I agree. As a korean american im so interested in trying the marinated or flavored meats like inasal adobo or sisig and kare kare. I want to try lechon ans lechon kawali too.
@@stevejung6470 Lechon Kawali or Liempo as some called it tastes really good with Mang Tomas sauce (gravy) or soy sauce mixed with vinegar and spices like chili, calamansi, and onion.
I love how Jessica tours and tells stories to her friend... it sounds basic like this is the Jeepney etc but that’s something you can’t see much in their country and it’s very Filipino too. I also like that Jessica’s no. 1 agenda is to introduce Mang Inasal 😂

I love how Chaebin reacts to everything. Hahaha. And Jessica's tour guiding is already at par with our locals! She even knew about the Aristocrat resto's history. Wow.
Chaebin looks like the type of girl where she enjoys literally everything, her reactions are contagious!! 💕
Jessica, Mang Inasal still offers chicken oil together with other condiment like soy sauce, and kalamansi only if you request them.They will get the bottle and pour it over the small plate. They do not put the bottles on table for hygienic reasons due to covid. Whenever we order food online we also get Mang Inasal's chicken oil and soy sauce with kalamansi in small liquid sachets.
Sadly at this one we went to they actually had a poster saying: no chicken oil. 😭

It’s so fun watching Jessica explain Filipino culture/cuisine to her Korean friends! Though she’s not fluent in Filipino but she really knows the background info of most things. DOT should try making Jessica a part of S.Korean promotion.

I have never seen this amazing and exciting side of Jessica talking to her friends. Her tone of voice, the content (Philippines), the delivery, her emotions… Wow. There’s something there that needs to be tapped. It’s how you respect everything about the Phili
so if you didn't know, aside from arnibal ( the caramelized sugar, like for taho ) the other ingredient for gulaman drink *is* banana essence.
jessica is a great Philippine ambassador, she is so knowledgeable about the Philippines though she may not know everything about the country but she is someone that you can rely on if you are a foreigner, always shows pride of her roots and never waiver to educate and learn, paging dept. of tourism, jessica deserve to have a post in your campaign to boost korean visitors... mad love to Jessica Lee

I know I'm just repeating what many have already said, but you do a great job, Jessica, in explaining and promoting things Filipino, from the culture, to the everyday practices, the food, etc. It helps that you speak several languages (and dialects) which opens up your vlog to a wider audience. You're also very pretty, which definitely helps your viewership. Your youthful enthusiasm would be an asset to The Philippine Dept. of Tourism, or even just your own Tour or Travel agency. Like you, I also lived in the Philippines for many years, about twice as long as you have, so I know that what you do has much value. Keep up the good work.

P.S. I just noticed Jessica said that Mang Inasal started in Bacolod. Bacolod is known for chicken inasal, however, Mang Inasal was actually founded in Iloilo City (by Injap Sia, an Ilonggo) which started in a mall car park. Hehe 😊

Omg Jessica, This is one of the best Vlog u did ever. I actually wanted to suggest to u months ago if u can invite ur korean friends and act as an ambassador or bridge bet culture and try to educate koreans on our culture to promote better understanding.
Have you tried JT's Manukan? It's a veteran actor's business where they serve authentic inasal since he's from Bacolod. You should go and try it, I think they still have a branch near Valencia, close to Horseshoe Village. :)

Mang inasal started in Iloilo City, though. First branch is located in Robinson Iloilo. Bacolod and Iloilo have tons of similarity though so it’s easy to get confused

Mang Inasal still serves the chicken oil but it comes in small packets (like ketchup). Some other branches will serve it in a small saucer if u request for it 😊
