    It took multiple attempts and a few weeks to get this project done. I'm still figuring out how to make the camera shake look realistic and I’m also looking for more relastic sounds, such as flaps and crew announcements, and I have to remove some unwanted noise as well. So I'm working hard to make the next projects more realistic, but I have to ask for your patience. It's an iterative process and it'll take time.
    This video was recorded on my 2013 MacBook Air 11" (which runs FSX surprisingly well) using FS Recorder, as well as Final Cut Pro and Audacity to post-process the video and audio.
    These are my first attempts at recording and rendering and I'm constantly trying to improve the process/results, so any feedback and suggestions for new flights are highly appreciated.

    I absolutely love your videos. I'm a huge fan of Flight Simulator, and have since the first one came out. I have FS98, 2000, and 2004. I'd love to see an RDU-LAX flight.

    how to got the sim to run smoothly on a mac is beyond my comprehension, you must be an engineer or something, very realistic, and nice landing too. Thank you for sharing. Dane.

      Hi thanks for watching and your suggestions. I lived in Phoenix for a while back in 06/07 so it'd be nice to take a trip back. Do you have a particular airline/aircraft in mind?

      Thanks! I use Active Sky Next as the weather engine. It really adds to the realism of the environment. The Airbus is developed by Project Airbus. You can download them on their site. It only takes minor tweaks to get them working in FSX.

      Jan Günzelmann Hi. I have the data bit.ly/1HqEhsP and I'm working on a software to turn such data into a flight in FSX. It is a lot of work though, but I think it's the only way to make the flights more realistic and to improve the efficiency of the whole process. I've uploaded a couple of rough concepts to explain what it's all about bitly.com/1e8HzEQ

    • @FSWindowSeat
      @FSWindowSeat  Před 9 lety +2

      deltaflyer261 Thanks. The voices are all customer made and reworked in Audacity to add some effects and to make them sound more realistic. I'm still trying to make them sound more realistic. Right now they sound a bit like 3CPO.

      Hi, except for the engine sound, all of the audio has been added in post production in Final Cut Pro.

  • @emilianopadilla1589
    @emilianopadilla1589 Před 9 lety +1

    is the engine sound already included in the aircraft?

    • @FSWindowSeat
      @FSWindowSeat  Před 9 lety

      Emiliano Padilla Except for the engine sounds, the majority of the sounds are custom made. Skyhigh sim has a great Airbus A320 IAE V2500 sound pack.
