  • Omnifixo has become Alex's favorite desktop clamping tool for DIY hardware projects. With four sets of soft, parallel jaws that can be used as conductors for testing, plus magnetic joints that stay where they're put, the system is endlessly adaptable and incredibly handy. Plus, it can be used to create glamorous "exploded" project displays. The sleek set is now available in 2- and 4-clamp editions, priced at $35 and $59. Many thanks to Johann for sending us one to try!

wow I'm first! Good to see you again-it has been a while. Those clips look really handy. I wonder if you could slip off the rubber grippy parts and maybe slip on other ( maybe 3d printed ) grippers? I could see a lot of possibilities there.

All this and not a single demonstration of using it in action beyond some generic marketing images.
