Ive listened to rap for dann near 30 years.... The first time Iistened to that album.... I knew it was a classic capable of standing toe to toe with many of the classics. For years Killer Mike was known as "that guy with that song with Outkast"...How far he's come and his journey has been a lot of fun to watch and experience. BIG UPS
I was introduced to KM on The Whole World with Outkast. That was the first time I heard him and it left a lasting impact on me. Immediately put him on the map for me. Dude is a GOAT. Criminally slept on
That song still gets regular play from me, also, his verse on Never Scared is 🔥
Then he dropped a classic “I pledge allegiance to the grind” that didn’t get the respect it deserved.

The OU debate team took reagan (along with an excerpt of all gold everything from trinidad james) and made that a year long advocacy/heart of their argument.

Scarface stay on a playlist and I don’t listen to much new hip hop. I grew up when hip-hop originated! I seen the transitions. Scarface is timeless , true to the game, & authenticates the art of rap and being a lyricist too. He didn’t have the best grammar, but his delivery, timing, and lyrics ties it all together on a baseline and track.
