Starlight was my first choice. It looks so chic. But the store where I bought my MBA M2 had no stock and I cannot wait that long if I had to get it online. I was left with Midnight. I did not really like it at first, it is too masculine for me. However, after more than a month, I am starting to appreciate Midnight. It is not chic, but is also not a boring color. I like how sleek and snappy my Midnight MBA looks like. It gives you that powerful vibe. A small yet powerful laptop.
Edit: As to the very famous problem "smudges" it really is not that big of a deal. For some reason, it makes you be more careful and more responsible as to how to use your laptop. When you are forced to make your laptop neat, then you can make sure it is clean! It's a win-win. 😆
how does it feels after using it for 2 weeks? Especially for typing? I'm considering buying the M1 bc it's much cheaper and I like the wedged design and slanted edges since my wrists hurt when typing for too long, but M2 starlight is so much prettier :(
does the edge feel higher for you or it doesn't actually affect you?

I am kinda unsure how will i manage with fingerprint smudges and scratches on midnight !
That was one of the reasons why I chose Starlight over Midnight. I’ve seen so many people talking about the fingerprints leaving on the MacBook itself. Maybe you can try getting a clear MacBook case to cover over it! At least it won’t be leaving fingerprints on it and will also be protected 🫶🏻
