If Ann Reinking winked at me the way she winked at Rosie, I’d cry.
Can we just talk about how much Ann Reinking actually looks like a ventriloquist dummy when she does that number!?! Her moverme RD and facial expressions are incredible!!!! RIP, amazing lady!!!!
She choreographed the revival.
Genius moves!!!
She won a Tony for her choreography.
She’s incredible. Too bad she wasn’t eligible for the acting Tony.
She was amazing !!
I’m sad & heartbroken that Ann passed away almost a year ago. She’s one of my favorite Broadway musical idol divas ever! I’m like this just typing this comment 😪. Ever since I saw her in the movie version of Annie, she inspired me to be a singer, actress & dancer. I hope that I will get my chance to shine on the Broadway stage like Ann. RIP Ann 😪🙏
The vibe between a host and guest is completely different when the host is really a fan of those actors and not faking it.
I wish Rosie still had this bubbling fawning personality and then do her show again. It was one of the best daytime talk shows.
There will never be another like Ann Reinking. Queen 👑🩷👏
1. Ann Reinking- Obviously… nothing else to be said. Truly an American treasure
2. The Mary Sunshine’s killer voice
3. Leigh Zimmerman- that’s it!
I love the long "the" in "They both reached for the gun". Just amazing
I've always loved James Naughton as an actor and a singer - but can we discuss how well he moves??? Who knew?? Now I love him even more!
RIP Miss Reinking. Truly, truly missed. Age 71, gone way too soon. 🕊
I love the story Rosie recounts when in her teens meeting Ann Reinking at a NYC diner.
James Naughton is gold!
Saw this with Ann so amazing rip sweet lady
R.I.P. Ann Reinking!!!
Ann Reinking would have been 48 I can't believe how good she looked
She was so young :(
48 is not old.
“And we’ll be Right back with Kelly Preston.”Bless her..R. I. P.....another angel we lost in 2020...
OMG this is buried treasure. ❤ Thank you for posting.
....his VOICE....her...LEGS...
I love the "oh yes oh yes oh yes" in this performance XD
Wow! I love this performance, even though it is just the house band and a constricted stage. The interview is very nice, and the story at 4:39 is one of the great "only in NYC/Broadway" stories
재즈의 매력이 바로 이런거라고 봄 정박이 아니라 원하는대로 박자 늘렸다 줄였다하면서 부르는데 이상하게 딱딱 맞고 미칠듯이 쫄깃하고 긴장감있는 이 맛....
Rip Anne reinking
Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
KILLER CAST!!!! Fabulous!! 🔥 🤩 😻
RIP Ann Reinking
Fly on Roxie
Such a cynical number. No wonder this has beaten a chorusline as the longest running American musical in history. This story of fame and media corruption still resounds today, never mind the when it debuted in 1976.
love seeing mom
Love the french fry STORY. Love Anie. Love love love.
G E N I U S ! !
역시 옛날거라서 느낌이 멋있는데 진짜 많이 뮤지컬계가 발전한 느낌이 든다
근데 록시 왜케 김주영쌤같지..?
오리지날 록시... 리얼 오리지널이다ㅠㅠ
my girls. thanks. rip. masks & marfans are mahvilous!
what is love
How did I not know Rosie was gay
Sooooo gayyyy lol 💜
Didn’t Rosie give Tom selleck crap for some gun violence on tv
Oh,I think Mr.Selleck,over reacted,quite honestly.
She was acting more like a robot than a puppet
🙄
The best Roxie is Bianca Marroquín.
Ok you teach her in heaven
Back when Rosie was normal 😂
If you’re version of “normal” is before she could come out as a lesbian and be herself, I feel very very sorry for your hateful and superficial version of the world.
This was probably the worst performance of it I've seen. Weird movements from Roxie that feels acted as opposed to real puppet movements, no real puppet voice, etc. Sorry, just wasn't a good performance.
It’s not supposed to be real????
@@Anime_theatre_lover Watch the korean version of it. Then you'll get it. Amazing voice, choreography, actual ventriloquism.
The movie was so much better than the show in every way, but this is still my least favorite part.
The movie could have been great. But the editing and cinematography left a lot to be desired. So did the casting of Gere and especially Renee. Having said that, this number and Cell Block Tango were conceived well on screen. Also, of course, scenes are gonna come off more polished on screen than on stage, especially a talk show.
I know it was a play, but Reinking overdid it a bit.
No. She choreographed a Vaudevillian ventriloquist dummy to absolute perfection.
