I bought a second Cardputer. They deliver "Chat" (ESPNow) text perfectly. For now I use .bin files on SD cards (M5Launcher loading those) for some experiments and those .bin files can be found on your computer after "downloading" in M5Burner. Some won't work from SD card like that, so you can flash some (like Doom) to see them and go back to re-flashing M5Launcher. It can act up now and then with "erase" and "flash" so don't give up.

Unboxing videos are fine but I would like to see actual uses of the Cardputer. I've managed to write an app for it using the block coding IDE but it was a challenge the entire way since the documentation is poor to non-existent if you want to do anything using WiFI, keyboard input, HTTP, or user input prompts.

If you are filming a gadget that has too bright a display, try to shine more light on the gadget. Bring your lamp closer or get a second lamp, too. If the gadget is too dim, then decrease your lighting. When unboxing and turning on a new gadget, pause the filming and adjust your lighting to match that of the gadget's screen. That makes you look more professional, and us viewers happier. 🙂

you should check out the quicko t12-942 soldering system. 0-480c in about 15sec and fine tips for detail work. best soldering system ive ever used.

I've got one of these, the nano 33 ble sense model. Strangely after connecting, the RGB led alternates between colors continuously in a strange pattern. I wonder if this is normal.

That's kind of a chonky boy. Wasn't the older model more svelte? And S3's seem like a large downgrade over the regular ESP32. Considering the prices involved, they must be much cheaper to make over the full featured ESP32. Programming support is spotty as well. :/

I just received the Beagleboard Ai 64 after paying a ridiculous price of $190 from Electromaker. I paid $12.50 for shipping and asked to return it because it is WAY overpriced for limited features, including NO Wi-fi/BT, no speaker and microphone interfacing, and NO support. MOREOVER< it is 3x price and MUSH less capable than BeagleY!!!!!!!!!! VERY angry! NOW, I must PROVE with pictures and a huge fight to return, and pay MORE to ship it back!!!!!!! I will NEVER do business with Beagle and Electromaker!!!!!!!!

I wish they would go for JBC tips instead. Much better variety and quality of tips. Especially when it comes to bend chisel tips and such. It would be so nice if we could use our JBC workbench tips on a mobile soldering iron.

i got mines last week, it's pretty cool.... flipper zero is way more practical. there are some firmware for this device. Also you can only burn one app at a time. each time you burn one app, the latest app overrides the previous app. However, you can save the apps you want on your SD card if you want to switch from one to another. The easiest way to do this is buy burning M5 Launcher onto your cardputer...

You mentioned rfid for security. The better use for rfid with the dial is for setting it up for music playback as you wanted. You can pre program NFC tags for different songs, playlist etc and then swipe them on the dial to start your music.
