    You said you had to losen something in order to level the running boards. What did you loosen? It would have good to see what you loosened and how leveled the running board. Thank 😊 you for the video it was really great!

      Just leave the brackets loose during whole install, then tighten everything the rest of the way at the end while making sure everything is level. Glad you found it helpful!

      Motoroso I will. 😁 my next mod is some air bags in the back. Do you sell those?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso  Před 5 lety

      @@4N2IN0JA We sure do! They are split between our "Helper Spring" and "Air Suspension" categories. Here's the link to Helper Springs: www.motoroso.com/c/automotive-suspension-helper-springs. We also have live chat agents to help with anything you need, so always feel free to message us there and we'll help you find your options!
      Decision there will be whether you want one with a simple valve at the back and you add/remove air pressure, or if you want an onboard compressor and a control from inside the cab of the truck so you can just press a button.
      This Firestone ride-rite kit is a simple one, easy to install, gets the job done, under $350: www.motoroso.com/p/191859-firestone-ride-rite-2407-ride-rite-air-helper-spring-kit-fits-05-17-tacoma-2
      Then if you want an onboard compressor version, you'd buy these two together (~$625 total):
      Air bags: www.motoroso.com/p/35025-air-lift-59564-ride-control-kit-fits-05-17-tacoma
      Compressor and controller kit: www.motoroso.com/p/5514-air-lift-25812-load-controller-ii-on-board-air-compressor-control-system
      We have literally dozens more options, but that gives you an idea. We're gonna be doing a load leveling install video in early April, so subscribe to the channel to make sure you see that when it comes out.
      Hope that's helpful!

    You think the grease will stay there on the bolts and brackets longer than a season?

  • @sheddski2942
    @sheddski2942 Před 4 lety

    Any issues if you have front mud gaurds there is another video on Weston bars same as those where he had to trim the plastic cover pieces and the front hit the mudguards he was going to remove them or push them forward ?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso  Před 4 lety

      sheddski we had no problem with the mud guards at all. Probably because of the style, they taper in earlier than some other styles. We did recently install a lift kit and the 33” tires didn’t work with the mud guards in the front so they had to come off.

    • @sheddski2942
      @sheddski2942 Před 4 lety

      I found out those don’t fit Tacoma with mudguards

    I'm out. The weld on that first bracket you showed was horrible!

    Is the grease essential?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso  Před 3 lety

      Not really, but it’s a good practice.

    those are some ugly welds on those brackets. noticeable porosity in the welds

      I immediately thought the same thing especially at the price.
