omg - when she first walks on- what a figure she presents. and if you think it's easy to walk gracefully in heels - with nothing flouncy - and you're tall - she is amazing!!!
I'm American and they sound pretty American to me. Maybe not "Chicago" regional per se but very American in a broad sort of way. I didn't think the "Hamilton" cast was a successful but it's an older, more polished cast in "Chicago" and Ruthie Henshall can do just about anything.
@@chocolatesouljah I'm an American and the thing that jumped out at me was Ute Lemper's "all that jezz". Otherwise okay accent wise. At least they didn't overdo it the way some do, and mix up different American accents!
it's easy to love Ruthie when you see her perform.... she is always AMAZING!!

Samatha Barks,Catherine Zeta Jones both performed in versions of Chicago.
Ruthies my aunt lol
I saw both these ladies in Chicago and although I loved it, it wasn't a patch on the broadway show. The choreography let this version down a bit.
I didn't recognize that Roxie song. "Sticking Together?" Was it cut after this run?
It's Me and My Baby
The way Lemper says "JAZZ" : does that have to to with the britisch phonetic ? Because it is really strange ....
Nobody matches Gwen's, the originator, performance

I got to see these two in London. Amazing. Now it seems like you could win a role in Chicago in a lucky dip. Some truly awful casting in recent years.
why are their accents so british they could of least tried to do a chicago accent in ruins the songs
They are all doing American accents, so...
