    Hi. Thank you for your video. Helped me a lot. By the way, do you know what are these small plugs for (small torx screws) located low on the rear side of each stanchion ??? Is it for adding oil from time to time ?? Best regards.

    Hey I was wondering if changing the travel also changed the length of the fork when it's uncompressed.
    I have an axon boost and I'm wondering if dropping to 120mm will change my stand over height.

    Hello sir, thanks for sharing knowledge!
    Could you please tell me if this suspension is full "fixable"? I mean, during a maintenance both sides can be opened and its parts be renewed or there's one side which is "locked"?
    Greetings from Brazil :)

    Supposedly the 32mm stanchion Axon Werx F can only do 80-100mm of travel. Which is strange if it's the same PCS air spring as the base 80-120mm Werx. The F is preset to 100mm travel. I'd like 120. I'll follow these relatively simple instructions, hope I don't screw it up (don't think I should), and see if there are zero or two spacers inside. On the other side of things, I still don't understand how compression works without oil on Suntour forks (is it similar to a coil spring-preload?), but either way I will not mess with that side of the fork.

    • @mikeburgh3956

      Not on Rockshox or Fox. You need to change the airspring to change travel on those.

    I see that you have an Axon 34 on the video. So what should I do to reduce the volume in the Axon 32, since on the Suntour webpage they say the spacers are only for 34-35mm forks?

    • @richardjensen3655
      @richardjensen3655 Před rokem

      The Axon 32 "supposedly" is 80-100-120mm of travel. That means there should be up to 4 spacers to insert. I'm not sure where you can purchase extra spacers, hopefully there would be a couple in a plastic bag with the new fork.

    Good day sir, i have an issue on my sr suntour axon 32 fork. When i hit a consecutive hard bumps, there is a knocking inside my fork.

    • @mtbboy1993
      @mtbboy1993 Před 3 lety +1

      Might be broken spring, or the fork might have worn bushings, it might be creaking steerer, crown, stanctions, but apperently that does not happen much on sr suntour compared to Fox. But I've not tried so can't confirm this.
      If you hear a scraping sound or get inconsistent performance it likely the negatyove spring Tha that's snapped, on coil forks it can be the coil too.
      Some part might be loose inside, might not been assambled properly or worked it self loose. Check the bolts.

    • @mtbboy1993
      @mtbboy1993 Před 3 lety

      Is the knocking at return to full travel only? If so some forks are just like that, bad design of internals, causing a knocking sound, 2012 Marzocchi corsa had that, so did Fox 36 think it was 2018 or 2019, I don't remember but bikeradar has a video.

    • @rgmtb
      @rgmtb  Před 2 lety

      Pretty darn close.

    • @richardjensen3655
      @richardjensen3655 Před rokem

      My 32 is not a real lockout, even though Suntour claims it's within 2mm. I can still get at least 10mm of travel with the remote lockout. Sometimes up to 30/100mm if it's on a technical trail (that was a test, I don't normally lockout if it's going to be that bumpy). It's not a huge deal but it's a bit false advertising. My Manitou Machete and Suntour Raidon are 100% lockout. This is not. It's simply extra compression by maybe the equivalent of 4 extra clicks above the 16 when locked out. Otherwise it's a good fork, only 3.2 lbs and smoother than the Machete & Raidon. Not as smooth as a Manitou Mattoc but that fork has a DH air spring.
