One small thing you missed is that Paradise will feature an 8:1 distance ratio between it and the Overworld, sort of like the inverse of traveling through the Nether. Otherwise, this video does a very good job with recapping all the features we know so far!

the fact that it’s going to be the Anti-Nether in the sense that it’s a prosperous paradise made of floating islands compared to charred rock over lava genius
The pigmen are actually based off of the original villagers by Miclee! Which.. were pigmen, not Notch's zombie pigman - they even got a bacon cape before it was revoked
I think its cool that it isnt just straight up copying the Aether even if its the same general idea
Paradise will also feature wisteria trees.
Seeing the pigmen was a blast from the past.
And a sky dimension makes me actually intrested in this mod. I wonder how it would hold up to the Aether.

Tbh I think pigmen should be afraid of/dislike gold, since zombie pigmen in hell like gold, and since gold is a symbol of greed and this is a heaven like dimension
Do the zombie pigmen care about gold in BTA though?

Didn't notice until I finished recording the script that little things like the loading world screen is dirt, while the nether loading screen was changed to be netherrack :')

tolkien fantasy elements definitely fit into the feel of OG minecraft i think, as long as they are heavily restricted.
I genuinely think that mojang should add rhe aether to vanilla., itd so iconic thst it doesn't even feel like a mod.
The only parts that feel modlike are the dungeons and progression system, everything else is a nice fit

I rlly think OG Minecraft should do smth like this 4 vanilla. Another dimension (or just the above space) that takes the player through an alternate story route. The falling meteor idea is just such a good idea.
Imagine something coming down on the overworld that’s so rare but also disappears if u don’t harvest it in the correct time & way 2 make the portal. That is just such the complete opposite way minecraft forces players 2 experience their worlds. Instead of being active underground, u have 2B patient & above the overworld. I think Mojang needs 2 tend players with a different playstyle 2 make the game like a sandbox game again.
does anyone else think that this dimension looks similar to the pax dimension added by the bracken datapack?

you missed the hole point about bta
Its a alternate timeline, also yhe aether mod has alot of elements that dont make it fit in with vanila
Also notch was making the paradise dimension but scraped it for the end

It's not trying to compete. BTA is focused on its own progression, not beating other mods.
