Hey so I’ve been thinking about hotshot for a little while now i have my cdl have all my endorsements. I mainly do tanker work and i like it its good money and I’m able to be home everyday. But i want the freedom of having my own thing so I’ve been looking into this. I think my only dilemma is this something i make work local and still be home everyday i can go otr some weeks but because of family obligations i have i can’t really be gone for weeks at a time. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated

I have never seen a schedule like that work.
You have to float on the breeze that is freight and go where it takes you.
The only way it works is if money is not your main concern.
I have had guys who wanted a truck and a good tax write off do it that way.
When cash is goal 1, it doesn't fly.
