I was diagnosed diabetic 10/27/22 with A1C @ 7.0! 6 weeks later I had dropped 33lbs and A1C dropped to 5.5! I just had my 3 month check up yesterday. I’ve lost a total of 49lbs and my A1C has dropped to 5.1! Also my fasting blood sugar is averaging between 80 and 98. I am currently on Metformin x2 and Jardiance. I know I have a long way to go, but I’m proud of how seriously I’m taking this and working hard toward reversing my diabetes! I feel blessed I was diagnosed early enough to do something about it!

If your diabetic avoid fruits too if possible. If you can’t it’s important to eat just a very small serving. The best and most controversial way to control diabetes is to go either healthy low carb or clean keto. A safer and more popular way is to go clean eating avoiding anything processed and keeping everything balanced. 😊

My husband has type 2 diabetes however he is taking blood pressure medications and medications for post liver transplant and he is prohibited from eating grapefruit. He also takes blood thinner that’s why he avoids eating kiwi because it’s high in vitamin K.

Hmmmmm, to be sure, I would check my blood sugar an hour after eating these fruits, except for avocados.

It is strange that the list of good fruits for diabetics by different experts vary quite significantly from each other. Why is it so difficult to reach a consensus among them to come out a final list that could benefit the diabetics? In this program, strawberry, grapefruit and cherries are recommended, but elsewhere they are not.
