I’m 12 years late mate but I completely agree. Liam’s voice towards the end of Oasis was sad but he started to sound a lot better when Beady Eye started. He sounds great now as a solo artist.
I remember when oasis first appeared and Noel's voice was shite!!!!! He's alot better now of course,but the people on here whinging about Liam are wrong he's still a 'Rock n Roll Star' and that's where he and his brother differ!!
Went to see Beady Eye last night in Philadelphia. Great show. Liam sounds top and their first album is a pretty solid effort ... So on one hand, for the people who are trying to say he's nothing without Noel - that's just not true. On the other hand, I do believe that Noel is chuckling to himself right now. He's letting Beady Eye have their little party before releasing a fucking epic double disk solo album that will destroy "Different Gear."
Beady eye were much better than KOL after 15 minutes of KOL I had enough and left the festie loved sons of the stage and btl seen beady eye 3 times now and have loved every performance loved liams parka
He won't stay 20 forever, all you fuckers stuck in the 90's. The Rolling Stones have been pulling it off for years but no-one complains about Mick Jagger do they? His voice might be tailing a bit but you can't say they're not putting in the hours, they're working fucking hard at promoting this album going around the world and doing loads of festivals. Roll on the next effort man.

Having seen Oasis several times and having just seen Beady Eye live, it sure seems true -- Liam's mic was loud and clear and turned up above all the other instruments -- and he sounded fantastic.

@pspcrazy205 Well he was lead guitar, and his backing vocals are pretty good, not to mention the songs he sang on his own and the back catalogue of hits that comes with Noel (which he will benefit massively from when he goes gigs as a solo artist). Not just that, when the two of them are on the stage together there is just a great presence, anyone whose seen them live would know that. That said, Beady Eye looked pretty great at T in the park last night, much better than this performance
