I don’t think I read many non-school related books last year, I was too busy. But my fav of last year
was A Clockwork Orange
Happy New Year! My favorite book this year was Fourth Wing! I also really liked Lessons in Chemistry. The adaption was so good!
Fourth Wing was so popular this year. I dont know if I should re-enter my fantasy era to read it?
@AissataAmadou Rebbeca Yarros is a raging Zi0nist please pirate the book if you want to read it and don't promote if you end up liking it.
@iyshaa3014 Rebecca Yarros Is A raging Zi0nist and I think her upcoming book is a problematic military romance set in Afghanistan please even though it's your favourite books don't recommend it
Could you maybe add time stamps so each book is easier to find in your video.
Yes! I meant to but completely forgot with this video!
Some of my fav books of 2024 were: An ember in the Ashes, Jane Eyre, Woman,Eeating , Mexican gothic, My brilliant friend, Bunny and Alone with you in the ether [sorry for the comment spam 🫣]
LOVE AN EMBER IN THE ASHES. You're seriously in for a ride with that series.
Great video 😊
I also loved as long as the lemon trees grow (I started reading it after you reccomnded it)! My favorite book in 2023 is a poetry collection called things you may find hidden in my ear by mosab abu toha. He is a Palestinian author and his poems are very heartbreaking yet reflective to read on. I deflently recommend bc the writing style is accessbile.
I'm glad you enjoyed As Long As the Lemon Trees Grow! Also def adding this poetry collection to my list :)
I like to set my Goodreads goal at 1 book XD
Thank you for these amazing recommendations.
book recommendations: (1) One Pale Summer (2) Things I Never Told (3) Bitter With The Sweet .....(by debra phillips)
Adding a few of these to my 2024 reading list ♥️
Oo can’t believe I didn’t watch this video earlier. I read A Place for Us a few Ramadans ago and I remember it being soo good. Behind two moons is one of the most well-written books I’ve ever read! I had to look up the author and it makes sense that she’s an English teacher. She’s amazing with words. The way it ended though, still upset at the abruptness 🥲
ALATLTG was also in my top 3 and one of my few 5-star reads in 2023.
Off topic, but may I ask where you get your undershirts for layering? Thank you!!
Bravo 👏🏽 30 books
