He’s like and evolved Tony Parker. Great foot work, great touch, excellent drop step and 1/4 spin move, gets to the paint and finishes. Tough cover for anyone
Good comparison. A lot of quickness, but mostly skill to hit leaners and fades from difficult angles and knowing how to get people off balance and capitalize on it. Most important: very decisive when he decides to score, just like Parker was.
Dude, I said the same thing on his other video. I guess a lot of us who have a mind for the game see him the same
No tony parker wasn't as good as a passer and Brunson tries on defense
@@dsg3053 bro you sound like a total idiot. he played for SAN ANTONIO. they dont let you play if you dont make the right passes. And the Spurs had ELITE defense just like the Knicks, of course Tony tried🤡 You think Pop lets people ‘not try’
Tony averaged 7.7 assists in a few seasons. Higher than Brunson in a slower era.
That quick floater Brunson has, just like Tony!
If he'd played 10 years ago or so, he'd been hands-down an all-star starter.
Try 20 years ago bro. 10 years ago, Curry was one year away from his 1st championship.
@@keshified what does that mean dummy?😂 in like 2016 Kyle Korver and Jeff Teague were allstars in the East.
Brunson shoots basically 50%. Thats rare for a scoring guard
wait til next year when he averages 25 again... hell be too good to ignore. He can be a starter if the voters don't vote for the NAME and vote for how they play...
@@dfacedagame Kyrie, D Mitchell, Tatum, Durant, Giannis were the starters. Hard to argue with them
Fan vote only counts for 50% of it too
@@clutch7548 it means a decade ago the ASG starting guards were Kobe, Wade, Kyrie, and Curry. Who'd he overtake then?
Put his numbers 20 years ago, he'd be a starter for sure. Now, do you understand?
He seems to never put it up when the defense is expecting it. It’s art!
Hes so tuff
@@fullSendernopretender?? sup with you?
He’s an exciting player to watch for sure.
wow 6 foot dude posting up a 6'6 derozan like that is impressive. ive only seen that from the smaller guards in the 90s , 00s like mark jackson , sam cassell , andre miller etc
Man he is 6 !!! Looks like a beetle between sharks..
He know he’s cooking. Each dribble move got the bobblehead shake 🤣
As a Mavs fan, this is so painful to watch man
All Dallas had to do was pay that man they lowballed him then had to trade all their defense to get rental in kyrie
Mark Cuban playin real life 2k he barely know what he doin
Kylie better ovr plus better playoff performance
@@koldheartedbam1064 they struggling
Yep you explained it perfectly.
Thank you Luka for letting Brunson not be a priority.
Is he doing the dream shake? How is he a 6 foot big man with guard skills 😂
exactly!
Every since he was gone from the Mavericks, he’s been showing his true talent!! Luka must’ve held him back
Duh, luka average more than 20 shots a game
High Possession Players always hold players back....
Ex: Jordan... When he the left first time Bj made the Allstar, And Pippen was in MVP conversations... They also only dropped 5 games
Why is what brunsons doing here any more indicative of his talent than what he did in dallas? Of course brunson will score more on a team with worst talent
@@lrdmcd914 jordan didnt hold shit back. Hes the reason they won 6 rings and was straight up carrying them by the 2nd threepeat as pippen declined and rodman was going even more off the rails
@jojoprocess Just cause someone is a ball hog and was goated at it doesn't mean he carried the team.... The dude averaged 23 shots and 8 free throws a game, back in the '90s when teams only averaged 45-48 possessions a game...
That means MJ used more than half of The Bulls possessions..
Averaging 18pts next to him is elite..
When MJ retired the first time, the bulls won 55 games...
When Bron left Cleveland both times, what happened to the squads?
When Curry got injured, what happened to Golden State?
If you put a top 10 player in any sport on a team that could go .600 w/o them, you'll have the same results
Best Footwork since Prime Harden and Prime Kobe.
Usted sabe
watched his game up close once couple years back. His every single movement is packed with multiple fakes. I then knew he would be a good player but still I underrated him
His strength and footwork are god tier
Only watched 2 minutes. Just wanna say.. this man could hesitation courses lol. He finds a way everytime
No its called 3 years of college and fundamentals footwork hes actually not traveling everyone is so shocked and amazed 😂
This man is DANGEROUS!!
quintessential new york point guard right here. FINALLY.
Ngl as a Cavs fan, Brunson kinda wipes the floor with Mitchell
Best footwork in the NBA!
first of all the man's a lefty
every highschooler will want to be him. average athleticism, insane skill.
Why do I feel like he grew out his hair just to make his head fakes extra deceptive? Lol, this dude moves like that one a-hole from Soul Calibur who walks on his back.
Voldo
@@emprrah Yeah, Voldo. Try to cut him and he slithers around your back and kisses you on the cheek. That unorthodox bastard!
😂😂
His handles and body shiftiness remind me of Isiah Lord Thomas III, Derek Rose, and Nick Van Excel.
I really like his shot selection and composure. The Knicks success with him proves that Luka Doncic doesn't play well with other offensive talent. The Knicks can bring talent to new york unlike Dallas, who has held Kyrie hostage
he might be the best shooter between 5-15 ft in the nba
2:02 someone tell that announcer what a pivot foot is
He slid his pivot. It was a travel.
Best pg in the league
totally agree
As a Warriors fan, I'm so glad that he's not on the Mavericks anymore! 😂
This guy bag might be deeper than kyrie
Stop it my boy… maybe in the post… definitely not nearly the athlete, shooter or ball handler
0:35 yooo 🤯🤯
so SMOOTH
Bronson will make them GM rethink paying max contracts to 7 footers just because! He got that ability like AI to score in will
While I like Brunson's game, there once was a time when if you moved your pivot foot like he did at @02:00 that would be a travel. There were even some refs back in the day , if you even moved your pivot foot AT ALL after you picked up your dribble, that was considered a travel.
Got this D Rose thing
Lovit
We have a nice team but when we NEED a bucket... we call on Jalen Brunson
Feels like #11 is feeling the spirit of #10 & #15.
Two championships for Villanova is enough proof
Luka Doncic holds back perimeter players, I been saying that since his first season
josh hart at 8:25 lmaooo
He be off that mark Cuban pack..
They said Luka didn't have any help 😂
He doesn’t look fast but for some reason they can’t guard him
Umm cause he fast
2023 NBA Most Improved Player
How tall is he?
6’1
@@mrow1391 dam he looks shorter than that…just shows you how tall the other guys are.
@@Percy_P he is shorter then 6’1
@@messiahniang-casey5426 His draft combine measurements were 6’1 w/o shoes and 6’2.25 with shoes.
@@Percy_P that’s cause he’s bulky
Luka to the Knicks ? 🤔
Luka is feeling sick right now. Dallas passed on the perfect wingman.
Is that starks son? He favors him
Rick Brun'son
Brunson shoots 50% from the field. Way better😁
best player in the league idc
Dark horse mvp
Once again thanx Mark 4 giving us our ticket to the playoffs. How's Kyrie doing????😊😊😊😊
There is something about lefty
Mavs made a mistake for not keeping him
Brunson is actually a small version of Dwayne Wade, whose one of the greatest Postwork Guards ever! He's also 'stolen' all the herky jerky stuff from Luka. It's footwork, tempo and a bit of Anderson slow-more movement. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is of a similar vein. That said, Brunson owes all his success to Harden from the rockets. He's a great student of the game hence his ascendancy -
Watch his college highlights and you’ll realize that you say things with no basis or factual evidence and expect to sound intelligent on a subject which then makes you seem redundant.. 😂 ppl like you
@@majormoneyenttv1306 bruh he said Brunson stole his moves from Luka ..like luka invented it gtfoh
@@dsg3053 Brunson been this way since he was a youngin. You can find mixtapes of him in elementary school.
And he didn't make the all-star team???SMH GO KNICKS!!!!
Life is funny and quite ironic the mavericks didn't make the playoffs need I say more
Most improve player....
Niggas know jalen Brunson was a goat of the Dallas Bench in 2k
He got his whole shit from derrick rose and he better be giving props to his pops
They play nothing alike lol, D Rose was acrobatic and a more explosive finisher, Jalen is more pace and Footwork/Craft ….
@@mrow1391 he plays like d rose since he stopped the dunks I didn't say he played like mvp rose
@@godsfavoritt771 he was doing this on the mavs
Jesus is king
2:08 lol how was that a travel? Lol that wizards announcer salty
