One day, I was out with some friends, and we were at this creek, and there were no people there. All of the sudden, a saw a man out of the corner of my eye, and then he was gone. I really don’t know what to think of that encounter, but it has recently become more of a regular thing for me. (Seeing shadow figures, and people who aren’t there.)

Since I was a child I have had vivid dreams, i also developed amxiety towards death when i was about 4, i would imagine we die and become a presence watching the world, unable to move till whole eternity, till now this frightnens me. I also listened to sounds and steps inside my house. As a young adult i had seen many spirits, some good some bad, some followed me to the point of exhaustion, i had tried to make them go and leave me alone. They finally did, i still have presence of the sometimes, they also come in my dreams, i know because when i dream of them they tell me things, i tried to read the cards for some friends and it went 100% correct, i know im a medium, i just dont want to do it, for several years it was exhausting

This is me exactly down to every single detail. They all started when I was about 6yrs old and now I'm 36 and they're getting so strong. I don't understand my powers an I'm trying to learn but I have no clue how to go about it all. I just know I know alot of things, been alot of places before, and spirits come on and off to me non stop especially between the hours of 1am-5am. Me too! I have NOBODY to talk to about this or help me with this at all, except for the spirit world & even then it's really hard to believe sometimes. This is me too! EVERYTHING! Mine started when I was 11 yrs, I'm 53 yrs old now 3 days after my mom died. I saw, heard & felt her. Terrified me. I let my spirit guides guide me to the right books, videos, even songs as funny as that sounds. Automatic writing, visions, voices, it happens all the time. Wakes me up at all hours in the night. So, I've never thought of myself as a psychic at all, but everything you've listed I nodded too. 😂 I have to admit, at first when I started seeing shadows and visions, I was going through a massive mental breakdown and I always thought that what I saw, felt, and could even hear sometimes, was just my mental disorder reminding me it was there. I decided to watch this video, because it popped up after I watched three videos debunking the paranormal, and I wanted to try my hand at this sort of thing. Yes, I might be an angsty teen, with a whole lotta issues and baggage, but I want things in life too, and as someone who wants to continue their career in science, I like talking about it. And so, I will try to debunk this video as much as I can.
First problem I noticed, was already at 0:20. Pretty fast, right? But, it has to do with something you said was a fact. Because you said that, and I quote, "We are energy" with "We" meaning all humans, as I understood you. The problem with that is that... no. We are in no true capacity energy. Yes, energy might fuel us, and allow us to live and exist, but we are made of matter. Not of energy. And if you are talking bout the soul, or the mind, or any of that stuff, then please don't spread such misinformation. There is no scientific confirmation that either the soul or the mind truly exist. The only proof we can use, is that we are indeed thinking, dreaming, and otherwise experiencing life. But that doesn't confirm anything about either the soul, or the mind as a being separate from our bodies. And in all honesty, I don't believe that souls exist. Yes, I do want them to exist, but believing is different from hoping, isn't it?
I wanted to mention another problem before this one, but decided that my explanation on souls works for it too, so I'm going straight for the next thing. Namely, the "Detecting lies" as an ability possessed by psychics. You see, the truth behind detecting lies, is that you don't think like others. In fact, you never did. And so, because of how you were treated for your difference in thinking, you naturally learned how to find signs in people. Signs in the way they act, the way they speak, the way they walk, all that stuff. These signs show to you what a person is thinking, when a person is lying, when a person is trying to hide something. Now, I'm not talking only about being neurodivergent, which I myself am, but also about being queer. Queer in any way. Be it gay, lesbian, bi, trans, ace, aro, anything. Queer means different. And that's what people are when compared to straight and cis people. And so, if there is any sort of deviancy from the norm in a person, one that isn't accepted, even a little bit, then the person in question learns how to live with it while hiding it. And I am that difference. In more ways than one. And I learned from it how to read a persons behaviour, in order to detect their emotions, as well as their lies.
Now, the next point here is.... Huh. It's deja-vu. Now, it's the experience of feeling as if something was repeating. But in truth, people experience it daily. Last time I had a moment of deja-vu was probably around two or three months ago, in fact. But it's simply a set of coincidences that align themselves, and your brain, which naturally sees patterns and connections, sees it as a repeating event, therefore creating the sense of deja-vu.
Well, that one was easy. What's the next one? Oh. Oh no. This is gonna get me killed, isn't it? Oh well. I lived a good life. Maybe not that good, but who cares, right? Anyway, I understand fully that some people believe heavily into the paranormal, and dreams have a significant place in their beliefs. However, to clear something up, dreams are completely non-sensical, and unrelated to the real world. The only things that influence them, are your own thoughts. If you have a lot of dreams, and think about what you will do tomorrow, your brain will naturally put that as an important medium-term memory. And your dreams, which are actually just your brains storing information while reviewing and sorting it, will reflect that memory.
The next one, intuition. The correct way of calling that is actually predictive thinking. It's a skill that our brains evolved for us to gain the passive ability of predicting where something will fall, where an animal will go, and things like that. People say that their intuition might be bad, but in truth, they are just untrained in predictive thinking.
The one after that is... Okay, really? "Reading off of someone's emotions"? That's just called being able to read the room. If someone is angry, they act a certain way, and you pick up on that. That's the most understanding of it you need. You can guess the other things yourself easily.
Okay, then we have... Paranormal experiences? Really? I myself have had none which I could not explain at that time, but could explain now if I want to easily. Something fell down behind me, spooking me a little? It just fell, or I could've knocked it over. A light suddenly started flickering? That's a sign that the lightbulb needs to be changed. There is nothing truly paranormal about most things. Now, what about ghost sightings? That's called "apparitions" and they appear when the brain decides to fill in gaps in eyesight, such as between your eyes, or when something is blurred from moving too fast. What if someone was thrown across the room by a ghost? Most likely fake, because there have been steadily decreasing experiences of such when there was a recording device nearby, and no such events when the device was actually recording.
"Always felt different" or "Always felt the difference between other people and I". Those are words that neurodivergent people, queer people, and lastly also the "not like other girls" people would use when describing their early life. And it's quite annoying when people are saying that just to brag about themselves.
Telepathy, huh? Do you mean the voices that someone might hear without them being said? Those are actually just regular auditory hallucinations, which almost everyone experiences.
Clairvoyance is... a complicated thing. It's partially your brain passively predicting future events, partially you being tired, or other things. But mostly, it's a fluke. A lie. If anyone tells you that they have clairvoyance, don't believe them.
Being able to "sense ghosts" is actually a sixth sense that all humans have, allowing them to "sense" when someone or something is staring at them, stalking them. The problem? If you are feeling it when you are alone, check everything. It might be a camera hidden somewhere, or a stalker behind your window. Be safe, be careful.
The last one, the one I cannot name for the love of all that is unholy, is the same as just picking up on someone's emotions, even if they are being hidden. Your brain naturally searches for patterns, and if it sees similarities in two places, where one is known by it as a bad place, you start feeling as if that place is also bad.
I hope this cleared some head up, and that I didn't hurt anyone's feelings.
But remember, the truth is often stranger than fiction, so question everything.

I had that i remember i dreamed that i worked on new site and met new people and after 2 weeks i started new site to build houses and i realize in my head that i been here before
I really believe I have some abilities and I don't know who to talk to I want to enhance them, I have seen spirits and feel them around me, I know most just don't want to feel alone and just like to know someone knows they are there. I grew up in a Stockholm situation so my intuition is off and I have a lot of trouble believing in myself, I almost feel embarrassed to bring up my abilities to people, I see auras even around trees but I can't quite interpret what they mean. Late 2019 the atmosphere changed for me the trees seemed less happy the universal vibe felt off ominous almost but I ignored it then coved happened and I can only guess that the universe was sensing that or something...... coincidence? Maybe but I've never felt like that before. Anyway I'm really trying to look in to finding more people to talk to so I don't feel so alone and so I learn to trust myself. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you so much for sharing with me your experience regarding your abilities and gifts. Your courage is inspirational. I have definitely been there and have felt alone when navigating my gifts; especially during the beginning of my journey. You are definitely not alone! My suggestion would be to explore, go within and enjoy.
1. Explore through learning from other mediums, psychics and gifted souls; especially through books or videos. When doing so, write down what spoke to you or any insights you received. There is so much information and it’s best to take it all for a gain of salt & reflect on what spoke to you to build that trust within. A good medium I follow who also has great books is Kyle Gray. There are also many Facebook groups that provide a community but I suggest to do some research on the group to see if that fits best with what you’re looking for.
2. Go within daily-through meditation, nature walks and even yoga! It’s important to clear your energy daily because sometimes we can take on so much energy from others and as you know, some of that energy you sense may not benefit you. A trusted gifted friend of mine gave me the advice to take a break from the spiritual realm from time to time and to be cautious of the energy I surround myself with or take on. If you do tarot, that’s especially the case as it can actually cloud your intuition if it’s over done. As you journey and find your tribe, this will come in handy.
3. Enjoy your gifts! I personally love to write down any insights or signs I received for the day. I try to stay in the positive when it comes to that and if I feel a little off, I practice setting a positive intention, letting go and asking the universe to bring me what I can handle for the day. This part takes practice as I use to question my abilities but now, when something feels good or blissful, then I know I’m on the right track. If fear comes up, then I’ll feel resistance which means I’m not in alignment. A good way to distinguish between intuition and fear can be done through opening your heart space and practicing self love.
When it comes to finding people to talk to about your gifts. I’ve learned to give that over to the universe. FB communities or IG have great but I’ve taken precaution and found some great people on there. The best interactions I’ve had about my gifts have been when I meet people along the way and I end up helping them out instead! Not all will understand but the more we enjoy and let go, the more we attract the right circumstances or people. Keep on going and I believe you will find your tribe. I seem to have Psychic abilities, but it's not all the time. I can feel the Energy during that time within myself. I have always felt that I was different from the rest of my family, I've had pets that had to be put down, and now they come to visit me in my home. I long to feel my father or mother's energies, And I am sure that either of them have visited me in my sleep. I haven't been able to experience the presence of a departed family member.

I went to a live medium show last night. I'm a people watcher so I was looking through the people seated. I spotted 2 people I wish I could read if I was psychic. I had some stuff happen when 13. I predicted cancer in 2 dogs by smell and predicted my aunt getting injured. I aged out of most of the abilities I had. Anyways, the medium picked the same 2 people out of the crowd that I was watching. Their energy was very strong, I could feel the hurt from aisles away.
I've always wondered if I do have a gift. I have see things corner of my eye, I was working at a retail store and I could feel like something was there and in my mind I was like, "I can't help you right now." I was working early hours shifts. After my dog died in 2021, I saw her walking in the kitchen. My parents place in 2005 around in there. I had a bowl of popcorn on the desk and few mins later - it was nocked over. I saw a dark figure on the left side of the room. I don't know who it was or why it wanted my attention. My heart sure was beating fast. I do get these dreams of people (I have no clue who they are) sometimes and where I can't go back to sleep. In 2006, I was getting ready for bed and I heard a female voice saying, "Good-bye." I had to respond. My grandma and I were close. My mom got the call next morning and grandma died. Yesterday I was walking my dog (I rescued last year), and notices this blonde dog by a car and I looked over and it was gone. Oh, I just found my birth dad side of the family and sounds like they do experience the same thing. They told me don't be scared. I guess, I got their trait.
My weird paranormal experience happens at a Christian summer camp. I was walking back to my cabin in the evening and saw a shadow walking towards the gate then pausing. As I watched them for a few mins. I felt like I needed to go closer. (I didn't end up doing it so I wouldn't get in troubble) When I turned away and walked up a staircase (just for a few seconds) to go to my cabin when I looked back it was gone. (Thats what I thought at the moment anyway.) But as I looked around again I saw it at the gate. No human would be able to get to the gate that fast. I was confused. I thought it might have been a spirit, but got a few people from my cabin to look. One of them saw the shadow/willow are of the person but the others did not.
hello @user, I just asked my guides about this vision as I am a practicing medium part time and they said it was a discrnate spirit that wanted you to see them and a good spirit. They were there to be noticed by someone else , but you saw them first and so they showed themself to you a bit more to be more open. The Deja vu is true, I used to have feel it almost everyday, and I sometimes have vivid dream, but I feel like that might be a mental thing idk
I have experienced these things since I was a child. I have always been
different, being born Gay is one thing. I am a very strong empath finding
it extremely difficult to sit in an ER, and to know when I am not wanted
somewhere. In collecting antiques, there are some which give me very

.. Years ago I went to see a clairvoyant.. She only knew my name, and during the healing massage she stopped and asked me to come back.. I could hear her and in my mind I told her that I was right here.. She called my name again and again asking me to come back, to stay, and told me she had to stop the session because it was scaring her, that I was slipping away from her, and she wanted me to stay, that she couldn't allow me to leave.. It took me a very long time before I could open my eyes, just as if I had been deeply sleeping.. She told me that she had never ever experienced a session like this and it scared her.. Before I left she told me that I was highly sensitive, an empath, a lightworker and wanted me to take lessons.. She told me my guide was a man and he had wanted to show himself to me, but never did, because he was afraid to scare me.. Few days later I was sitting on the floor in my living room at home, in broad daylight and outside my view just about 2 or 3 feet away a pillar of light showed up.. It made me so surprised that it bursted out of me "holy shit, are you trying to scare the heart out of me??".. The pillar of light disappeared immediately and I knew it was my guide.. I apologized for scaring him and wished he would come back.. He never did..

8 things out of the 11 that i expirience, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 and once when my car fell into a ditch, i knew something was going to happen before it happend, and i got out the car right once i had that feeling.
when i was 10 years old, i lived in a sort of creepy house. it was yellowish on the inside but it was brick on the outside. i was walking past my basement door which was open, and i saw two pitch black hands reach for my ancles.
but, when i looked back, they were obviously not there.
but i swear on everything i believe in, i saw the hands. and it was plain, and clear to me.
also, when i was about 11-12, me and my siblings kept hearing footsteps in our attic at the same house.
it was one night where i had my step sister, my cousin, and my step sisters cousin over for a sleepover. we were laughing and playing, doing each others makeup. but we heard heavy footsteps from the attic, since my room was right under it.
one of the cousins went to the attic to investigate, but she didnt see anything.
But the fact that they heard it too, made me feel more confident that i wasnt just crazy.
and, i was on my bus one morning when i was 13. i had a gut feeling that this day was going to be terrible, but i couldnt make out what was happening.
that same afternoon, my great great grandmas barn burnt down into dust and almost killed her in the process.
i keep having this reoccurring nightmare, where ive been kidnapped. and its always in this one creepy building, that i used to live next to. ive moved, but since then, i keep having the dream that someone had kidnapped me. and i escape every time. but once i do, i follow a trail, and i always end up at a lake.
its strange, but this is actually very big for me, and all this time i just thought i was having some kind of tactile hallucinations.

I feel and saw things in my early years , first time when i was seven or eight , when i first saw shadows and energys i was 23 years old, after i give Birth to my first child. And my daughter also se things and feel things , my son also .
But one thing that is new for me is that i can feel smell from the spirits who past away. It started 4 years ago , and it gets more hard for me to tell when its for real or the spiritual thing. My family are the People Who can tell me if they can smell what i can or not , if the dont i know that smell are from the spiritual thing. Its hard sometimes beacause i can feel someones feelings and smells and see things , and i cant deside sometimes if that are in real life or the spiritual . I need to learn more and take more control of this

These are things I've experienced throughout all of my life.
A weird one was when I went a 2nd had store. I used to live near the place in the past and I've gone to other antique and 2nd hand shops, but this one was always one I've always ignored even though it's directly on a mains street and can easily be seen.
I finally went by my old neighborhood and went in with some friends. Every time I walked by a 2.5 ft doll I got uncomfortable and then my stomach started to ache.
I'm so not the type who is squeamish around old dolls and the stomach pain wasn't because I was ill. When we started to head back to my current neighborhood, my stomach was no longer and issue.
I do have a question...
How does one learn to understand and grasp these types of things that they experience?

Hello Are spidemans spidey senses a real psychic ability? When I was 14 I once had a similar experience where I dodged a tennis ball, feeling clairvoyant. That moment I literally had eyes behind my back and I saw in grey If it's a psychic ability, how can I develop it?
I have a lot of these but don't know if I'm actually a psychic. Perhaps I just need to tap into my abilities.

I have experienced 8 of these signs for sure. I'm 56 now and I think I'm ready to live with that, I was afraid ! When I was 28 I was told that I was a medium but I didn't believe it then (a medium told this to my mom just by touching a picture of me, I wasn't there). I don’t know how to name what often happens to me, I "guess" some things. For example: I was talking on the phone with my friend, we were discussing everything and nothing. He told me he was going to his daughter’s house this weekend (she lives in another city and I haven’t seen her in at least 10 years) we were going to hang up and I said "is she going to have a baby?" He said yes! I don’t know why I asked that!

Well yes to all of that... I have to say though that I never liked two things about it; I'll get to it in a second. I have some friends who are Mediums and they love it, but they were surprised when I told them that I don't LOVE it. I like most of the things, especially being able to feel different energies (I've known people who wear a mask when they NEED to vent or cry), both for people and places. I also like and heavily trust what my senses and gut tell me, I've only not listened thrice and paid for it (Have to learn the hard way sometimes). But what I never liked was feeling deja vu (Because I do have memory issues and have been warned by a doctor it will get worse with age; it was caused by a car crash when I was six) and the dreams. The deja vu part was understandable to my friends since they know a bit of my past and what scars I've got, but it's my dislike of the dreams that got them. I explained to them how not ALL of the dreams are good, most of mine are future ones nowadays and they are usually horrific and I can't wake up out of them on my own half the time. None of these dreams have been wrong so far, most take time before they happen, most take years actually, but they were floored by how dark mine often got from seeing someone's death to serious accidents and even the divorce and aftermath of a close relative. They seemed to believe all of these dreams were good as they seemed to luck out and have good or decent ones, sometimes boring (One of them has dreams of places they come across eventually and it's just dreams of hiking essentially). But they were shocked that you could have dreams like that, and they didn't believe me either, so I told them a recent one at the time in detail of how my grandfather would learn he had something wrong and pass a couple years later. Three years later we all hear he learned he had lung cancer from working with asbestos in the past, and not many years later he passed away. My friends were horrified because even his funeral that I had in a dream also happened exactly as I had seen in my dream, including how the two guys folded his flag (He was a soldier way back and two guys came out our way to give him his honors), and they had to refold it three times because they kept messing it up.
So yeah, even now I still dislike the future dreams and deja vu, but at least now I have someone who can wake me up and steady me when I need it. And while I don't actually talk often to people about this stuff, I do with them and they helped me embrace it all. Let me be clear, this person (My Sweetheart), can't do any of these and they used to not believe it yet supported me. They only learned it was actually real a couple years ago when I had a dream of someone I was close to dying in a very awful way, and I gave full details... A week later that person was gone and while comforting me my Sweetheart told me they couldn't imagine how terrifying it was to see that and THEN to live it. They're my rock and I'm grateful to have them, but I especially dread if I ever have a dream relating to them, because I don't wish to see their pain TWICE; once in a dream and a second to live that dream. My Sweetheart says that it's a gift and a curse in equal measure and they continue to do all they can to support me through things. I don't get ONLY bad ones, I just mostly only get them, but I have had good ones such as my own future wedding (Which is one I haven't told anyone I know).

For as long as I can remember, in the dark especially, I have seen a wolf. During the day, I usually merely sense its prescence, but at night, I see it. Sometimes flashes, sometimes the full body, and I need help figuring out what it is. I've dreamed of sith cats, wampus cats, matagots, but I've always been able to do research and identify them, but not this wolf. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

That is so powerful! It’s different for everyone on how to enhance our gifts but one way to start is through stillness. Finding time daily to slow down the breath and mind. Through the stillness we may find answers.
