Was anything else needed to lower the front end other than the I beam?. Can I get away with buying a lowered I beam and using all other stock parts from my 1930 ford coupe??? Thank you
Oh yeah you would not do that at home it would take like a big 50 ton jack and the shops that did it had a big const building I beam to anchor the beam too that 50 ton jack would bend that beam like nothing . Anyway that's what I read on forums that the twin I beams were not to be heated and bent but if they do it then more power to them I'm not riding on them so hey 👍
Funny ...I wonder if it broke from what I read the beams are forged if you heat em up like that and bend em you just ruined the strength of the beam they need to be bent cold ...
