Yeah, that's how I do it.
In the Options menu, you can set sneak to be a toggle rather than holding it down. I usually have it on the hold setting but switch to toggle if I know I'm going to be sneaking while placing a bunch of blocks and it's incredibly useful.

When Doc finds the ore snatcher, he shouldn't let them know he knows right away. Instead, start by replacing the blocks in their base with cobblestone, a little at a time, until they start going nuts.
Then break out the big revenge.
when they finally realize, and approach doc about reconciling, he needs to just be like "no. no mercy, no respite. you will never live in certainty again"

Cub's defense confirmed to me that it was him. He knew about all the evidence that pointed to Scar, but he didn't know that you confirmed Scar's innocence. The ore snatcher is trying to set up Scar, and in comes Cub pointing the finger right at Scar.
This is exactly what I thought, too. Cub just confirming that he is #1 suspect.
Also just no way Scar could have disarmed the trap. We love Scar but let's be honest he's not exactly known for being a Redstone master
My money is also on Cub, but not for this. It's because he's got secret bases started in almost all of the other hermits, bases. Cub is also good with Redstone, which you need to be if you don't want to break a Redstone machine. Then there's the fact that hermits do things in between episodes, or offstream, so there's a chance Cub could be taking ore without the other hermits online (or the viewers watching and ready to tell Doc) and then start recording for a video away from the shopping district.
Most suspicious part to me is what Cub's been doing on video. Making a huge maze like that would be a very tedious project, and that's been most of his recorded footage. For someone as chaotic as Cub, he'd need some sort of outlet.
My money is on the ol Jingler as well, Cubfan is always sus when there is shenanigans

the ore snatcher is actually doc. he is so guilt ridden about killing the pig that his subconscious sleep walks, logs onto the server and steals the ore. the only answer that makes sense, who else could by pass his redstone
I love this, Doc, skips the starter phase of the season by being the GOAT, then mid season manages to end up doing all the starter season work because of his banishment!

Actually a huge fan of these simplified farm designs because I never have the patience to gather up and build everything needed for a proper farm

Make a portal near someone else’s so you end up on the nether roof, then lay blocks to get to your swamp portal….
@@volehunter yea, but nether portals are iffy . You would land on obsidian blocks not placed by yourself and might land on nether roof blocks also not placed by yourself.

I really enjoy the duality of man who breaks the rules all the time by doing impossible things and same time is so worried about breaking other rules that other hermits have to tempt and soothe him just to try something. It's good entertainment and so wonderfully human ❤

Oh great Goat Father, I have a suggestion. Bridge to Scar's Shop, the DeathScar, to get access to an ender chest. It's perfectly legal, especially if you place blocks in there to stand on. And if Scar finds you, just tell him that your not breaking the rules of your punishment due to how you can only stand on blocks you have placed and that your standing on the blocks you placed in the shop.
It's kinda like how the Snails who stole Scar's Diamond Ore managed to open a shop that sells them. After all, for a Hermit to open a shop they need a permit. The Snails aren't Hermits, making it so that they can open a shop without a permit.
I have never felt more validated for binding dismount to a different key than shift.
I still think it's Cub. He was the one that left the sign with the spelling mistake to frame Scar, that's why it was the first thing he brought up to defend himself. Trying to use the evidence he planted as his defense!
a hermitcraft skyblock arc with more of the hermits sounds like it'd be fun
They kind of have done it before but it wasn't a vanilla sky block, it was modded.

@@reannamckee43Not possible, Sky block is too grindy and Life series is a quick short series. To get at a level where they can do the main objectives they would need weeks of work and the view retention will not be there.

How is it that in every season Bdubs somehow has the power to make kings/judgements, they always are as crazy as he is and no one stops him :D. It’s great
In Season 7, he created the monster mayor who snapped the shopping district off its natural soil & constructed death weapons and factories.
In Season 9, he created a king that terrorized the entire economy for months before dethroned.
And now, finally, in Season 10... He _HIMSELF_ has decided to take the mantle of a tyrant. What a guy!

you gotta try and catch a stream some time! he streams on twitch most Saturdays, his channel is docm77LIVE. he loves to rant about random topics and chill with us. not much progress is usually made, but we have an awesome time. you can really feel how much he cares when he's talking directly to members of his community.

Doc mentioned on the podcast how he tries to create a community for us fans and I want to thank him for that. This has been one of the worst years of my life but the one constant that I have in my life is the Hermits. They are literal life savers.

doc and pearl combo is something that would never cross my mind, but after seeing this episode, i'm rooting for more! pearl's chaos is good for doc :))
Pearl in some ways was clever on using her own Llama for that whole excursion. If Cleo came up and killed it then she could take them to court for the same reasons as you did on Hermitcraft. :P

Hmm. Scar claims it's not him, Cub claims it's Scar, Imp's being cheeky about some diamond ore in his storage... It's possible there's more than one ore snatcher. It would make sense for there to be a team of ore snatchers so one can snatch the ore while the others distract the warden.
I think once this is all over you should really give XB a present or an IOU. He's been so generous on precisely the right times!

Would love to see that throughout the season everyone Bdubs finds guilty has to live up on thr island for a certain amount of time. Would be so cool to see how it would grow and is definitely in thr spirit of collaboration on the server

The ore snatcher is definitely not scar, because he was away due to his surgery and I’m pretty sure ore went missing during that time, which makes cub even more suspicious
I was suspicious of SmallishBeans because he complained about paying sand, and had a theory that he's doing this for revenge for paying sand. BUT, we know the Ore Snatcher was trying to frame Scar... And now Cub is saying it's Scar? I feel like that it's a hint that Cub is the Ore Snatcher.. OR another theory... I don't think the Ore Snatcher is working alone either, because one of the signs says something about "Glitchers", so seems like more than one person. I think Cubfan and Smallishbeans might be working together. If this ore snatching has something to do with paying sand, it's also ironic that they are framing someone who SELLS sand...
@@adriannalikespuzzles Probably not Joel/Beans, he's been offline with a chest infection for a while. He's also the petty type so he's more likely to just buy out Doc with a ridiculous amount of sand to force Doc to place it all rather than mess with redstone since he'd worry about breaking it
But yeah Cub pointing out the typos and Scar's typing style seems like an intentional bait and switch, when Scar was away and also would have died to the warden trap + a couple assorted mobs outside the shop in the process just because.

Fun fact: if you're in a chest/etc inventory and you take something in your hand and "float" it without putting it anywhere, if the inventory closes it will go into your inventory. No matter where it originally was, no matter how the inventory closed.
What if your inventory is full? Does it just drop then? And I assume it wouldn't go into your off-hand slot if that was open?

with that thumbnail of the week im imagining a terrified doc holding onto his llama for dear life. he then sees an ender chest, gets greedy and reaches out for it. but falls off in a cartoonish fashion after reaching out his arm as far as it could reach and barely prying the lid open.
While it might not be your favorite stuff to do Doc, I do enjoy watching you making stuff with a very limited setup. To me it's fun to see the problem solving when you can't just go grab whatever and have to work within the frame of what you have.
i know doc has other stuff todo on the ground, such as fixing his shop, but i could watch him skyblock for another month at least. sorry hun but this single not-a-mom is enjoying your innovations

The Doc drawing in the new TCG card looks to be playing an F chord on the guitar, which is the first chord played by the electric guitar in the intro/outro song. Either a coincidence or some serious attention to detail by the fan artist!
Has doc ever heard of the irish mythology legends of Oisín mac Cumhaill. Mprtal warrior who went to live in Tír na Óg (~land of the young) he went to visit Ireland on a white horse and he was warned not to leave the horse. When he went to help a farmer with a large boulder he slipped from the horse and aged to an old man as he had lived in Tír na óg for hundreds of years.
Seems appropriate for docs falling of the Lama.

The Ore Snatching really does match up perfectly with Cub's M.O. - and I still wouldn't put it passed him to lie about it to your face - but as far as the next most likely suspect... Jevin? He's been showing he's willing to go big on pranks this season considering the giant smileys over the Death Scar and Cub-boom. It COULD be him.

The lama incident was the most hilarious thing that happened on hermitcraft since Xisuma told Grian to "have faith in us" before plopping a bed in front of him in the nether. Can you believe he had the nerve to be surprised at the inevitable outcome? 😂
I felt bad for both Pearl and Doc when he right clicked off of the lama but the creeper and Pearl's perfectly cut scream was so perfect. I just died!

Doc just showed everyone how to play "the floor is lava"... it's his first time; he'll get better.
While I'd be pretty forgiving with standing on trees, leaves, and swimming in water, I wouldn't forgive "floor" blocks placed by other hermits.
I would argue that stairs aren't a floor.
500 IQ play: Doc is the ore snatcher himself... heh? EH? (Probably not though XD ) I'm loving the progress in this improvised skyblock!
Since dock has already brought out the lazy loaded tnt, and this season is all about showing off community work, he should build the lazy loaded tnt canon somewhere remote and add a mechanism for randomizing the coordinates, and hook it up to a repeater-comparator wireless redstone receiver and build the sender in town. Use it like an infinity gauntlet. Whenever the ore snatcher messes with you, you push the button and a few random chunks of hermitcraft are erased. It might be some unimportant place in a field or forest. It might be part of their base.
an orbital strike cannon would be the perfect revenge contraption for being forced into skyblock

hehehe i love that there's a slowly growing zone of darkness under Doc's sky island, so while Doc's automizing and grinding, there's a shadow presence slowly expanding over the server
When you found the first replaced cobble half slabs, the closest sign said got him. Which is a Cub thing to say. If you think the ore snatcher is the same one that is replacing the cobble, then it is Cub.
Finally, a concrete piece of evidence. The ''got him'' thing is too niche and specific for somebody to use as a framing device (Unlike the goat head on the alarm system that everybody keeps bringing up).
But the snatcher has framed both scar and pearl too. It can be anyone

@@matthewparker9276 they placed a sign saying something like "what do i hear about a happy place" Which is a very pearl sentence. It's at the start of the episode where cleo gives doc 24h before going to skyblock
Also small loophole found:
Bdubs ruling said "if feet touch ground, 1 week is added".
Notice it doesn't say "for every time your feet touch the ground, a week is added"
That bridge for the villagers looks dangerous. Maybe your next bridge should be, oh, I don't know 1000 blocks wide, for "safety," of course.
They want you to "sky" "block", so, do it.
I love the little doc allies. Love the design. Definitely going to get it. ... I also believe cub is either the ore snatcher or am accomplice. 😅
I thoroughly enjoyed Doc's extremely professional skyblock gameplay last episode, and having more to see is just awesome. Bdubs' punishement was a blessing in discuise, not only do we get to see the most entertaining and unique skyblock experience in existence, but we will also bear witness the greatest revenge story of all time from Doctor Shrek!

Honestly, Cub's justification for why he couldn't be the ore snatcher just solidified in my mind that its *definitely* him.
Because he accused Scar immediately, pointing out the spelling mistake. But Scar's community already proved that Scar has an alibi. He was streaming during the time one of the diamond ores was snatched! We KNOW it's not Scar. He also has no good excuse for his lack of alibi and we know the times of the ore snatching usually line up with the times he is online. Its ABSOLUTELY Cub.
Doc should send every hermit suin' papers addressed to the ore snatcher. One of them will be the real OS and think Doc has figured it out, and the others will turn up to court to plead their innocence. Then they will all be in the same place for Doc to enact his revenge!
1st, looking forward to seeing Doc's Imp&Skizz episode, it's the one I anticipate the most!

If the ore snatcher isn't Cub im gonna be even more impressed because this is such a Cub thing to do I just cannot picture anyone else having this much dedication, planning and knowledge
Before I watch I watch this I predict that at least one of 4 things will happen:
1. Doc turns the sky into a super flat world of cobblestone, creating eternal night for the hermits below
2. Doc makes a world flooder to put water everywhere
3. Doc rains curtains of lava from build height to make massive walls of cobblestone
4: Doc just gets bullied all episode

honestly, as someone who only plays modded or skyblock minecraft this is giving me a lot of good tips at being better at skyblock with stuff i didn't know. thank doc for making this fun and not just sitting on a skyblock island for a few weeks

You on the Lama with Pearl having it on the lead was the most entertaining bit of the whole season! You two make a great couple - as good as old times Grian and Mumbo... and with Pearl just getting into Redstone, this is as great a pairing as Pinky and the Brain, Laurel and Hardy, The Odd Couple,... I want more of this - no, I need more of this! Take her under your wings, teach her like Mr. Miyagi taught Daniel. Oh... please let there be more of this hilarity!
