tried this game went on insane mode got to round 70 then pressed quit to realize that it has no save points. over all a great experience

u should have gotten maxed out monkey till then, so it's not much fun later, unless you like to try out all of the classes and shred trough even more bloons lul
for me the most fun round was about 36~ don't remember wich one, but it had regrowing bloons, which were splitting into more regrowing bloons, so until I realized, there were ton of these and I didn't actually pop them, but made even more of them instead. Had to buy regrowing stopper and then spend like 10-20 minutes just shredding trough them with supermonkey, made about 40k money this single round xd

This is an amazing concept that could be a really great game if it was fully realized. It needs a lot of tweaking but the bones are strong.

I was really confused about the whole “Buckshot” thing. I guess he just saw the name under it and thought “Buckshot,” or he accidentally got Hydra instead and didn’t realize.

EasySpeezy, I was able to get a 18:11 time on easy by using a no-econ boomerang->lightsaber strat, with a tech switch to max damage snipers at wave 39.
Boomerangs are cheap to upgrade (so, no econ needed), and hit 3 balloons on the way their and 3 balloons on the way back. If you can align the return strikes, it means about double the DPS of other weapons and they've got early damage upgrades which increase AOE, power, and balloon strikethrough. By skipping econ and finishing upgrades early, you're no longer tied to the banana tree and can pick more optimal spots for aligning shots and corralling balloons. The tech switch at the end allows you to pop carrier balloons without letting them drop secondary balloons (although this does mean you can never get the flyer, as he'll pop them and drop the contents).
Please try this strat out and let me know what you think.

Well Btd6 is a game where you can literally buy the God of the sun itself with an annihilating machine and Batman who fuse into a Dark Vengeful ultra powerful God itself to destroy balloons, and that is a resume of how to get 1 tower

Actually DG is my favorite in BTD (in online at least). He has camo detection from the start, is pretty cheap, and only one can easily mow down lots of yellows almost from the start. Also it isn't being guided by an AI, it is being guided by you, a human.

I absolutely love this channel, I think it's hilarious though how someone who makes a living as a speedrunner manages to reset, misclick, or otherwise screw up the timer so often

So i decided to try this game, and I love how you are just like, "I guess i'll buy the regrow blocker but i don't think we really need it". Because when I tried it, and I hit level 31 on easy i didn't have that yet as i was focused on "more important" upgrades, thing were going good until i looked up and realized that the ENTIRE ISLAND was full of balloons.
you got really lucky here. see, round 31 is when the zebra heart balloons start showing up. and as you know, when you pop zebra balloons it spawns multiple black or white balloons, which they each spawn several pink balloons. but here those are all heart balloons. which then regrow untill they reach back to zebras.
so for example, one black breaks into say 2 pink balloons, which then can become 2 black balloons, which can be popped into 4 pinks, becoming 4 blacks, then 8 pinks. and these are zebras which can become 4 black/white ones.
if you don't destroy them fast enough at the start of the round, they can hit a tipping point where you literally can not destroy enough of them fast enough. and the flying ace makes it worse because it doesn't target groups balloons and hammers them till they are nothing, it randomly fires around the map. so if you have a ton of zebra heart balloons.....
i was actually able to fully upgrade my rocket launcher AND buy the regrow blocker but it was too late, there were just too many. and the second time it happened to me it was even worse. lol
regrow blocker is literally the most important upgrade as you can beat the entire game without buying anything else, but not having RB can end you, (and even crash your comp)
I’m so glad I saw this video, what an awesome game I’m gonna have to check into this when I get my pc back up and running😁

For anyone who just wants to play this casually, you can purposefully hold off on regrow blocker and start a huge regrow farm, then purchase regrow blocker. It will turn all the regrows to regular and you will get money for popping them. I think 48 has regrow rainbows, I ended up making around 200,000 that round from that, just make sure you have really good grouped popping power, maybe like hydra rocket pods or boomerang.
The dartling gunner is probably one of my favorite monkeys on BTD6. Also one of the best.
I have a game im currently on where im at round 151 and have almost 60 dartling gunners on the map. They are max upgraded to plasma accelerator as i dont have ray of doom unlocked yet but they still absoutlely shred balloons especially DDTs. I also have a few of the dark nights/champions on the map surrounded by 5 call to arms abilities with 9 bannana farms maxxed out to the highet upgrades i have unlocked. The wizard monkey also does some serious damage with its fire breath and wizard lord phoenix attacks. Ive only had BTD6 for about 2 weeks now so i havent quite unlocked all the abilities for all the monkeys and what not but the dartling gunner monkey has been my main line of defense against large amounts of ballons. 50 of them literally becomes a controllable almost impenetrable wall. The balloons are hardly making it onto the map at round 151 could probably get much further than 151 if i can get them upgraded to ray of doom. The only balloons that really push into the map are the BADs but even those arent lasting very long.

Reminder that in the upgrade menu, the names are placed above the corresponding icons, not below, and therefore, you didn't get buck shot, you actually got hydra rocket pods
Actually the Dartling gunner is one of the best monkeys in the game. He has a lock thing where he can lock on to a certain spot and he shoots only at that lock. Putting the monkey on a long path and locking it so it shoots along the path is super overpowered.

Cool fun fact, in btd5 Dartling monkey was one of the best towers, because with a few upgrades to starting cash, you can place it round one, and it can carry you for most of the game

First time I played it I tried it on hard. After round 47 you NEED the regrow blocker, because on 48 they keept spawning and spawning until there was literally no space left for me to be safe, I had to jump on them.
COD would shamelessly steal this idea and remodel the bloons as “zombies”

This game is really cool. More maps and such would be extremely rad. Like maps with vertical terrain.
When NENA said "99 red balloons", the chimps took it personally.
The German (and original) version talks about a story where the GDR (Socialist East-Germany) didn't know what the balloons (let go over the Berlin Wall) were, so scrambled fighter planes to intercept these UFOs. Upon reaching them, the fighters realised they were just balloons and shot at them for a laugh.
So, the 99 balloons were popped with bullets anyway.
(not really relevant, but the song then talks about how the BRD (capitalist West-Germany) didn't quite grasp what was happening, felt like they were being teased and affronted, took it as a show of strength and declared war, which eventually resulted in nuclear war. Its a really thought provoking song. My one question is why the hell did Nena think 2 funky slap bass interludes were a good idea?)

my fav strat is to stand right at 1 spawning poin and shoott hrough it to the next spawning spot to mow down 2 spawning points at the same time and i do that till the bloons from the other spawn points are grouped up next to me then mow them down ... rins and repeat
