Very good tutorial as usual! As a matter of reference, 1 inch is 96 pixels or 72 points.
In the latest version (2.0.3, as of now), you can delete several open Curves by dragging over them instead of clicking one by one

at 15:15, I cannot drag the sun/rays OR the Mountains. I do exactly like you are doing, but my mountains are not moving, only the waves and trees. Strange, and super annoying.
I figured it out! It won't grab anything that is still Grouped. If you ungroup everything, it will then allow you to select and move as you have shown. Any Grouped item can not be selected with the node tool in this way to be adjusted with the other ungrouped items. Hope this helps someone else. Keep the tutorials coming!
How do you get your font window so big. Mine is a quarter of that size. I don't see a way to resize it.

Not quite. It depends on which operating system I’m using at the time. Inkscape is rough on Mac.
