For fibrates and statins:
Rhabdomyolysis is a rare but serious complication of lipid-lowering therapy. Statin and fibrate combination increases the risk of rhabdomyolysis possibly by pharmacodynamic interactions. Advanced age, diabetes, hypothyroidism, polypharmacy, and renal impairment are known to increase the risk of rhabdomyolysis.

Excellent, program! Contraindications or interaction s of meds is a must in educating patients regarding their meds . Please include food and herbs., Patient is taking orally, inhalinf or topically.
At first, nakuha naman ng caption ang attention ko pero nakulangan lang ako sa kung paano mo maeexplain by means of stating the specific drugs, brands, et'al but thank you pero hindi lang siguro ito yung ineexpect ko..

Marami sa mga pasyente ang hindi nakakaalam kung anong dapat na pagsamahin maging kapwa another medicine or foods ang hindi dapat Dapat ipaliwanag mabuti sa brochure na may english at tagalog sapagkat kayong mga doctor lang at pharmacist ang nakakaintindi ng terms na inyong ginagamit. Dapat yan gawing batas para maintindihan ng marami nating kababayan lalo na so mga kaunti lang pinagaralan

May ilang antibiotics na nakakapag pababa ng epekto sa contraceptive pills kaya may chance na mabuntis..depende po ito sa antibiotic na iniinom or nireseta ..

good day po ma'am ask ko po sana kasi pina inom ko po nang robitussin dm ang 3years old kong anak 1teaspoonful po 3x a day po for 1week then ngayun ko lang po na realize na mali pala na sobrahan ang dosage nang gamot na nasa instruction nang gamot.. anu po posibleng epekto nito sa anak ko po? or anu po pwedeng ipa check sa kanya para masigurado ko lang po na ok ang health nang anak ko..

Its very informative although i could no cope up well bcoz of different generic names instead of the brand name of medicine, anyway if i experience hangover is it advisable to take paracetamol, is omega 3 can be taken along with other medicine, thank you..

OA meds naman
u can read the generic names of the drugs naman sa mismong packagings. Generic name = active pharmaceutical ingredient nung gamot, and andaming brands; for example, Ponstan, Dolfenal, Gardan, etc. are all brand names of Mefenamic Acid (250mg is OTC, 500mg is only available through prescription). Yung generic name is yung naka-box sa packaging.
