The 1st 4 to 5 episodes are world building and learning dynamics between houses and characters... the wheels start turning episode 5- 6 and gets crazy.. pay attention to the dialog.. this is not a show that you can not pay attention or you will not understand things later on. This is a deep show. Nothing like you ever seen.. we are serious when we say this.
The reason why we call y'all sweet summer children is because y'all already think y'all know the characters and y'all don't have a clue! Lol! I'm glad I hung in there with y'all. Y'all are going to be sweet summer children until you aren't. Lol. You're going to know the moment you're no longer sweet summer children. I actually enjoyed this reaction. Arya is my favorite character. Think about back in those times, girls were made to wear dresses and sew and do as they're told. Arya is her own person, she knows what she wants, she wants to be a warrior, use a sword etc. So for Ned to hire Serio (dancing master) to teach her how to properly use her sword is huge & unusual. Remember when Sansa lied about the fight with Joffrey in episode 2, Arya pulled at her calling her a liar, but as soon as Cersei mentioned killing Sansa's wolf Lady, Arya defended her Sister's wolf, lil girl has a lot of honor.
Yes like I've mentioned before the first 4 or 5 episodes drag a bit but only because they are setting the pieces on the board. Conversations might seem boring but listen well to what they talk about, it will fall into place later as the show progresses. You won't see the white walkers a lot at first but you will hear the characters talking about them. The story the old lady was telling Bran is of the first encounter men had with the White walkers, its supposed to be history but its been so long since any has seen the walkers its become a child's scary story instead. I promise you it will get better, more action, betrayals, conflicts, sex and of course gore to come!! Welcome to the new friend, hope to see you all on the next reaction!
As for comments.. you will always have us willing to help you understand a bit and enjoy your reactions and those that think its illegal to watch the show if you don't know about it! They forget we sat when it first aired unknowing, well except for those of Us who did read the books before it was thought to become a show. Once again I enjoyed your reaction! I think y'all should just chill in the comments and let them watch however they're gonna watch. Most clearly seem into it and wanting to follow, but not every reaction is going to be this perfect performance of understanding and emoting all over the place.
Try really hard to remember if you even really understood what was happening or had "epic realizations" really until s3 hit us all?
It's only in real retrospect (and let's be honest discussions, memes, and rewatches) that we've come to understand things more in whole. It's been almost 30 years since the books came out, over 10 since airing and hype began, and 3 since it ended. That's A LOT of reflection time.
It's a journey for everyone and so what if they're cashing in on growing the channel? Let em come to understand things or appreciate the series in time, literally same as we all did? And if not, they tried something different, so cool.
There are so many people who watch GOT reactions that want all of the reactors to be and do the same. Instead of realizing everyone has their own perspective and will pick up different things

Keep up the great work. Y'all are doing so well. It only gets better & better from here on out! I promise you that! As i said before your patience will pay off greatly & you will be rewarded. And i don't say that lightly. This show requires alot of your attention especially to the dialogue. But so far am enjoying how you guys a reacting to this show. Again this is the GOAT TV SHOW out there!!!
Yeah I agree how they talk makes it hard to get into but trust there is a reason why the show was so popular and why everyone was talking about Game of Thrones every week.
Once you get to like Season 2 things get easier.

I was like y’all in the beginning til I got to episode 6 & 7 and was like ohhhh they wildin! I was locked in after that. Btw, episode 9 of every season is BANANAS.

You guys are tracking more than you think, but the dialogue is important. I would definitely recommend reacting to this one closer to the beginning of a marathon recording session, so you're a little fresher. But you're doing well!

Y’all doing alright gentlemen. Ignore the negative comments. Yes, some of u miss certain things but it’s picked up by the rest.
This show makes u pay attention to words, body language and even the very slightest of looks, as yall clearly can see Littlefinger is a bit sus.
And remember, these are the times things are much simpler…
Word is bond. Men fight. Women are arranged in marriage.
And there is magic in this world too. 😊
Season 1 might feel slow but it’s the foundation for so much more. And even if a scene might be a “filler” it is still vital.

Considering this show turns into a dumpster fire in the last two seasons, dont let the fanatics deter y’all from being yourselves. There are great parts to the show but when it’s all said and done, it doesn’t stay great. Stay great young kings.
