How to build a potting bench - follow along as I build a potting bench. The potting bench is white oak with a stainless steel top. It has 3 drawers, a lower shelf and a hutch with upper shelf.

Yeah, it's been a while. I actually built this in 2020 and delivered it the day the world shut down. I've had the video edited for years but I didn't want to release it till I had plans to go along with it and I finally finished the plans last week! I have 30 other projects filmed and ready to edit. Hoping to try and keep a more regular schedule but the plans just take so much time. Thanks for watching!

It’s absolutely gorgeous! Love that you went with an oil finish as it’ll be so much easier to keep protected and new long term! I need to get some of that. I don’t know if I’d build mine with cedar or maybe oak is just fine in the elements. Either way it’s gorgeous and will be a joy for the owner to use! I’ll stick with my Titebond III thank you for demonstrating that glue. Other woodworkers I’ve watched use it complain about the same thing so I prefer my normal water proof or resistant wood glue

Thank you so much! When I get into projects I end up getting stuck with my plan a lot of the times. Had I stopped and thought about it a minute I would have used Titebond III for most everything but it didn't really dawn on me to switch till the end of the project. Live and learn!
