- An in-depth, step by step video on how to properly perform an oil change on the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll try my best to answer them. Pablo is on vacation and he misses you all, but he will he back very soon! Stay tuned!
Thanks to my boy John for helping me make this video!

Thank you for posting. It was helpful.
I can now attempt to change the oil on my Ford Focus.
Just bought my ford huracan. Can’t wait!!
Just bought my 2020 Lamborghini huracan. Can’t wait to change its oil
Me not owning a Lamborghini but watching this just in case
Me without a car at 12am watching how to change oil a huracan 🤣🤣
Very specific and detailed video. If somebody can’t do an oil change after they watch this video. Then they shouldn’t be touching a Lamborghini.
They shouldn’t touch a car at all if they can’t figure it out how to change oil
Great video! Thanks for taking the time to make it. I just thought I'd add that engine oil expands a couple percent from room to operating temperature. In your case you didn't need to add all that much oil, so it might not matter. I'm not fully aware how sensitive these engines are in regards to overfilling.
To someone else having to add more "cold" oil than you did after the 2 min idle / 2 min off routine, keep in mind that once the added cold oil gets hot it will expand and give a higher reading than first observed. Again, depending on the quantity you're adding, even if it mixes with the already hot oil it might not result in the full operating temperature. Hence the best way would be to repeat the engine heat and shut off cycle to get an accurate reading.
We're talking details here, but if you by any chance didn't get all the oil out, measured its volume and ended up having to add a lot more than expected the above step is the better one, just to be on the safe side. Otherwise the oil might expand beyond were you want it on the dipstick
Changing oil on a lambo is like a Resident Evil puzzle.
The two 12mm hex bolts were wrong. I'm doing my oil change now, and they are all 10mm triple squares. Thanx for this vid!!
thank you man. my dad said if i change his lambos oil he will give me some good money so i'm tryna see how it's done
Lol that’s funny, but hell yea get that bag bag boy 💰 money 💴
Been waiting for these videos, good to see you back!
@Ty Ty gonna share this comment on twitter
Thank you so much for your generosity in posting this informative video. I will be using this information when I can start using my car in next week
Thank you so much for your generosity in posting this informative video. I will be using this information when I can start using my car in April of 2022
The best detailed video, I ever seen...thanks...
Extremely detailed; great job!
Great video. Very nice detailed job. FYI, my oil change on my 2016 LP610-4 at Lamborghini, Vancouver, B.C., cost $2200.00 (CDN) this last summer.....so about $1620.00 US dollars..... ouch. I just ordered in the Ross-Tech Hex Net device so I can reset the SRI. I've got most of the tools you've listed, but I'll need to pick a few up. Cheers, and thanx again for the time and effort you took to put this together.
Great tutorial. Will be doing this on a 15 Huracán soon.
Such a detailed and great video thank u!!!
Good Stuff Fadi! Thank You!
Tight. Will have to use this on my Lamborghini 😎👍
I recommend getting the oil change kit from FCP Euro. The Audi R8 has the same engine as the Huracan. The best thing about FCP Euro is everything is lifetime warranty even on used parts. And yes, if you return the old oil, filter, and washers. They will send you a brand new kit for free.
THE R8 IS THE SAME AS THE GALLARDO
Excellent video, very informative.....
thank you so much! All I need is a Lamborghini now.
Wow that so cool!
Haha, I love all these comments saying "Thanks, now I can change the oil on my Huracan." Right.
May I ask what are the part number for all washers? Thank you very much!!!
Do you know how to reset the service light without using the dealership?
Very usefull info 👍 do you have the drain OEM washer bolts code ?
Thank you
New subscriber here! Great content
So we shouldn't use an allen wrench on a torx bolt?
how did you find out there are so many drainplugs, I tried to find a workshop manual for the Huracan, but couldn't find anything, closest thing is a manual for an R8.
Thank you Sir for sharing
Great video, but what about oil reset explained?
Great video.
Thank you. 👍
ahh thanks, finally know how to change oil on my Lambo Huracan
Ty
Thank you so much my dad was about to panic 😂
Yayy another video ;) Good stuff. A little bit more involved than a Honda Civic lol
It seems like hell to own a supercar. I love my Honda civic so much. If I want to drive a supercar, I rent one.
@@weightelk to each their own.
@@BOOSTEDH2 prompt reply, I like that
What brand and model number torque wrench are you using?
That's insane, but I'm still looking at getting a Huracan.
Thanks
Nice ❤️
I think it's so cool that you do this to such an expensive car. In the end it is just a car.
Do you know how it will affect the resell value?
It shouldn’t have an effect on resale value. If anything, it will give the next owner a peace of mind that the oil changes were done with caution.
Thank you for awesome video U saved me lot money they were charging me $2000 for an oil change
2k? What the hell
lmao how did u even buy a lambo? 2K should be pocket change if u are in lambo market
@@unknownkingdom that 2k can help me make enough for another Lambo
oil change on my 26yr old probe gt: 1/2 drive rachet and a 19mm 6 point socket...
Love the channel please make more videos, you’re car is f***ing awesome !! #TwinTurboLife
Thank you bro! 💚
Man get a billet filter cap. Can't believe they still use that plastic cap. When I say that on my S4 I was pissed.
Diesel oil?
AlhamdulillAah, well done!
Who tuned this Lambo ? Sheepy race or UGR?
Nice! Now I know how to change the oil on my very expensive Lamborghini👍
Looking at buying a 2015 lambo huracan a few questions for you. if you could help me out what’s the yearly maintenance that needs to be done. Besides oil changes. Thanks
Nothing. Just oil changes.
Are we sure that #7 and 8 is 22 Ft. Lbs. ?
What about the service reset ? I had the local audi dealership change my oil but they didnt know how to reset the service reminder
That I am not sure. Sorry.
I am about to do this on my car, what did you do about resetting the Service Reminder? Would i need to get VCDS like I did on my Aventador or does the Huracan allow me to do it within the system settings on the car?
Wonderful video by the way!
Great question. I'm going to guess you need the scanner just like the Avendator. What was the outcome? Needed a scanner?
@@HtownRO The VCDS would do it, but I found a shop locally that did the oil change and reset the code for me for $450 total. Was wroth the money not to bother with the oil change myself lol.
@@poltdesigns 450 parts and labor? Thats a steal lol
@@HtownRO exactly!! No point in doing it myself lol. Lambo dealer in Michigan quoted me $1,800 lol
Here in Vancouver the dealer charge 2500 plus 12% tax ridiculous
it is the same for lamborghini evo? how many liters of oil did you put?
I am not sure if it’s the same for the Evo.
Where do you get all the items you need for this?
Google the oil filter part number. Get the washers from your dealer.
Doing a build here too. How do you like your SPP upgrades. Act like stock? Looking at either Dodson or SPP here. Thanks
I’ve only ever had an SSP clutch. No complaints. 👍 But I’ve heard good stuff about Dodson as well.
@@BoostITFORward thanks!
Yeah my build will not be "hero" build just a little more umf!
What is the oil type used? 5W30 or 5W40?
Make sure your owners manual for the correct oil grade and brand, and/or look at your oil cap.
many tools for the lamborguini, but they do not have the most essential, a light lamp,
How do you reset the oil message so it doesn’t say “service”
I believe you have to have a Lambo dealer reset it with their specialty tool.
@@BoostITFORward I have question how much the clutch replacement cost and there cheap clutchs for the lambo huracan
Thanks for the video! Quick question, did you not bolt your lift down to the garage floor?
I didn’t. It’s not necessary.
vacuum oil change
No lift just vacuum oil change out the oil with a tube
Yes
100% of the oil will not be removed so in 1-2 days of use do a 2nd vacuum oil change.
Only thing to add here is that after you added the 1/2 quart, you need to do the 2 minute run, 2 minute rest before checking again.
20w50?! That's some thick stuff and also diesel oil?
That’s my thoughts as well!! We used that in our old pre-war cars because of how huge the bearing tolerance was! 😂
So much damage during winter season…
for 20 some years, i change oil WITHOUT GLOVES.
and this.. guy is..
"make sure you have your gloves on"
them youtube mechs.
Nice video! How long did the entire process take? I know you weren’t rushing, just a round about time estimate?
It will take you about 2.5 hrs for the entire process if you have all the proper tools and are familiar with the steps. That includes both drives to warm up the car and putting all the panels back on.
Thanks for the info! Can’t wait for the upcoming race videos. 👍👍
It is more complex than on my Ford Fiesta.... So I'll keep my Ford Fiesta. ... :)
How do you reset it on the dash
Have to take it to the dealer for that
@@BoostITFORward How much did the Dealer charge you to reset the 'SERVICE' light. .??
@@paulbakajin257 your normal VW dealer can do it too
Why only 8 drainage holes?! It should be more drainage holes for the price. The good thing is that you have to use 8 different socket size.
That’s a good looking dog in the background. Towards the end of the video.
It clearly says do not fill, why are u overfilling?
Great video. I can't understand why they have 8 drain locations on this engine when a conventional car has only one. Obviously oil must get trapped in different areas of the car. The Italians like to complicate things lol.
Well they want the car to end up at the dealership for oil changes so they try scaring everyone with 8 drain locations lol good idea for making money I guess
It’s because they have a dry sump system where as conventional cars have a wet sump system. NASCAR has the same thing so when they’re making those angled turns the oil won’t go to just one side.
This is German engineering lol
Lambo huracan 580 here I come
Hi
Thank you for the video, I am rn a poor fuck, but I made an oath to my petrolhead soul to get one, but I dont want to jus get ripped off, I will do it myself everything and seems like the actual cost of maintenance is not that high, at most 2K if nothing significant happens.
If you have a lift, the necessary tools, and a few hours to spare, I say give it a shot yourself. I made sure the video was easy to understand so anyone with the necessary tools can do it. Good luck!
@@BoostITFORward It was easy to understand, the video is long but precise and nothing too technical, the only thing that costed me to understand was the necessary tools but I watched it again. I reaally want to get a Lamborghini Huracan! Hell, I will put on it a GT3 Body kit to make it more BADASS.
Bro where you been Bro?
I am around brother. Just decided to stop making videos :(
@@BoostITFORward I don't blame you. Loved the style of your videos but I understand the risk also. Good luck my friend, it would be awesome if you ever decided to do a random video.
Thank you so much, and you’re spot on as to why I stopped - risk! Take care! ❤️
U misspelled the title as “Ray Romano from ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ shows u how to change the oil on a Lamborghini Huracan” 😂😂😂
Firsttttttttt
Where’s your accent from
so he be rich eh?
8 bolts 5 washers 🤔
Damn fuck that. Lmfao
It hasn't blown up!!!!??? 😄😄😄
Been rebuilt to 1450 bhp
9 fucking drain plugs what the hell
If you had the money to buy a Huracan , I’m sure you can spare $1k for an oil change 😂
A 20w50 diesel oil, in a petrol lambo? ok LOL
You can do this for less than a 100 USD at home in Europe, oil and filters are cheap, engines are not!
yeah i can see why mechanics charge 1000s of dollars for an oil change in this 😂
This made me not want a Lamborghini anymore
