DIY Helping Hand (Third Hand) - Build Video

  • In this video I will show you how I made my own DIY Helping Hand (Third Hand) using a door stopper and flexible coolant pipes. So if you are also tired of using a cheap and crappy helping hand from the hardware store then grab some material and build your own. The build can be done in 2 or 3 evenings and the material cost is below 20 EUR (22$).

    I have made a STL for a one-part all 3D printed, I cannot load picture but if Bavarian RC whant to share to other ask me, I will send them all ! Thanks for the very good idea !

    Great project and well-presented. Is there an entry-level 3D printer that you could recommend to get started using one for model aviation projects? I am in Florida.

    Really? You made THIS and you used 20.000 bucks technology? Are you serious? Only if you can't find anything similar on the market, or it is too expensive, that is OK. And you used A LOT of things, even a 3D printer, to make 2 pieces of clamps? Really? You can buy for 34$ the third hand with 3 hands, with a solder stand, with the paste/sponge/wire stands. With the magnifying glass.
