This rice is called GOBINDOBHOG here in Bengal. Usually we don't cook biriyani with this rice . But in Bangladesh, they do cook biriyani with GOBINDOBHOG... ❤
It's called chinigura chal.
In South India, this rice is used for biryani
Kamini bhog rice, also called
We use gobind bhog for making pulao.
We do not use gobindovog, our rice variants are called chinigura and kalijeera which are small grained aromatic rice which are especially used for cooking biriyani, polao and firni or any kind of gourmet party dishes.
