In the interests of a decentralized network, there should be a small miner in every home.
At this point, I'm convinced miners are not passive income but actually quite active. But I enjoy the work lol
lol it really varies, especially as you scale
This I agree with! I have a small farm and it sometimes needs immense amount of time and at other times nothing to almost nothing for months.
@@tradingnichols2255 yep. i have a very modest setup (19 gpus, 2 mini ipollo asics, 1 jasminer) and sometimes i don't touch the setup for weeks, other times its multiple times a day
@@tradingnichols2255 how much did your farm cost and how much do you profit
Good video, thanks!
To be fair, I haven’t actually thought about this very much, so what I’m about to say could very well be nonsense, but it seems to me that huge markups on profitable rigs are economically unavoidable, because they’re the only way that selling to retail is economically viable - otherwise, selling a rig would be less profitable for the manufacturer than simply keeping it and running it themselves.
Come to think of it, maybe that’s part of why they’re so hard to find on the market - as soon as they’re supposedly put up for sale, they’re purchased by a shell company owned by the manufacturer.
Do you have any recommendations on new coins and miners that would be early market entries for people?
Hey Vosk, great video! I haven't gotten into mining myself so far (except for the Helium miner) and I'm thinking about buying the AL-Box. But in the last month I've seen the profitability plummet from around 100 to around 30 now and to be honest I'm concerned if it would be a bad investment to buy this miner for 1/3 of my savings, especially compared to just investing in cryptocurrencies. What do you think about that?
I’ve done every type of mining like GPU/CPU/ HDD I was about to get into helium mining too. But one thing I wanted to do or trying to get into is like ASICS or plug and play miners. So one day I’ll buy one I don’t know when but one day
Yo! Got a KA Box last week. Love it.
What are you using for power? I'm using the Bitmain power supply from Goldshell right now. The power supply is way to loud... the gf doesnt like it lol
Love the videos man keep them coming
Get rid of your gf then…
whats the profit on the avalon nano 3??
Been thinking about upgrading my Antminer L3++ Vosk without spending the big bucks which one you thinking for doge coin
what's the budget? its basically mini doge 3 or antminer l7 / dg1 or dg1+ or the new incoming L9 but its a crazy price scale from several hundred to 15k lol
Would love to find me a used L7 power not a issue I'm already running a s21 & K7 just have a lot out on those already but like the Doge coin@@VoskCoin
Asic market place has a new ks0 ultra miner 400gh/s but at the price point i got my ks0 pros its not worth it. But seeing when it gets over clocked it may be.
Wich one is the cheapest and is a short ROI?
They all never get your money back , better to buy coins for the money
What are your thoughts on Fry miners?
I’m not big on location based miners anymore
You can't make money on them so I would rather just buy 134$ of BTC
AL Box are continually dropping, like $7100 delivered, immediately available and $6650 for June pre order.
where do you see that pricing?
@@VoskCoin asicminvervalue has a few companies for that price (cryptominerbros/nhash/asicmarketplace,jinglemining, etc). Makes me think those companies know something and a new model like the new ka box pro or ks5lpro is coming out.
Hard drive mining what do they mine?
Chia xch
thats the point. i cannot choice a solution. hard buisness
Thank you for the content!!! All we need is the right advice on how to invest in crypto and we will be set for life , made $24k from trading last month and so happy about it.
Passive income in the red. Electricity will cost more then profit. Especially BTC. I shut my down and will turn it back on when BTC significantly goes up. After halving there is no profit even with the most efficient miners unless you risk hosting in 3rd world country with cheap electricity
Btc is hitting all time highs tho
