scammer, right brother @k1ra202. , if you fine on 105 Rs just take like 15min on this video than .

There is an ancient passage full of steps and slopes that connects both the forts to move goods , soldiers and common people who were lived inside those forts during those days. and walking through that passage is the part of the tour.

Loved that video, where you sneaked into an ancient Fort, using locals. I can imagine how the enemies of that Kingdom would have had to sneak in using those routes, when they had to attack the fort.
As you said, hardly any tourist would have experienced that.
For an adventure like that, I would willingly pay in rupees.
Sometimes, its adventures like these that make these international trips memorable.
