去年有个学弟，博士快毕业了一直在找工作但是都找的不理想，突然有一天说不找工作了，找了个剑桥的博士后还能再读几年 。据说面试流程主要就是跟那边的教授聊了半个小时。 聊开心就完事了。。😂

Yes, for most UK schools, the competition for admission between local and international students is equal, it very much depends on your exam result. While in the US and HK, domestic or local students will have more advantage in the admission

nope. it's easier to get in to HKU if you are overseas students. It's easier to get straigh A* in GCSE, iGCSE, IB than the local DSE exam.

kid of my friend was invited to have an interview at Cambridge a year ago ( plus 1 night free accomodation), really learnt a lot! (but finally choose UCLA on a full scholarship)
TCF HK reasonable
The Korean student provided a wrong information. Overseas students DO have higher conditions when you get a conditional offer. Normally they require straight A and even A* if you are an overseas student while local students sometimes get conditions with B in one of their Alevel courses. If you want to get in Maths program, your STEP(a maths test designed for admission of Cambridge maths students) grades need to be I or S if you are an overseas student while local students only need to get II or I(from high to low: S, I, II, III).
But honestly, Alevel grades are nothing compared to the difficulty of entrance interviews...

我不知道一開始的兩個女生是不是讀我現在要說的那間，但在劍橋有所學校叫cambridge school of art and viusal。
我當初申請的時候代辦人員會講的他們好像是「劍橋大學」下的一個分校或學院，但我後來一查他們根本跟很優秀的劍橋一點關係也沒有。
他們就像是台灣的「台灣首府大學」跟台大一點關係也沒有！
而且真正的劍橋大學也沒有藝術學院。
