Thanks Everyone for Watching and your Kind Words! Stay Strong

  • @peter5.056

I'm a dietitian and personal trainer. My clients who take ozempic are losing an ALARMING amount of muscle mass and strength! AVOID!

My hubby's doc prescribed wygoby for him. He's not very over weight, about 20lbs, He said the doc told him "I've prescribed this to many of my patients" At $1,600.00 a shot I told my husband three things: 1. Eat better and exercise. 2. Your doctor is getting kickbacks and 3. Get a new doctor. Hubby cut out sugar, processed foods and dropped 13 pounds already.

We must understand that the pharmaceutical industry is never interested in making us better or healthier.

I have a friend who started Ozempic a couple months ago. She is always sick to her stomach. She lost some weight but now her doctor is telling her she can't stop taking it. She tried to talk me into trying it but I chose fasting and exercise instead. We have both lost the same amount of weight in the same time but I feel great, she doesn't.

I have so much RESPECT for this man... THIS is the character of man that we need in the medical profession and leadership....

Personally, just recently, found out that a nurse I work with is in the hospital. (Ileus) Now has a colostomy and then an infection, still in hospital for 12 days. ALL from Ozempic 💥

Do the ELF diet. Eat Less Food. Nobody makes any money off you if you do this, which is why they'll never recommend it.

I work in a pharmacy, patients pick w their grocery carts full of soda. We are very concerned. No person should be given these meds until they lose 50-100lbs & change their diets.

Dr. Dhand, I am a pharmacist and am so thankful for Drs like you. We see things very much the same way. What ever happened to conversation and debate over differences of opinion in the medical field (and elsewhere). I have seen many BAD aside effects from Ozempic, Saxenda and Wegovy, such as ileus, pancreatitis and muscle wasting that didn’t get better after stopping the drug. Everyone wants a fast fix. I don’t agree with how it’s being pushed…and believe me I tell patients.

Dr. Dhand, you are A REAL DOCTOR who cares for people....thank you!

I was raised in 60s & 70s. My parents fed us well with regular portions, 3 meals a day. We were all healthy not only bc of that but we were outside most of the day. Different times. Thank you Dr.

  • @juliesmoochy3996

I was on this drug for seven months.

In a weird way my new diagnosis with my second autoimmune disorder was a blessing in disguise. I was wanting to go on Ozempic but my liver count was way high. So I started to eat less and reduce my carbs. I am now eating whole foods, lots of protein, no processed foods and hardly any carbs. I have dropped 40 pounds and my liver enzymes dropped like a rock. My autoimmune disorders effects are vastly reduced and I haven’t felt this good in decades.

My mom was on it for a short while as it gave her heart palpitations. The doctors didn't believe her and were mad when she said she wanted to go off of it. But she went off of it anyways and the heart palpitations stopped :-)

  • @nancybryson5488

Dr. Dhand, how is it you are so darned likeable? It must be because you actually care about people. Imagine that!

20 years ago working in the investment community I stated that the pharmaceutical companies were starting to resemble Tobacco companies ... it was uplifting to hear this from an experienced physician.

  • @Grannynan

I took it for diabetes for two years. It was great for my A1c and I lost 40 pounds. Of course, I was usually mildly nauseous and bowel movements were so infrequent I saw my gastroenterologist. He gave me fiber, which made it worse. Last January it became unavailable. Since then I have been on a healthy low carb diet with lots of exercise and my A1c is actually lower than it was while on the drug.

  • @marygrott8095

I've been doing intermittent fasting consistently for almost a month now, along with no having added sugar. In that time, I've lost 7 1/2 pounds! I do not feel hungry when I'm fasting, and i comtrol my portions during my "eatinf window! I think that my results so far are pretty darn good for having made two very minor lifestyle changes! I've always exercised, so the combination of all 3 actions has been working quite well for me. I would not want to lose much more than that in one month's time. I'm going to continue with this natural way of losing weight.
