I do like to sell back mountains to dwarves, and snow back to kislev. it's mostly to keep a nice buffer between me and the bullshit on the other side of them.
What pisses me off is when they let and army of gobbos trespass through their land without declaring on them to attack one of your settlements

I feel like mid to late game I spend more time chasing armies around then actually fighting. I wish the AI would spend time to build competent armies instead of pumping out little shit armies to try to snipe one of my settlements. Have to build walls in damn near every settlement. Expensive and frustrating.
For the super chat asking how to deal with armies force marching away from you and sacking you settlements: if you can reach them but not enough to attack again after the initial retreat, give your army the attack order but right before you actually engage hit backspace to stop your army in their zone of control. On their turn they will be sruck in your zone of control( unless they have underway stance) they will be forced to attack you but will usually just go into encamp status. I learned this from another video and its been a game changer
Thank goodness. I have been having trouble with my Empire campaign (just started with WH3). Looking forward to seeing how Legend deals with all the changes.
5:44:00 glad to see that I'm not crazy. The AI factions eat up the Elector Counts by turn 20 ~ 30, even if you do farm them free armies from time to time.
Elspeth and Gelt are easier. Thorgrim and Franz are heavily surrounded by hostiles despite being the 'base' factions for their race. Makes a challening introduction for newcomers.
and Karl Franz is labeled as good for new players first campaigns by the game.
Having started watching this live near the end and then coming back to watch the beginning made the comments Legend made in the first few minutes pretty funny.

There is/was an easy trick to defeat Khazrak early on that doesn't require a lot of skill. It will however lead to Todbringer getting wiped out in most cases. I also don't know if it still works after the recent patches since i only did it shortly after the DLC dropped, but it did work in multiple attempts.
You can simply wait for Khazrak to take out Middenland until they have only one settlement left. Use the waiting time to recruit units around Eilhart. For whatever reason he will then attack Altdorf which can simply be autoresolved. He also doesn't recruit another army for a long time so you can just slowly reach Middenheim and finish him off.
In my latest campaign Khazrak wiped out Toddy in 5 turns xD

Hey Legend. Just got into Total War because of you and I have been having a heap of fun. Might you consider doing an updated DLC Tier list for newbies. With the Steam sale it is the best time to get into the series. Thanks for making these videos; I never would have tried what has very quickly eaten up all my free time without you ^_^
Chaos Dwarfs is a lot of fun. There are loads of FLC for Warhammer 2 and 1. I personally really enjoy Oxyotl and Orion. beastmen can be a lot of fun. Dwarfs are pretty cool now with the most recent DLC patches. It all depends on your cup of tea I suppose.

Also regarding leaks I'm just indifferent to SW, whatever not super excited for it but we will see. I really want to see RENAISSANCE, WW1/WW2 made by CA or MEDIEVAL era again with three different periods EARLY, HIGH, LATE campaign.

40k would low key be sick if they added a 3rd layer of campaign. It would be a lot to pay attention to but it would be cool. Normal world map like we’re used to. Then add one more zoom out into a space arena

During the siege, once towers are destroyed, why not bring mortars closer to walls to have better aim at units?
Lizardmen desperately need a rework for sure. The economy is so bad, do lizards reslly need to be paid so much gold? And buy god, for a faction based on strong melee infantry, temple guard are SO bad compared to every other elite Halberd unit.
Ogres maybe just need their contracts changed to be more like Oxyotls visions of the old ones IMO. And more units.
The supply lines reduction between games was a massive buff to their economy. Cult of Sotek is extremely strong thanks to that and their Lotl-Botls.

I also played a legendary campaign as Franz and holy hell it was difficult as hell, using T1 units and over extending to bretonia was also my mistake, i had to hold a couple of turns and get some T2 units, it was pretty much swift after that then i took vlad with outriders then gg
I think the order of threats that i usually deal with in my Franz campaign is 1. Cessesionists 2. Khazrak 3. Kimmler 4. Festus. 5. Vlad 6. Grom/belakor 7 wurzag/wulfrik/scrag

I do but there's not really much to talk about. I don't know the lore behind it and I don't think it'll have a huge impact on Khorne
Pretty sure getting Marienberg doesn't show Albion anymore...
The gobos (early) and Wulfrik (later) might be an issue for Aarnau, but you don't instantly get Belakor and Vanaheim on your butt.
There will not be a total war 4 engine in the way you mean it.They might to a huge rework, maybe a full restructuring of the current engine, but there's no reason to start from scratch.
Coding is changed. Code management is changed. No matter how messed up things are currently, this engine still contains a lot of function that thet would be stupid to throw away.
But if they are thinking about ww1, 40k and star wars, one should think they are up to something regarding the battle engine, because current stuff is not up to simulate that kind of battles

Used to hate sieges, still kinda do and will always take a good auto resolves if I can. The trick is just being patient as legend showed

During the siege, when you ran out of ammunition, you could just retreat, and then attack again with full ammunition, winds of magic and abilities.

Despite all the changes to the empire the counts are still absolutely USELESS. I wiped out Khazarak and gave the black pit and all or middheim back to borris. The black pit had ONE settlement left on the coast. I left to go deal with Kimmler figuring Boris could finish them off. Nope, next thing i know goblins had retaken the black pit and were marching on middemheim. USELESS

@@ryanhorton3248 Ok I can kind of see where you're coming from. Here's why this happens from my perspective: I've got thousands of people watching for the actual gameplay. I don't focus on graphics at all. When i get distracted on stuff that's not about the gameplay people leave the stream. So I appreciate a $2 superchat for sure but I'd rather not get the super chat if it means being less entertaining for the people that are watching for the actual battle. That will sometimes mean I am short with people. I wasn't trying to be a dick, I just could not focus any time or attention on something so trivial. I never meant to be thanks for the donation, idiot. It's more like thanks for the donation but I'd rather not have received it. I do tell people constantly to try to keep the conversation on the gameplay and that I reserve to right to not answer any questions that aren't related to that. That will sometimes mean people will superchat and be disappointed with my response.
